The guides were knowledgeable about wild life & helped us see wildlife we might have missed otherwise. Doing the outings along with other people also added to the overall experience. Communication was good & they were right on time foe each event.

I just want to say that Annelie Vermeulen from Getaway Africa Adventures is absolutely the best in the business when it comes to planning a dream holiday.
My wife and I contacted three different companies before reaching out to Annelie. All of them promised to get back to us, but none ever did. A friend recommended Annelie, saying she had planned their holiday and that he would never use anyone else again. So we decided to contact her.
We told Annelie that we wanted to go to Turkey and gave her a list of the places we wanted to see. Within a week or two, she sent us a range of hotel options, all chosen for their central locations and cost-effectiveness. She also provided us with a detailed itinerary that included flights, hotel bookings, airport transfers, and guided tours.
Every part of the trip—from transfers and flights to hotels and tours—went exactly as planned. The tour guides were of a very high standard, and their knowledge made the experience truly unforgettable.
At one point, I injured my back and couldn’t attend a scheduled tour the following day. I contacted Annelie, and she immediately reassured me. She not only canceled the tour but also managed to get our money refunded.
We will never use anyone else to plan our holidays again. My wife and I are so grateful to Annelie for everything she did and for being someone we could trust with our hard-earned money. We will definitely recommend her to all our friends and family. Thanks to Annelie, we had an unforgettable experience .

Experienced for Namibia tour planning
Getaway Africa organized our 10 days tour in Namibia in less than a week and just a month prior to the trip. Annelie was very responsive and accommodated our wishes and perfectly puzzled all the must seen from our list: safari in Etosha, Swapokmund and the coast, Sossusvlei and Deadvlei! Every driver was skilled and on time, accomodations were clean, good located and with a very good service and the overall experience was simply amazing! We could not recommend Getaway Africa more for how quick and perfectly they prepared our trip to Namibia!

Amazing experience
The experience was incredible! We took the 5-day desert and coast tour, spending two days in the desert and the other two in Swakopmund. Communication was very efficient, starting from when we first contacted the agency for information about prices and itineraries. Everything was very well organized. Our guide, Berron, was wonderful, with great knowledge of the history, biology, and geology of the areas we visited, explaining everything to us. We learned a lot about Namibia, which is a fantastic country. Both the desert and the coast are amazing! I was expecting a great experience, but it was even better than I had anticipated. On the coast, activities were not included in our package, so we booked the Sandwich Harbour tour separately, which is definitely worth it. We thought the value for money was good, as we didn't have to worry about anything. Accommodations and food included in the package were really nice, and we learned a lot from our guide. If we had opted for self-driving, we probably would have saved some money, but I think contracting the agency was a good decision for a more complete and relaxing experience. The only issue was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work during our entire stay in the desert.

Perfect service
I booked a combined Africa trip starting from Joburg, transfer to Madikwe game reserve, then back to Joburg for a flight to Windhoek and a 3 day Sossusvlei tour. Annelie Vermeulen provided excellent service and also booked our flight to Seychelles. It was very easy to communicate and I got exactly what I asked for. Highly recommended.

everything was perfect
I and my friends had booked a 3-day tour in the desert of Namibia, starting from Windohek. The guide arrived on time, was very professional and helpful, and gave us a lot of very interesting information about the places, game and plants we were passing by. The accomodation was in line with what we expected, even more comfortable, in a nice lodge near Soussvlei. We were provided all the time with water and everything we needed, the tour was exactly ad displayed in the brochure, good value for the money we had paid. Communication before the tour was very quick, exaustive and during the tour our local guide gave us all the information we needed, I would sincerely recommend it to other travelers
