Our experience with Kichaka Tours exceeded every expectation. From the first messages, Stephen made planning effortless. He was easy to reach, quick to respond, and guided us through customizing a 15-day safari and beach honeymoon that felt truly personal. Throughout the process, the team’s professionalism and attention to detail stood out.
Every property we stayed in offered comfort and remarkable value for money. What made the journey especially memorable was our guide, Timan. His knowledge of the parks and wildlife added so much depth to each day, and his warm personality made it feel as if we were traveling with a longtime friend.
Kichaka handled all logistics with impressive reliability. Pickups were punctual, the game drives were comfortable and adapted to our pace of travel, and all domestic flights and transfers were arranged seamlessly. By the time we reached Diani Beach, everything was already taken care of, allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying our honeymoon.
We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enriching trip. Kichaka Tours and Travel delivered an experience we will always treasure, and we look forward to returning to Kenya with them in the future.

Professional and flexible touroperator with very kind and skilled drivers/guides
After some business meetings and visiting flower farms in the area around Mount Kenia, my wife and I decided to arrange a customized safari-tour with Kichaka Tours and Travel. We were picked up at our hotel and drove up to Lake Nakuru for just one day/night followed by 2 days/nights in The Masai Mara. We enjoyed every moment of this trip and also the chosen accommodations were perfect . ( Sarova Lion Hill game lodge & Sarova Mara Game Camp). From food to game-drives, everything turned out exactly how we imagined it would be and maybe even better.
We absolute recommend this company to anyone who is looking for an affordable and unforgettable experience with Kenyan wildlife.

Professional from start to finish.
From the first email Geophrey was great to communicate with. He put together a wonderful a 12 day private safari itinerary through Tanzania and Kenya which we made small adjustments to via WhatsApp with ease.
The accomodation was fantastic (tents in the Serengeti were a highlight), the food was wonderful everywhere, the guides, especially Richard, were extremely knowledgeable and great drivers. And the National Parks we visited absolutely blew us away.
We also saw the gorillas in Uganda and everything was just as well organised, from pick ups to guides and accomodation.
I highly recommend Kichaka for an unforgettable African experience.

Dream experience
Probably the best trip that I had. Very well organised, Richard was a fantastic guide with a lot of experience and knowledge, giving a lot of details and finding amazing spots. All employees were super nice, I am super happy with the journey, I totally recommend. Just one recommendation, I would skip Lake Naivasha, but strongly recommend Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Diani Beach. If I would plan again I would choose to go to Samburu up north, or cross to Serengeti.

Everyone at Kichaka and those connected were excellent.
I had issues with the visas for my family and was delayed in arriving in Nairobi by 48 hours. Stephen and his team at Kichaka were fantastic, helping with calls to the Visa office and rescheduling my itinerary. Stephen and his team in the office were fantastic from my initial enquiry all the way through to helping with my delayed arrival. This was my 3rd trip to Kenya and definitely the best.

I had a memorable 4-day private safari to Naivasha and Masai Mara with Kichaka Tours. Their organization and attention to detail were commendable, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Douglas was an incredible guide—his expertise and hospitality made the experience truly memorable.
Keekorok Lodge, situated within the Masai Mara Reserve, offers the advantage of immediate access to safari game drives, allowing for more time observing wildlife and less time commuting. However, the accommodation could benefit from updates, as some facilities felt dated, and we experienced occasional electrical shortages. The on-site Hippo Bar provides a unique setting, though viewing hippos can be challenging as they often remain submerged, and the area carries a noticeable odor due to their presence. Despite these minor drawbacks, the lodge’s prime location within the park is a significant plus.
Overall, Kichaka Tours provided an excellent safari experience, and I would recommend them to others seeking a well-organized adventure in Kenya.

The best safari holiday with an amazing tour group!
My husband and I had the most amazing safari holiday for our honeymoon organized by Kichaka Tours! I selected Kichaka Tours over some larger tour operators based on their stellar ratings, excellent communication, and detail involving the suggested route/accommodations. Stephen from Kichaka was very responsive and helped us work out an itinerary that made sense for us. He was very helpful with every step of the process leading up to the trip and even helped us secure a camera lens rental in Nairobi. Charles was then our driver and guide for our 7 day private safari and he was wonderful! We could tell he was a true animal lover who was very well-versed in animal behaviour. Whenever we mentioned our desire to see certain animals, he would make it that day's mission to find it for us - whether it was leopards, rhinos, or lion cubs, he worked his magic to find the right areas/conditions for us to spot them. We adored every park we went to and the accommodations Kichaka booked for us were perfect! Our safari included 2 nights in Amboseli, 1 night on Lake Naivasha and 3 nights at Maasai Mara. I highly recommend the Serena hotels (both in Amboseli and Maasai Mara) that Kichaka partners with, we loved both of them. Staying at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge was also a great choice because its located in the Mara Triangle Conservancy, which is less crowded than the main Maasai Mara Reserve and felt more remote.
I could not recommend Kichaka Tours more for your Kenyan safari, it was the best trip and we wish we could relive it!

Very responsive, respectful, diligent and overall committed to ensuring we had a good experience.
Geoffrey the organizer was in constant communication with us and ensured that we had everything in order to make sure the 1/2 day trip to Nairobi National Park went well without being overbearing. They allowed us to pay a 50% deposit and then pay the remainder on the day that we met the driver which made me feel very comfortable. Carlos the driver and guide was personable, professional and had a good eye - we spotted almost every animal that day with the exception of the ever-elusive lion. I personally feel like he went out of his way to try and locate one but it just wasn’t in the cards for the day that we went.
Although Nairobi National Park is inside of the city you truly feel like you are in the wilderness, with the exception of the city skyline in the background which adds a very cool element to the experience. It was an amazing experience that we won’t forget and is a fantastic introduction to a longer or more involved safari.
I would 100% recommend Kichaka and I’m glad I went with them. I can’t really see how we could have had a better time, paid a better price or had a better experience. Thanks, guys!
