Exceptional Safari Experience with Rafiki Tembo Tours

I recently had the pleasure of going on a safari organized by Rafiki Tembo Tours, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Lowassa arranged an incredible trip to Mikumi National Park, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

The journey started with the new electric SGR train from Dodoma, the capital city of Tanzania, to Morogoro, which was both comfortable and scenic. Arriving in Mikumi was exciting, and we felt welcomed right from the start.

Our guide, who was not only friendly but also exceptionally knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystem, made our safari unforgettable. He shared fascinating insights about the animals we encountered and the park’s unique environment. It was a joy to see the wildlife up close with someone who truly understands and respects the natural world.

This safari was a dream come true for my friends and me, all of whom are from Germany. We experienced the beauty of Tanzania and created memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Amazing Safari Experience with Rafiki Tembo Tours! I recently had the most unforgettable safari experience with Rafiki Tembo Tours, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing team that made it all happen. From the very start, Lowassa organized everything seamlessly, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The village walk in Mto wa Mbu with Ally and Livingstone was a highlight, providing an authentic experience with insight into local life and culture. The meal was delicious, featuring 8 traditional dishes that truly captured the essence of the region's cuisine. The safaris themselves were spectacular! We explored Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Embakai Trekking, Lake Natron, and Oldonyo Lengai. One of the most exciting parts of the trip was hunting with the Hadzabe in Lake Eyasi, which was an unforgettable experience. Our guides, Athuman Simba and Mayunga, were absolutely fantastic – knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the wildlife and culture, making the experience even more enriching. The food, prepared by Liberat and Ibrahim, was amazing, and I truly appreciated the authentic flavors they provided throughout the trip. A special thanks to the staff at Fig Tree Lodge and everyone involved in this incredible journey. Their hospitality and care made us feel at home every step of the way.
