From the moment we connected with Thiam Travel we felt comfortable that we were communicating with an excellent travel coordinator all of the plans as quoted were accurate and interesting . We took day tours with Thiam and Adji they made our family feel very welcome from the first greeting at the airport on arrival . The 6 day tour of the garden route hosted by Sam was an excellent adventure. All arrangements for sightseeing and accommodation was first class . They exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended .

My wife, 9 years old granddaughter and I have just returned from a visit to Victoria Falls and Johannesburg. This last part of our trip was arranged by Thiam Sadibou, from Thiam Travels. We couldn’t have chosen better! Thiam is not only an excellent tour operator but a great human being. He made sure we had the most pleasant experiences visiting Victoria Falls and Johannesburg. From the beginning Thiam gave us the best and most honest advice as to the places to visit and the activities to do, most importantly, considering we were traveling with a 9-year-old child. He was always available by email, phone or WhatsApp when we needed to contact him while planning our trip. Thiam “went the extra mile” with us, making sure that our granddaughter felt like at home. She loved walking, talking and running bicycle with Thiam! He is a very caring and funny guy who accompanied us all the way; from our arrival at Victoria Falls’ airport to our departure from Johannesburg. SURPRISING JOURNEY
It was completely different from other trips to Africa.
A country waiting to be discovered, everything very unspoiled. Beautiful landscapes, from the rice paddies to the mountains and the plateau, changing every few hours.
Everything was amazing: the roads, the villages, the very friendly people, the cute children always waving.

We had a great time, both our guides were great! However, we felt there was a lack of communication once we arrived at the lodge. There was a bit of lack in detail about the itinerary leaving us confused about certain details or payments left to us. Alongside, not being sure who our guides were because they kept switching depending on the activities for the day. Other than that, we enjoyed our time.

Thiam Travels is the perfect guide for multi-generational families!
Thiam Travels was an exceptional tour operator and crafted an unforgettable South African journey for a group of 11 people ages 11-81! We hit all of the highlights, Capetown area for several days, winelands, intrastate flights to/from the Garden Route, and a malaria-free luxury safari.
Thiam was also very meticulous and able to easily change itineraries when needed because of the weather, (including the tablecloth on Table Mountain) or when we expressed interest to visit a garden.
I would highly recommend Thiam Travels for an expertly crafted experience in South Africa to accommodate any age group.
