Highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Maereg, and driver, Gashaw, were incredibly professional. The tour was very informative and Lalibela is incredibly beautiful. A must visit!

A great tour guide, better human being!
I had the fortunate experience of having an intimate tour with Maereg. This brother is not only a great tour guide but a great human being. He even went as far as retrieving a jacket I had left behind on our way to my lodge. He is super knowledgeable of the churches and city of Lalibela as a whole. Amazing tour in Lalibela
I had the most amazing experience visiting the churches of Lalibela. My guide, Jeremy was exceptional, super kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about history. It honestly felt like walking with an open book! Jeremy took great care to show me the most beautiful spots, always paying close attention to every detail to make sure I had the best experience possible.
I couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more memorable day. If you’re visiting Ethiopia, I highly recommend this tour organised with the help of Maereg who is a really kind and available person. It’s an experience I’ll never forget!

My best recommendation to visit Lalibela
We expend wonderful time at Lalibela, and most of this was because of our guide, Maereg. He was so kind, professional, and helpful, and took good care of us. The allocation was perfect with incredible views, and the food out of comments!!! His knowledge about history and religion is amazing, and he generously shares with you. His devotion is something than we will remember through the years. He really touched our souls. Thank you my friend!

When is the best tours that we have ever taken.
At the beginning of the tour, I had a lot of doubt about the safety of being in Ethiopia. Once we arrived at the airport, we met Maereg and I started to feel more comfortable. At each moment, he made us feel safe and always was very attentive. At every step, he would answer any question that we would have. He was also an amazing photographer and took many great photos! Excellent services provided by Maereg and his Team. The local guides and the drivers - Geta (my fave) were all great. They were patient, professional, knowledgeable and took great care of us. Everything was seamlessly coordinated and they were always on time for pickups and made sure we were briefed in advance of the itinerary and any changes. One of my top travel destinations in Africa with some of the kindest and warmest people. Maereg went above and beyond! First class service with always with a smile!
