Professional and flexible.
chose GoldFinch for my safari trip because Elizabeth was incredibly responsive from the moment I submitted my enquiry through their website. She helped plan the entire itinerary and accommodated my request to add an extra night — all at a very reasonable price.
Initially, I hadn’t planned well around the Great Migration schedule and missed booking a safari to the Northern Serengeti to witness the river crossing. But after arriving in Arusha and discussing it with Elizabeth, she quickly rearranged my itinerary so I could experience this once-in-a-lifetime event. I'm so grateful she made it happen — watching the wildebeests cross the Mara River was absolutely breathtaking.
Our driver and guide, Godbless, was amazing. Despite a mechanical issue on the first day, he calmly fixed the problem and got us safely to the campsite. His experience and enthusiasm made the safari truly enjoyable. He always found the perfect angles for spotting and photographing wildlife, making every game drive exciting and rewarding.
Overall, the service, flexibility, and care from GoldFinch exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Tanzania in a personal and professional way!

Professional and cares for your needs
I had a smooth overall experience. I did Tarangire, Lake manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Materuni falls. Elizabeth was there whenever I needed her, which wasn't often. I had a pick up to and from the airport. I had great drivers/ guides at the parks. The food was good. The whole organization of the safari was excellent. They offer great packages for great prices. I wish I could express in words my experience but I don't think that I can. When I come back to Tanzania is my first choice for sure. They are first humans and then professionals. They care for your needs as they are yours.

Definitely worth it!!
The communication with Elizabeth was perfect from the beginning. There weren’t a lot of reviews for Goldfinch so we were a little careful, but everything went perfect!
There was a little change in planning but that was okay for us and well communicated by Elizabeth. Our guide for the first days was Athumani Simba. You could tell he LOVED his job. He was always looking with us to find the animals, took us everywhere! He was also so funny!
Mind that the drives can be long, but Simba was a good driver! The food was also amazing because for lunch, we saw a lot of people with boxes filled with different stuff, but we had warm freshly cooked meals everyday for lunch and dinner!
Our last day at Lake Manyara was with Augustino who also loved doing his job. He explained everything so well and made sure we were comfortable and we could give our opinion.
10/10 would definitely recommend!

Well organized and very friendly
It was a wonderful trip! Everything went very smoothly, from Elisabeth's pick-up at the airport in Arusha to the end. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information. We saw many lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and much more.
The nights in the tent were very exciting, with buffalo around us at night. Hearing the animal sounds up close was unique. The food was very good. I traveled alone and can highly recommend it. I would book the trip again in a heartbeat.

Excellent trip on a budget
First, the customer service with Goldfinch was beyond expectations. Elizabeth was there every step of the way. There was a problem with having to pay for a dinner which should have been included, and she worked her way through the refund process over a month until we were finally reimbursed.
The hotel accommodations were good, the included meals were good, the tour itinerary and included safari and city tours were great. The tent camping was a little rough with the rain, but we understand that camping was necessary at this price in order to get us close to the national parks. The safari guides were friendly and experienced, and we saw more wildlife than we expected.
We highly recommend Goldfinch Expeditions for your safaris.

Fantastic
The guys at GoldFinch were exceptional, they accommodated our every request.
Even though they brought forward our return flight from Arusha to Zanzibar, they allowed us to start the safari in the Ngorongoro Crater earlier, instead of at eleven in the morning, they allowed us, by coordinating with the guides and transport, to start the safari at 6 in the morning and it was fantastic.
For us it was a fantastic three days full of emotions and we managed to see all the big 5

Wonderful experience, great communication with Elizabeth on the organizational part
Our trip to Tanzania was one of the best trips of our life time. The safari tour was a big part of it. Elizabeth communicated and organized everything seamlessly, customer service was top notch, our tour guide Kasami was so knowledgeable and a person with a great heart. Food was delicious and everywhere we stayed at workers were very nice and accommodating. We loved the beautiful parks and seeing all the animals in 4 different national parks. Highly recommended safari experience and Elizabeth’s tour company.

Best safari experience ever!
The best experience ever you can have is with Goldfinch. After analize many companies offers I choose this one, and Elizabeth stay in touch all the time to be sure you are having a great safari. The jeep with power plug to charge batteries, the beverages, food, Assad the guide who could see animals we couldn't have seen without his help... everuthing was wonfñderful. The last day I decided to go to Materuni waterfalls with Joel, he was so good explaning and guiding, it was a rainy day, and he bring us rainboots and a pilots to be more comfortable. I'm so happy to choose this company, and firmar sure I'll come back and choose it again. Thanks for make my dream true ❤️
