Simon Mwakajumba at Herbivore Expeditions surpassed our expectations on our journey through 3 National parks in Tanzania, and even assisted with a 4 day beach holiday in Zanzibar! Simon and his crew attended to every detail, making the experience immersive and relaxing, exciting and amazing all at once! We cannot thank them enough for their effort in making our adventure unforgettable!
Simon arranged picnics in the middle of the bush and was able to spot Cheetah and lions we couldn't have seen without his guidance. For my second safari in East Africa, I much preferred this customized experience to the hectic pace of my first tour with a large US based tour company. The lodges, food and service were spectacular! Simon is awesome. He has an amazing knowledge of the flora and fauna of Tanzania. He has bionic eyes and can spot wildlife that he points out before you will ever see.

Simon went out of his way to personalize each experience for his guests.
Simon was extremely personable and an amazingly informative guide. He went out of his way to make certain his guests will see the animals as close as possible. He was very knowledgeable about the animals, their environment, and the native tribes that inhabited the land. We felt a bond with Tanzania and look forward to visiting again. AMAZING BEYOND ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS
We arrive home last week following an 10 days tour with Herbivore African expeditions,Tarangire,Ngorongoro crater and serengeti.It was amazing beyond all our expectations. Our private guide was a Tanzanian local,English speaking, He was excellent great local knowledgeble and organized everything like clockwork.Our accommodation was brilliant, we were treated like royalty, check out Arumeru river lodge in Arusha,Ngorongoro serena lodge,4 season hotel in serengeti was amazing.would highly reccomend this tour and look forwad to another experience with Herbivore African expeditions in the future.
