Phinorah took care of every single detail of our journey, transforming it into an experience we will never forget. She truly understood our wishes and needs, going far beyond the expectations of her role. Thanks to her, we didn’t just see Kenya – we lived it from the inside.
The tour itself: We had the chance to explore five incredible natural areas – Naivasha, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Amboseli, and Tsavo East – some of which are far apart and connected by roads that can be rough or unpaved. It’s worth noting that many bookings are made up to a year in advance (which wasn’t possible for us), so hotel availability can be limited.
Our safari was done in a van with a pop-up roof. Pros: Traveling slowly through the parks gave us more time to spot and enjoy the wildlife (while jeeps often rush by). Cons: Jeeps can access areas that vans cannot. In addition, our van, though very well maintained and mechanically sound, was quite old and not the most comfortable for long distances

Swift, responsive and effective
We were wary about visiting Africa for the first time. We were not familiar at all with the region and thanks to Phinora everything went perfectly. We had zero setbacks on our trip.
She made sure we always had a guide available, she was always available to clarify questions we had throughout the trip.
We told Phinora what we were looking for in our vacation and she provided great ideas. All accommodations, commutes, guides, even food was greatly planned.
Thanks to that the trip went smoothly and we had an amazing experience.

Super professional and amazing driver!
Rochar is super professional and from the start very quick on changing and accommodating itineraries and any request. They booked hotels according to what we requested and they were great in following up and checking on us. However the experience really depends on having a good car and an amazing driver. We got David and he knew the area and the animal sightseeing spots like the palm of his hand, really recommend him. We had an outstanding trip thanks to him!!

From the first response to my initial enquiry, I could tell that Phinorah had really understood what I was hoping for and she came up with a great choice of options in both accommodation and location, always communicating well and keeping me updated.
Our guide Jonathan, was excellent and his knowledge of the wildlife and terrain, particularly in the Mara, which is his homeland, was absolutely outstanding. He helped us gain an insight into Masai culture and he was also very proactive and resourceful in dealing with challenging circumstances. His ability to interpret the landscape and spot the movement of animals allowed us to see all of the big 5 up close and often personal! This was also helped by his off-road driving skills, which were key to us being in just the right place at the right time, and ultimately gave us a very privileged view of so much of the amazing wildlife . We are extremely grateful to Jonathan for the incredible experience he has given us and for some wonderful lasting memories of our time on safari - We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a similar experience and wish him every success, for the future.

Rochar were amazing. They planned the perfect vacation for us.
Rochar Africa gave us a perfect experience. During the preparation part, they were very flexible providing us different options and changes in order to get the best itinerary for us.

Excellent Safari Experience
From our first communication with Phinorah to our final few moments with Jonathan, our guide/driver, our seven day safari was excellent. Our accommodations at the four locations where we stopped were exceptional. The game drives in each park provided many opportunities for seeing many animals of every kind.
