Incredible!
Kihindo Tours was truly the best, from booking to drop off. Winnie and team ensured we had all the information needed and organised the safari tour to run smoothly. We literally didnt have to lift a finger, we were taken from the hotel to train station and then train station to Mikumi for the safari. Saloniki was a great tour guide, cheerful and passionate! Was very knowledge about the animals, Mikumi and the surrounding national parks. Food was great, very fresh! Got to see giraffes, hippos, monkeys, elephants and lions! I would strongly recommend Kihindo if you want an unforgettable experience! Many thanks to the Kihindo team!!

Spectacular and our guide Michael has been a 10 at all times. Explaining and helping us, a luxury!
The assessment of this safari is very positive. First of all, because the hotels have been very good and the food very good.
As for the safaris, they have been very interesting (choosing Nyere and Mikumi allows you to see two different landscapes and different animals). In addition, we enjoyed the river excursion and the morning excursion was very good. The visit to the tribe was very interesting.
But the most important thing has been our guide, Michael, a very patient person and always with a smile. He has explained everything to us about the animals on the safari, the villages and the culture of Tanzania. Always attentive to us and caring about us. In addition, he is a great driver, you can tell that he has been doing this for years. And he loves his job, and he has transmitted this to us. We believe that without Michael we would not have had such a good experience. He has been a 10, congratulations for his work and for having him on the team. A person and worker that everyone would want to have on their team.

Amazing experience and can’t wait for my next safari.
The entire trip was very well organised and communicated well from the team. The safari was beautiful! We managed to see all of the animals inc. lions, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and more. It was a great day.
Our guide Saloniki was very knowledgable and friendly and made the experience even better. He answered all of our questions and looked after us well.
Pick up and drop off were also very timely and organised which made the whole trip very easy with nothing to worry about.
Will be telling my friends and would definitely go again. Great value for money.

This tour was fantastic!
We saw so many amazing animals (often very close!), and Danfort was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He shared facts about each animal and seemed to know exactly where to find all the animals! We were lucky to see many elephants, giraffes, and lions! This was a fantastic tour, and we had an amazing day!

Kihindo tours deserves more than 5 stars! My wife and I took our 7-year old son and 13-year old daughter on a 2-day safari (1 day to see the animals and 1 day for a beautiful hike through the Uluguru mountains). Our experience was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Everyone we met from Kihindo tours was extremely helpful and pleasant. We saw so many animals (6 lions) and loved our hike. The food was amazing everywhere, our lodging was beautiful, and service was excellent. We highly recommend Kihindo tours!

If you’re hesitating to book a safari tour, don’t!
We’ve had an incredible experience with Kihindo from start to finish. Within the hour of submitting a request for a quote, Winnie sent us an itinerary. She was helpful and quick to respond, and made booking onto the tour a breeze.
We were picked up in Dar es Salaam by Adam, who is very conscientious and friendly. The journey to Mikumi and back was very smooth thanks to him.
We’re so glad to have had Saloniki as our safari guide. He knows so much and is happy to share facts and answer questions. He’s got eagle eyes and would spot animals at incredible distances. We would’ve been happy seeing an animal or two, but ended up seeing elephants, baboons, monkeys, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions feasting, a lioness and two cubs, pumbas, impalas, and much more. Saloniki was so quick to get us in and always tried his utmost best to provide us with an exceptional experience. He took photos for us and always asked if we were happy with where to go next, though we were happy to trust his expertise. Overall, Saloniki really made this experience unforgettable with his patience and kindness, and we hope to be back for more safaris to explore all that Tanzania has to offer.
