Danford's assistance
Danford is a legendary ranger! His expert tracking and deep knowledge made our safari unforgettable. We saw incredible wildlife thanks to his eagle eyes and passion for the bush. Highly recommend requesting him for the trip of a lifetime!

Fantastic
The guide is super nice and everything was great. Hotel is clean and food is ok.
Good arrangements, reliable.
Well organised tour. We booked last minutes and still they managed to plan everything perfectly. We went on the Safari with Danford and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and invested in us having the best experience. I would recommend this tour for a first Safari!

Amazing Trip
My safari was very enjoyable and exciting. I loved seeing animals like lions, elephants, and giraffes in the natural habitat ❤️. The scenery was beautiful, and the services were excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would love to visit again in the future 🙏.

Smooth safari experience
Our guide Danford were friendly and so knowledgeable about the animals! He was so good at bringing our vehicle for a good position to see the animals. We saw hippos, giraffes, elephants, hogs, impalas, antelopes, lions!! Lunch was also nice and generous.

This could be very possible this is the best operator in Tanzania.
This tour was like a moving all-inclusive hotel in savana. Wild and comfortable at the same time. The program was intense but manageable. We preferred nature experience over the cultural one, but it depends on one’s preferences. You will be very lucky if you get Mike as your guide who was professional and very helpful during our trip.

Beautiful Tour, great explanations, incredible nature!
Danford and Owen picked us up at 6:30 AM. It's very important to start early because that's when most animals are out and about. Within the first half hour, we had already seen lions, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, and warthogs. Both guides explained a lot about the individual animals to us in very good English and were very accommodating of our wishes. It was especially nice that we had the whole car to ourselves. I was with a friend, so there were four of us in total with the two guides. They both gave their all to make our experience as wonderful as possible. We always felt very safe. The lunch was super tasty, the guides had water for us. They are also happy to take photos. So, the safari and the stay at Camp Bastian were a 12/10 for us.
We arrived by ferry and train. Due to the heat, it was quite strenuous, but we were well instructed for the way. Fortunately, you were taken from the ferry to the train station in about 15 minutes on foot, which worked out well.
We also found the price for the entire tour to be very reasonable, and the communication was great too. The only thing we found a bit disappointing about the payment was the following: we had paid a small amount up front, and the rest was to be paid on the spot. Unfortunately, we were not informed that cash payment is preferred. We wouldn't have felt comfortable walking around the entire island of Zanzibar, taking a ferry, and going through Dar es Salaam with about $1,000 in cash. We then opted for card payment, which cost 4% more.
That was a small minus for us, but we would book the safari again at any time and say thank you, especially to our guides Danford and Owen!!
