Great guide, awesome management
In August 2025, we visited beautiful Kenya, booked a tour at Sumian safari, and were satisfied with the guide and the trip as a whole. However, the manager's job is terrible - for 6 months I have been waiting for a refund for the hotel (we booked a certain hotel, and on the day of arrival we were informed that it was cold and settled in a more budget hotel). I've been promised a "money transfer tomorrow" for 6 months.

Great customer service, very responsive. Everything worked perfectly.
I couldn't be happier with the experience we received from Simian Safaris and I would recommend using them. Simian were able to offer us exactly the dates I required with exactly the right kind of tour of Kenya. The organised all the travel, including the taxis, which went very smoothly - we were picked up exactly as planned. They recommended an excellent hotel in Nairobi and arranged for our luggage to be brought there after the safari and they safely stored it during. They even went back to the hotel for us to collect something we had forgotten.
Simian offered helpful tips on what to bring and wear etc. The tour van (LandCruiser) was great, as was the guide/driver.

Great value for the price I paid, Simian Safaris staff were always helpful and provided a great safari tour during my 4 day layover in Nairobi. They made sure I arrive and departure safely at the airport. It was a one time life experience for me and was great to be part of.

Easy to work and organized
Working with Simian Safaris was a fantastic experience. They made the planning process seamless, tailoring the trip to our preferences. From the moment we arrived, they picked us up at the airport and introduced us to our safari guide. The first guide was knowledgeable, though not as proactive in spotting animals. However, the second guide was much more engaged and diligent in finding wildlife, which made for a much more dynamic safari. Although there were a few slight changes to the itinerary such as going to Naivasha lake, everything was well organized, and the hotels we stayed in far exceeded our expectations. On our last day, Denise was incredibly helpful, picking us up from our hotel and taking us to the Giraffe Center. The whole team was always available to answer any questions, and their support made our trip and planning very smooth and enjoyable.

Excellent safari
The Safari was an amazing experience, watched so many animals. The driver knew the best spots. The hotels were nice, especially Lake Nakuru Lodge. I asked them to include airport pick up, drop off and hotel in Nairobi and they did.
Communication could be better, there was a change in the hotel in Ambosseli and I was not informed about it.
In the same car they fit 6 people from different tour providers so not all stay in the same hotel, that complicated a bit the logistics and some days I had other drivers picking me to drive me to where the rest of the group was. Also, others can have less or more tour days so you might be with different groups.
Overall an excellent experience and I fully recommend it.

Birthday Safari Trip!
Simeon Safaris and Juliet allowed me to have an extraordinary 6-Day birthday safari!
While looking up safaris, I had reached out to a few different companies with inquires. Juliet was easily the #1 person I talked to while researching who to book with. I booked with Juliet within 24hrs of her contacting me. THAT is how pleased I was with her timely responses and the information she passed onto me. In total, we had an email chain of 29 messages from the time of booking up until I flew to Africa.
Upon arriving in Nairobi a day prior to the safari, Juliet had set up a hotel for me at the Best Western. There was a driver waiting for me with a sign once I got through customs and exited the airport. It was about a 20-25min drive from there to the hotel.
The following morning, Juliet and a driver picked me up promptly at 7am from my hotel and brought me to the Simeon Safari’s office. Once there, I completed the last of my paperwork, took welcome pictures, and was given a small lion figurine that had Simeon Safaris printed on it! Juliet then escorted me downstairs where I met the other members of my safari group, and our driver, Charles.
On day 2, Juliet messaged me via WhatsApp to check in and make sure everything was running smoothly. I had already seen numerous lions, so I sent her some pictures. Her response was, “ You were able to see Mufasa!”.
I would also like to mention that I booked the mid range accommodations. Somehow (I’m not entirely sure why), Juliet bumped me up to luxury for 5 of the 6 nights I stayed at no extra cost! Other members of my group selected the budget accommodations. Some of the distances between mid-range and budget were far apart, where luxury options were closer. This allowed for smoother transitions for daily pickups and drop offs. All of my accommodations were EXCEPTIONAL!
On the last day of my Safari, Juliet stayed in touch to ensure I arrived at the airport for my flight. She also contacted me to make sure I arrived back in the US! As a solo traveler, I cannot recommend her and Simeon Safaris enough! I felt safe, well taken care of, and had an extraordinary birthday while in Africa. Juliet, thank you so much for everything! Asante sana!!!

An amazing Safari trip
We had a great safari with Simian Safaris. Though the itinerary changed slightly, everything was well arranged. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and the guide was very active in finding animals. We saw many, including the Big Five. Overall， satisfied!
