Responsive, professional service and excellent planning made for a seamless safari.
Before my recent trip to Kenya, I researched several safari planning companies online and reached out to three of them. John at Rozsella Safaris responded to my inquiry almost immediately, which made a strong first impression.
Maurice, who coordinated my safari, worked with me to plan my visit to Amboseli National Park. Throughout the process, he was professional, courteous, and responsive. He accommodated my requests without hesitation and made the planning process smooth and enjoyable.
The accommodations at Ol Tukai Lodge were comfortable, and the service met my expectations. My driver, Songe, was also polite, professional, and pleasant to spend time with during the safari.
After booking my initial package, I asked Maurice to add a hot air balloon experience. I am very glad I did. The balloon flight became the highlight of my time in Amboseli. Kilimanjaro Balloon Safaris delivered an outstanding experience. Floating above the landscape at sunrise with Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance was truly memorable.
While the service provided by Rozsella Safaris was exceptional, I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed with Amboseli National Park itself. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro are undeniably beautiful, and the park offers excellent opportunities to see elephants. However, I found the overall wildlife viewing to be limited compared to my previous experiences in the Masai Mara and the Serengeti.
Given the travel time required to reach Amboseli from Nairobi, I ultimately found myself wishing I had made another journey to the Masai Mara instead. That observation reflects my personal preferences as a safari traveler and should not detract from the excellent service I received from Rozsella Safaris and its staff.

Amazing Safari Experience
Had the best experience on my safari with Rozsella! The whole team was super welcoming, friendly and hospitable, making sure all our needs were met and very proactive in making changes to accommodate my family and I.
We started our trip in Nairobi from where we drove to Masai Mara. Our safari driver Ojema was very pleasant and made the entire experience entertaining and comfortable. Our guide James, a local Masai was exceptional, he is well connected in the park and we were often first to rare sightings and saw the big 5 several times (not the rhino though, because there’s very few left in Mara and are rarely spotted). Both were very knowledgeable about the animals, their habits and the different tribes that roam around in the park, we learnt so much from them and made great memories!
Would definitely recommend the team for the safari experience!

Planning the safari with John was equally enjoyable as the safari itself
We are a family of five and we visited Masai Mara in May 2026.
I had a fantastic experience planning my safari vacation with John. He was prompt in replying to all my queries and flexible about my preferences. I had trouble getitng our ETAs, John helped immediately. I forgot my suitcase at the airport. The team at Rozsella, Ojeme our driver and Maurice took us back at once to procure it. The safari itself was fabulous. James our guide took alot of trouble to take us upclose to all the animals ensuring everyone's wishlist was met with. Ojeme was extremely pleasant and jovial. I checked with other tour operators as well before I booked Rozsella. They gave us very economical rates.
I don't think I could have asked for a better experience. Thankyou.

Their safari crew was good. James the safari guide was well versed with the Massai areas.
John was very helpful during the planning stages. Ojema was a excellent driver with a humourous personality.He took us from Nairobi to Massai Mara to naivasha and then back to Nairobi. James was the guide during the Massai Mara Safari. He was knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. Communication was good throughout the tour and the rozsella team was reliable.

Awesome trip to Amboseli
Super great service from the team at Rozsella.
They looked after us all well all weekend and recommended a great hotel.
Felix did an ace job with the driving, skipping lots of traffic where he could!
Would definitely book again when in Nairobi, as I know I can trust Maurice and team for our safari!

Fantastic weekend visit to Amboseli
We had a last minute idea for a safari on our business trip to go to Amboseli and despite it being within the week, Rozsella could sort it out for us.
They were professional with great communication all the way through. Although a fairy new company, the vehicle was comfortable, driver friendly and overall I found them to be very trust worthy (something I value when dealing with a new company abroad).
All in all, this was a great experience and I would recommend them to all.

Well communication and great care along the trip
Game driving with Rozsella Africa Safaris was a great experience! We had a blast seeing lots of animals. We chose Rozsella because of their services and well communication before, during and at the end of the trip. We chose to have a group joining experience and it ended with Japheth with a private safari and I had the best time, he is passionate, he is the best guide and amazing human being.
Hotels were really nice, we spotted hundred of animals like elephants, lions, zebras, cheetahs, hyenas… we could not have asked for a better African time. They care about your needs and they do everything to please you to the top and they make sure you are safe and well taken-care of. Make sure we will choose Rozsella for our next trip to Kenya ! Be with Japheth (our guide) was in incredible experience. We succeed to help us to see lots of animals (lyon, red elephant, giraffe, cheetah… )he is very passionate.
