An unforgettable 6-day safari with Get Together Adventures
Last November, I went on a 6-day safari with Get Together Adventures. It was a fantastic experience. Communication with Emmanuel and Savilinyi was very easy, and they were always there for us before and during the trip. From the airport pickup to the transport during the day, they arranged everything for us when needed. Even when something had to be changed during the trip, they did everything they could to arrange it. We felt completely cared for and very welcome the whole trip with them.
About the safaris. Each park had it's own charm, which meant that no day was the same and each day was unique in it's own way. We saw the Big 5 and lots of other animals. Our guide Emmanuel had a lot of knowledge and passion for his job; he could tell us everything about the animals, nature, and the area, which made the safari extra special and fun. Besided the more serious parts of the safari, we had a lot of fun an laughed a lot with him. If we ever go back to Tanzania, one thing is for sure: we'll do it with Get Together again.

It really doesn't get better than this !!
Having travelled the world I thought I had seen a lot, wildlife and safaris included. All that fades when travelling through Tanzania. Emmanuel and the team at Get Together Adventures put together a fantastic trip which leaded me to Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, the impressive Ngorongoro crater and Laka Manyara. A huge variety in landscapes and nature at such a relatively short distance, from rain forest to savannahs and each park with its own beauty and wildlife.
From the first contact with Emmanuel to the last day, everything was perfectly arranged. The organization is professional, personal, and you immediately feel like you're dealing with true safari experts. It is clear that all Emmanuel cares about is for you having a blast of time and creating a great experience. Whether it is patiently waiting for another herd of elephants to pass by or just that one little bird with the beautiful feathers. That all with great respect for nature and with your safety first in mind.

We had an amazing 5-day safari with Get Together Adventures and our fantastic guide (and owner) Emmanuel. Our journey took us through Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and the rainforest of Lake Manyara National Park — each destination more impressive than the last.
We were lucky enough to spot the Big 5, the Ugly 5 and so much more. Emmanuel handled every detail flawlessly. From transfers and accommodation to delicious food, everything was perfectly organized and completely stress-free.

Excellent Safari Company...the best there is!
We had an incredible journey with Get Together Adventures in Tanzania, based in Arusha. The trip was perfectly organized, with excellent lodges and breathtaking safaris in several stunning national parks.
Our professional safari guide Emmanuel (and owner of Get Together Adventures) was truly the best guide we could have hoped for — incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife, animal behavior, and also a lot of knowledge about birdlife! On top of that, he was extremely service-oriented, a pleasure to travel with, great safari car and always at the right place at exactly the right time.

An incredible Experience
I recently completed a 5-night, 6-day safari with Get Together visiting four different areas, and I can confidently say it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the entire experience was handled with the utmost professionalism. Our guide, Emmanuel, was incredibly knowledgeable and eager to share insights about the wildlife and local culture. His passion and expertise truly enhanced the journey.
Although we stayed in midrange accommodations, they felt absolutely luxurious—clean, comfortable, and staffed by kind, attentive people who made us feel right at home.
One especially thoughtful moment was on the last day when Emmanuel went out of his way to help us find items at the local market. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot and showed the personal care and attention that defined the entire trip.
We also had a chance to visit the Get Together office, and everyone we met there was positive, welcoming, and professional. It gave us even more confidence in the company we had chosen.
The safari itself was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We had close encounters with elephants and lions, yet we always felt completely safe and secure in the well-equipped jeep. Every day brought a new highlight, and we left with memories we’ll treasure forever.

🌍 Country #62 — and what an unforgettable one!
After traveling to over 60 countries, I thought I’d seen it all—but my trip with Get Together Adventures to Tanzania absolutely blew me away.
A safari has been on my bucket list for years, and this journey through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and the iconic Serengeti was everything I dreamed of and more.
From majestic lions lounging in the golden grass to massive herds of elephants, hippos cooling off in the water, elegant giraffes, wildebeest migrations and my all-time favorite—warthogs—this safari was a wildlife lover’s dream. (Warthogs running with their tails straight up? Cutest thing ever!)
Our guide Emmanuel was outstanding—so knowledgeable about every animal we encountered. He could tell us their lifespans, social behaviors, feeding habits, even how to spot males vs. females. Every game drive felt like a masterclass in nature.
After the wild came the relaxation: Zanzibar. We explored the cultural charm of Stone Town on foot with our wonderful guide Silas, then spent a picture-perfect day on the water with Safari Blue—swimming , sailing, and soaking in the Indian Ocean magic.

Hakuna Matata!
We had the most amazing experience with Get Together Adventures! Savilinyi and Emmanuel and the whole team were welcoming and professional. Their attention to detail was impressive. They also really took the time to get to know us.
One of the special touches was the room we were given at the Pazuri Inn. Each room had animal names and they had asked our daughter her favorite animal (cheetah) and then we ended up in the cheetah room which made it extra special for her.
Our Safari guide Emanuel was awesome! On the first day, he gave us a thorough orientation showing us a map of Tanzania and explaining the places we were going to visit which was super helpful. His "pole pole" approach (taking it slow) to the safari made it feel relaxing and yet we discovered so much. He made sure we were comfortable and learned about the animals and appreciated the birds! Whenever we spotted something new, he would pull over, find the best spot for photos, and search through his book to help us learn more about it.
The safari vehicle was comfortable and had plenty of space, a fridge full of drinks, a trash container and good windows and seats. Emanuel kept the vehicle spotless, cleaning it every evening so it was fresh for the next day’s adventure.
His knowledge about the animals and the places we were going to visit was also really impressive and if he wasn’t sure about something he always took the time to find the answer. He also took the time to make sure our daughter felt included and understood everything along the way which really made us feel so happy and comfortable.
This trip was really unforgettable and we are already planning our next adventure back to Tanzania. Asante Sana to the Get Together Adventures team, we can't wait to come back!

Everything with Get Together Adventures has been pure magic right from the start in the planning phase. The entire experience was seamlessly organized, deeply enriching, and truly "hakuna matata"...stress-free and joyful from start to finish!
Savi, Emmanuel, and the GTA team took exceptional care of us every step of the way. We highly recommend booking your adventure with them - you will certainly not be disappointed!
From our initial communication during the planning process with Savi, her professionalism and attention to detail was incredible as we had lots of pre-departure questions and needed some help with the visa process. Each email we received was kind, thoughtful, and thorough. She was on top of everything and fantastic to communicate with, cannot say enough good things about her!
Then there is Emmanuel - truly a world class guide and human! His passion for what he does shines through in everything, from his deep respect for wildlife and the land to the genuine warmth he shares. It’s clear this isn’t just a job to him; it’s a calling, and it makes all the difference.
Not only was our itinerary carefully and intentionally planned out, but each day was thoughtfully paced - never rushed, never dragging for our family. We had time to truly soak in the beauty around us and see so many animals while still covering so much ground. GTA clearly puts care into understanding each guest's needs and interests and adapts accordingly.
The luxury Land Cruiser was spotless each morning and organized, it felt like safari magic. Snacks were always plentiful, bathroom breaks and lunch stops were perfectly planned, and all logistics were clearly communicated in a relaxed way. Emmanuel kept us informed along the way about the plan/timing and made sure we were safe, comfortable, and having fun throughout the entire journey.
A standout moment for us was when I unexpectedly needed medical attention for my eye one morning. I messaged them early at 7AM and both Savi and Emmanuel responded immediately and acted swiftly, got us to a local hospital first thing, helped me through the quick intake process, and made sure I received care quickly and without stress. Savi was on WhatsApp providing moral support from the office. The rest of the day was flawlessly adjusted to continue with our original itinerary. I work in travel and we also travel a lot as a family and you can tell A LOT about an organization and staff by how they handle the unexpected. GTA proved to be flexible, compassionate, and completely on top of everything. We were highly impressed!
One of the greatest gifts of this trip was how much we learned! Emmanuel’s encyclopedic knowledge of wildlife, birds, landscapes, the people, and language, you name it - he just shared so much with us, but in the most humble way! He had thorough answers to our never ending questions about a variety of topics. The few times he did not know an answer, he looked them up on his phone or in his wildlife books, showing just how committed he is to being an excellent guide. We also didn’t expect to become birders on this trip haha but Emmanuel's passion for birds is contagious and now we are hooked!
We saw countless animals (including 4 of the Big 5!) and our understanding and appreciation of the natural world deepened immensely in just one week, but what truly elevated our adventure was Emmanuel’s kindness and attentiveness to our 6-year-old daughter. He was patient, engaging, and made her feel like the most important explorer on safari. Thanks to him, our time in Tanzania became a magical family experience that we will absolutely never forget.
We’re already planning to return to Tanzania to explore the Serengeti with GTA!
