Amazing!
It was an incredible experience. Sospetre is a fantastic guide—you can tell he knows the safari extremely well, and at the same time he genuinely enjoys sharing anecdotes and interesting facts about the animals and the history of his country.
He also provides binoculars and a camera, and is always attentive, making sure you are as comfortable as possible. He is very punctual, and with him you can completely forget about any kind of problem. It was clear that the people in the park knew him and welcomed him warmly.
We were left wanting to come back and do it all over again!

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! 🌍🦁 From the moment we were picked up, everything was smooth, professional, and incredibly well organized. The guide of the day was not only friendly but highly knowledgeable — he knew exactly where to find the wildlife and made sure the game drive was exciting.
We saw lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos and so much more, all while enjoying stunning landscapes and great hospitality. You can tell this team genuinely cares about giving guests the best possible VIP experience.

We are so glad we found this company. A dream come true.
I wanted to make an in depth review for my amazing trip with Eliteways Travel and Safaris. I want to really focus on the service, since other reviews give great details about their specific safaris. I will say Eliteway Travels offers an amazing array of safaris, and they will tailor your trip to your wants and needs.
First, I want to thank Sospeter and Susan for setting up our dream adventure, and accommodating us the whole way. Susan and Sospeter picked us up from the airport after 11:30 pm, and even took us to a quick restaurant on the way to our hotel so our kids could have dinner (of course, not many kids are wild about airplane food), and they never once complained about the time. We got checked into our hotel close to 01:00 am, and quickly went to bed to rest before our early start.
The first full day started early because we had a 7 hour drive to our first location. Sospeter had many stops planned along the route for bathroom breaks and gift shops. We checked into our hotel after the lunch hour, but Sospeter worked with the staff to get us a quick meal. After we ate, we took our first game-drive and saw so many amazing animals. Sospeter knew of my obsession with giraffes and made sure to locate as many as he could. We were beyond amazed by his knowledge of animal behaviors and activities. He laughed with us as we marveled at his knowledge on animal poop, as he pointed out elephant droppings and telling us how old it was. We found week old droppings, and as soon as he found some that were about an hour old, he knew he was on the right track. We couldn’t help but laugh at this, but it quickly turned to amazement as we rounded a corner and a huge elephant walked right next to us! Sospeter also took his time so we could take as many photos as we wanted, even later pulling over on an active road so we could marvel at a huge herd of camels, and later baboons, walking by the road.
A few days later, we headed to our next location. Once again, plenty of toilet breaks on the way, and even a quick stop at a small shopping mall. Sospeter set up a picnic overlooking a gorgeous lake, and took plenty of photos for us all. We went on an amazing game drive, locating a ton of animals. I still can’t believe Sospeter’s eyesight. He would point to something in the distance and tell us what to look for, while my whole family and I looked on in confusion. Sospeter would get us much closer, and lo and behold, there were beautiful animals grazing along the trees and fields. Sospeter, and other tour companies, were all great sports in sharing locations of animals they found so that other groups could enjoy the animals we/they passed. There was a slight mix-up with our room at the second location, but Sospeter worked his magic and got us an amazing family suite. Off to the third location we went.
The third location (Masai Mara) was beyond amazing! The game drives were not only amazing, with a ton of gorgeous animals, but we got to partake in a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the fields. Sospeter, leading up to the trip, did his absolute best putting my mind at ease in regards to my fear of heights and this excursion. The hot air balloon ride was so calm and easy that I didn’t even realize we had left the ground 100 feet earlier. The pilot was very caring to my nervous children, and was happy to take photos and give my son extra high-fives. Sospeter also took some photos of us from the ground, so we have great memories from all around. After the balloon ride, we had a phenomenal breakfast in the middle of the bush.
One thing I want to add, as a parent, our childrens’ safety is the most important things to us. My son had a hand injury our last full day there. Luckily, the resort had a doctor on site, and he was able to see my son, free of charge I might add. The doctor was very concerned about a broken bone, and recommended we leave and head to Nairobi to visit a hospital. We contacted Sospeter to let him know what was going on, and he went right into work mode. He called every person he could think of to make sure we all made the best decision in regards to my son’s treatment. Sospeter called multiple hospitals, even getting a friend to drive to a hospital when he couldn’t get in touch with a doctor. At around 5:30 pm, we decided to drive 2-hours to the nearest largest city to get treatment, never hearing a complaint from Sospeter with needing to drive. Thankfully, Sospeter was able to locate a local clinic about 30 minutes away that had X-ray capabilities, and we were able to finish our night out in the Masai Mara.
The day we flew out, Sospeter and Susan took us to Carnivore, a delicious restaurant (Americans, think of a Brazilian Steakhouse). It was the perfect end to an amazing trip.
Finally, I really want to emphasize the level of service we received from Sospeter. I mentioned to him that I collect rocks (yes, kinda nerdy, I know :) ) and pointed to some lava rocks along the path. Sospeter immediately put the truck in park, jumped out, and grabbed me a handful of rocks. He even walked along the road and picked up any rock I pointed to so I could add it to my collection. Keep in mind, this was in the middle of the bush where lions and hyenas were running around. A+++ for service.

Great Variety, Knowledgeable Guide, Luxury Accommodations, and Fantastic Value!
My family and I had the pleasure of taking a 6 day/7 night safari tour with Eliteways Travel and Safaris. We spent months tailoring their luxury safari tour to our specific preferences and we were not disappointed!
The first leg started in Samburu. The resort they reserved for us (Sarova Shaba Game Lodge) was amazing! The food, grounds, and room were impressive! We had a family suite that had plenty of room for my family. We loved the fish therapy, which was a fun, unique, and free experience. We did multiple safari drives while there and saw almost all of the “Special Five” animals for that region of Kenya (above the Equator). Sospeter, our guide and owner of Eliteways, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife in the region. He always seemed to know where to find the animals we were interested in and his vision in spotting animals from a distance was incredible. We saw an elephant, gerenuks, baboons, numerous types of antelopes.
Our second stop was Lake Nakuru and we stayed at the Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. The room and grounds were top notch! We stayed in a Ziwa suite and it was incredibly roomy and well appointed for my family (2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms). The food was amazing and had a wonderful selection. As for the safari drive, the Lake Nakuru Natural Park had an excellent variety of animals to see. The park also serves as rhino sanctuary and we were not disappointed! We saw at least 8 endangered black rhinos, giraffes, and multiple other animals. Once again, Sospeter worked his magic and found amazing spots to view the animals in close proximity to the vehicle.
Our final stop was the famous Masai Mara. We stayed at the Sarova Mara Game Camp. We had the pleasure of staying in a luxury family tent (essentially two connected tents) with a wonderful common living room area and an amazing back porch that oversaw the local area and nearby river. The food and activities were excellent. We enjoyed the pool and had fun trying archery for the first time. The game drives proved why this nature reserve is so famous! We saw numerous lions, a cheetah, and large numbers of elephants and giraffes. Sospeter also planned a balloon safari (possibly my favorite of the safari) where we saw countless elephants, giraffes, hyenas, buffaloes, and antelope herds. The view was amazing and was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. On the ground, Sospeter found a place where a pack of lions recently took down a buffalo and learned how numerous species share the food.
On the way back to Nairobi before flying out, we did a boat tour in Lake Naivasha (a great spot for seeing hippos and numerous birds). We also got to see Crescent Island, which was part of the setting in the movie Out of Africa. Multiple animals species inhabit the island (hippos, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, etc.) that you can see clearly from the boat. Before all was said and done, got to visit the Giraffe Center in Nairobi to see and feed a number of endangered Rothschild giraffes.
Overall, my family and I had an amazing time! The accommodations and safari locations exceeded our expectations. I also can’t say enough about Sospeter and his team. They helped us plan an amazing safari and their knowledge and love for safaris really came through while on the game drives.
This was my family’s first time doing a safari and visiting Kenya and I will certainly return. There are hundreds of safari tour operators in Kenya and I really feel like we found the best company in Eliteways. They really took the time to tailor a comprehensive and varied safari package to our needs which I also thought was a wonderful value. Give Eliteways a chance and I’m certain you will have the safari experience of a lifetime!

It was terrific!
The tour was exceptional. My guide Sospeter is a funny witty and knowledgeable man who really knows his way around the parks and he provides insightful information about the animals we saw. And my trip culminated when I finally caught a glimpse of Kilimonjoro after a long day of worrying I might miss it because of the weather. It was Sospeter's superb driving skill and dedication that made this happen.
