Incredible experience, professionally organized.
Our experience with Tilman Safari was great. From the moment we got in contact with them, they were very responsive and provided multiple options for our mount Kenya trek. We got picked up in Mombasa and met the group on the way. Our two guides, Anthony and Leonard were very prepared and extremely nice. We were a group of 6 people and enjoyed every single day. I would recommend this experience to anyone! Make sure to bring a day backpack on top of your normal backpack. Last but not least, be aware that tipping is expected (it might be different from your country of origin).

Reliable guides,well- organised and extremely fun experience!
We had an incredible time hiking Mount Kenya. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and the atmosphere within the group was amazing. Our two guides were not only very experienced and reliable, but also genuinely fun to be around, making every part of the trek enjoyable. The porters were equally fantastic: super friendly, supportive, and always bringing great energy to the team. Even on the toughest day the summit push, they looked after us so well, encouraging us, checking in constantly, and making sure we reached the top safely and confidently. Truly an unforgettable adventure!

Great experience, super beautiful hike. The guides and porters are well equipped and experienced. The food was great and always perfect prepared. Even with a height sickness they managed the situation very well and brought me safe to the next hut. Cool experience, really recommendable.

Tillman Tour trys to get your journey es comfortable as possible. All meeting times were perfect, the guide Bernard and the porters were so perfect in there work. Best Mount Kenia Tour
Charles organised our tour perfectly from the pickup to the dropoff. For the mount Kenia hike we a whole team with guides, a cook and porters. Everyone was very kind and wanted to ensure an unforgettable experience. Our guides were very knowlegeable and told us a lot about the wildlife and plants of the National Park. We camped surrounded by beautiful nature and even spotted an elephant in the camp after the first night. Also the food was very delicious and exceeded our expectations. Overall, we can highly recommend Tilman Safaris.

Tillman’s offer fantastic and reliable tour services and great communication.
We first did a Mount Kenya tour for 4-5 days, the guides and porters were amazing and the food was great and we were all able to reach the summit with the help of Antony and Leonard guiding us.
Charles at Tillman’s then sorted us out an amazing Safari in Ol Pejeta where we stayed at Maisha Sweetwaters camp, everything was perfect.

Was a pleasure to work with Charles who was very efficient and responded quickly and in detail to my inquiries. Being from the US and our first trip to Kenya, he patiently answered all my queries and assisted us in putting together our week long trip to Aberdare National Park, Solio conservancy, Nairobi and Amboseli. His guide cum driver Alvin was an absolute gem! Met us at the hotel on time, drove us everywhere for the next 8 days, was very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Charles himself joined us on a part of our tour and between them gave us a comprehensive, entertaining and spectacular view of this amazing country and its people. The Safari jeep was clean and well maintained and this team was resourceful and networked with others to make sure we had unforgettable experiences. From private ranger-accompanied hikes to several waterfalls in Aberdare, beautiful sightings of Mt. Kenya, (while we don’t do a hike to Mt Kenya, it is one of Charle’s specialties) amazing wildlife sightings and learning in Solio conservancy with it’s unbelievable numbers of Rhino, to the elephant families of Amboseli and just to many types of antelopes, hyenas, jackals and more to list! Add to that a memorable night safari! He provided me with references, certifications, adjusting to my budget, and importantly, prompt payment receipts that eased my worry in wiring deposit money to someone I had no previous personal connection with. Thank you Charles, it’s my pleasure to highly recommend you.

Tilman Safaris with the best team & service.
We can highly recommend Tilman Safaris. The team is great, we had an amazing time hiking up to the Point Lenana summit of Mount Kenya.
We were a bit scared of the altitude sickness, that’s why we decided for the 5 days tour which was a good decision, also to acclimate ourselves to the altitude. Of course we felt some symptoms like headache or stomach issues, but we did it!!! Hiking up to the summit was very exhausting, really hard and it shouldn’t be underestimated, but to reach the top was an amazing feeling. It only took us 500 breaks in between :P
And the Tilman Safaris team was helping us a lot with reaching the top: We felt so welcome by Charles who was perfect in communication & organizing everything for us. Anthony & Leonard as our guides who did an amazing job guiding us to the summit. George cooked so good food for us and the porters were carrying so much on their backs to bring everything to the next camps. They were amazing!!!! We‘ll never forget Alfred who was the master in racing to the next camps.
The whole team provided us with the best service and solved all of our problems that we had. As an example: After one hike we were so wet due to the rain and the whole team was doing a fire for us in the evening to dry all of our wet clothes.

Well organised, excellent service and above all a very informative driver
Our Safari experience was absolutely unforgettable. Everything was organised with care and attention. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife.
We were lucky enough to see four out of the big five along with other countless animals in their natural habitats. The driver was respectful toward the environment and animals. Overall the Safari was the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation and discovery. We highly recommend Tilman Safari.
