The Mara Wanderlust (Naomi) had organised our tours perfectly, taking care for our personal requirement and preferences.
Everything was well organised and arranged by our guide/driver.
Special thanks to Mike and Glen for their knowledge of Masai mara landscapes and animal sightings.
The full trip was comfortable and has provided memorable moments for my family.

An exciting Kenya Safari
5/5

We booked with Mara Wanderlust for a Kenya Safari in November, and it was wonderful. My fiancé and I wanted to do a pre-wedding safari, and Kenya stood out for us. Their agent, Vincent, helped us choose a safari that ticked all our boxes. We flew into Mara and stayed at Mara Serena Lodge. The game drives were so magical. We had lots of surprises too, which made this safari a special moment for us. We loved the experience and would definitely recommend the Mara Wanderlust.

it was an excellent experience and knowledgeable tour guide
5/5

This was our first trip to kenya and being India, we were not very sure of what yo expect.
During our complete tour booking, Naomi was very helpful in guiding us with routes, hotels and complete experiences.

Naomi was there at the airport to welcome us from India, alongwith our tour guide Glenn.

Once we embarked on our trip, Glenn made sure that he makes the trip adventurous yet safe. He informed us about every place and details regarding the itinerary. In all our game drives (we did amboseli-naivasha-nakuru-masai mara), his eye for spotting birds and animals was amazing. He knew about the variety of birds, animals and the rich traditions of kenya.

It was a truly amazing experience and would love to come back to see kenya with Mara Wanderlust. Thanks Naomi and Glenn.

Professional
5/5

We arrived in the UK on Friday following our long holiday in Kenya during the festive season. And I must say our expectations were high when booking our Kenya Safari and Vincent exceeded it.

He understood the places we wanted to visit and answered all our questions well. We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli together with my family and it was nothing short of memorable.

The hotels he chose for us were luxurious and the food was amazing.

We would definitely recommend Mara Wanderlust.

A Journey of Triumph and Discovery: My NCLEX Adventure in Nairobi

The afternoon I arrived in Nairobi, I was filled with a mix of nerves and excitement. I had flown thousands of miles to take my NCLEX exam in the vibrant heart of Kenya, knowing that the outcome of this test would determine the next chapter of my nursing career. The city was bustling, full of life and color, and I couldn't help but feel the weight of what lay ahead. But beyond the exam, Nairobi had so much to offer, and I had already made plans to explore after the test.

The day of the exam arrived, and though my heart raced, I took a deep breath and reminded myself that this moment was the culmination of years of hard work. The exam center was well-organized, and the staff made sure I felt comfortable despite my nerves. I entered the exam room with focus, and as I sat down, I knew that this test, though daunting, was simply the next step in a journey I had already begun.

Hours later, when I finally clicked "Submit," there was a mix of relief and uncertainty. I left the exam center not knowing the result but knowing I had done my best. The only thing I wanted now was to explore Nairobi, to shake off the tension and immerse myself in the natural beauty the city had to offer. And little did I know, the adventure that awaited would be just as memorable as the exam itself.

My first stop was Nairobi National Park, a place where the wild meets the city. Just a few miles from the skyscrapers, I found myself surrounded by vast open plains, dotted with giraffes, zebras, and the occasional lion lounging in the sun. The contrast of wildlife against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline was surreal. I stood there for a long time, taking it all in—the sounds, the sights, the thrill of being so close to animals in their natural habitat. It was like stepping into another world, one that made me feel small but infinitely connected to the earth.

Same day, I visited the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a sanctuary for orphaned elephants, and it quickly became one of the most heartwarming moments of my trip. The baby elephants, with their oversized ears and playful personalities, stole my heart. I watched as they drank milk from giant bottles, their trunks playfully wriggling with excitement. The staff at the trust shared stories of these elephants’ journeys, how they had been rescued from poaching or other dangers, and were now being nurtured to return to the wild. It was a reminder of both the fragility and resilience of nature, and I left feeling deeply moved by the experience.

But my adventures didn’t stop there. The Giraffe Center was next on my list, and it was like stepping into a dream. I had the chance to feed the endangered Rothschild giraffes, their long necks leaning down to take the food from my hand. The sheer gentleness of these magnificent creatures left me in awe. Their soft eyes and graceful movements were a calming contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city.

By the time I returned to my hotel, the weight of the NCLEX exam felt like a distant memory. The city, the wildlife, the energy, and the sense of peace that came from being surrounded by nature had grounded me. It was as if the universe had conspired to offer me a perfect balance—work and play, challenge and reward.

When the moment of truth finally arrived, I checked my results on November 17, 2025—and I passed! The relief and joy that washed over me were indescribable, but deep down, I knew the true reward of this journey wasn’t just in the success of the exam. It was in the experiences, the memories I had made, and the reminder that life is a blend of hard work and moments of wonder.

Nairobi had given me the chance to not only achieve my professional goal but also to reconnect with nature, to witness the beauty of life in all its forms. And as I boarded my flight back home, I knew that this trip would forever be etched in my heart, as the one where I passed my NCLEX and experienced the wild soul of Nairobi. Thank you so much Mara Wanderlust specially Naomi💞

We had a lovely safari with Mara Wanderlust and would definitely do it again
5/5

We had a wonderful safari in Kenya with Mara Wanderlust. I had been to Kenya before in 2019 but wanted to visit for a second time with my wife. Vincent was patient to listen to what kind of safari we wanted and helped us create a custom itinerary. He suggested fly-in safaris to reduce fatigue as we wanted Masai Mara and Amboseli. Entim Mara was fantastic! My wife loved the food, the views and of course the people! We would definitely recommend the Mara Wanderlust.

Amazing Safari Experience
5/5

We planned our first trip to Africa with The Mara Wanderlust and it was one of the best ever experiences we have ever had. We bumped into The Mara Wanderlust ad when searching for safari packages online and filled the online form.

Their safari specialist, Vincent, helped us plan the 8 day safari in Kenya. We were able to learn alot about the attractions in Kenya and so make informed choices on the places we would love to visit.

Being in different time zones, I appreciated him being responsive sometimes at odd hours on their end. No message went unanswered for more than 30 minutes.

And when we touched down in Nairobi, we were treated to a wonderful surprise. A gift hamper with special items to help make our stay in Kenya enjoyable.

The hotels we were booked were amazing. From the house in Nairobi all the way to Shaba. The camp in Mara was the best, Andbeyond Kichwa Tembo. I would definitely go back there, next time.

The driver guide, James, was also knowledgeable about the wildlife and very kind. He made the safari experience wonderful.

We would definitely recommend The Mara Wanderlust as your go to agency for Kenya Safaris.

Absolutely loved the safari experience that Mara Wanderlust gave us! From start to finish everything was seamless. The owner, Vincent, was patient to understand what we wanted and he deliveres beyond our expectations. We were a family of 5, my husband, my sister and our 2 kids. Vincent was able to arrange a smooth safari from the moment we touched down at JKIA at night and slept at Nairobi before proceeding to Samburu, Olpejeta, Nakuru all the way to Mara. It was a great Kenya adventure! We highly recommend The Mara Wanderlust!

A memorable first time African Safari..
5/5

The Mara Wanderlust helped us organize our 11 day Kenya Safari in September and it was nothing short of great. The agent, Vincent, was responsive throughout the planning process and even during our safari in Kenya. This being our first African safari, we really loved it. We will definitely book with mara wonderlust again. We wish them all the best!
