My teenage daughter & I experienced our first safari in Tanzania, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, this journey was nothing short of extraordinary – a once-in-a-lifetime adventure made unforgettable by an exceptional guide.
The 7-day safari tour through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and Lake Manyara was outstanding, offering breathtaking landscapes and an extraordinary diversity of wildlife. Each day brought new highlights, and magical, cinematic moments. The lodges, accommodation, and food were carefully selected and of very high quality – including a surprise visit from a hippo right outside our tent at night.
Our guide, Godfrey, was simply exceptional. His deep knowledge of wildlife, animal behavior, ecosystems, and Tanzania’s natural heritage transformed each game drive into a rich and engaging learning experience. Beyond his professionalism, calm presence and expertise, what truly sets him apart is his cultural sensitivity and deep connection to local communities. He is highly respected, well connected, and genuinely committed to opening doors and supporting local people.
A personal highlight was our visit to a local school in Arusha, where we were invited to join a reading class and share lunch with the children – an enriching experience that added a powerful dimension to our trip. An intense, authentic experience, perfectly organized from start to finish.
Ours was a 5 full-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, an outstanding itinerary that allowed us to experience the true heart of Tanzania and witness an extraordinary variety of wildlife in breathtaking natural settings.
Godfrey is an extremely knowledgeable, serious, and professional guide, with deep experience in wildlife and safaris in general. His understanding of the territory, animal behavior, and natural dynamics truly makes a difference and turns each day into a unique and engaging experience.

A dream safari!
Our safari was a dream come true! Godfry, our fantastic guide made the experience even better. By sharing his knowledge of the country, culture, and most importantly, the wildlife! We always felt safe and he showed great respect for the wildlife. He proved to be an expert guide & spotter, ensuring we saw the Big 5 and more! He ensured we had time to patiently & quietly view and photograph never rushing us. Every day he had the jeep ready, clean and was on time to start our daily game drives.

We had very good safari with Godfrey, he has a lot of experience and he knew where he could find something interesting and which opportunities were worth chasing. Food was nice and in European style, I was suprised you can eat celery soup on safari.

Our wonderful safari with Godfrey and Alisha took us across Lake Manyara National Park, through the Serengeti and the extraordinary Ngorongoro Crater, and to the impressive Mara River. Godfrey is a very friendly, patient, and experienced tour guide. He speaks very good, understandable English and always took plenty of time to explain all the sights. He was always very patient with us so that we could take wonderful and unforgettable photos. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to see the Big 5 and all the other wonderful animals of the Serengeti, and we thank him warmly for the trip to the Maasai village.
Our overnight stays in the lodges were always an additional highlight of our trip. The crowning glory was our incomparable camping stay in the Serengeti, right next to the lions.

It was perfect in every possible way! Thanks to our guide Godfrey (Marifa) who was incredibly knowledgeable and deeply passionate about the land and wildlife, his insights brought every game drive to life.
We were lucky to witness all the big 5s, the Great Migration, countless lions up close, elegant giraffes, playful elephants, leopard lounging in a tree and even a rare glimpse of a baby rhino with his momy. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking — endless golden plains and magical sunsets that looked like paintings.
