Unforgettable Gorilla Safari Experience with Bugoli
We had an amazing experience with Bugoli on our gorilla safari in Uganda. Everything was perfectly organized, from start to finish. We began our journey in Entebbe and ended in Kigali, crossing borders smoothly and without any stress.
The highlight of the trip was, of course, trekking to see the silverback gorillas — an absolutely unforgettable, emotional, and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Bugoli handled all the logistics professionally, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment.
A special mention goes to our driver, Silver, who made the journey even better. He was fun, kind, knowledgeable, and always made us feel safe and comfortable. His good energy and sense of humor added so much to the experience.

Kind and Knowledgeable
This was truly an unforgettable experience! The company and my tour guide, Emma, went above and beyond to ensure I had a great trip! Communication was easy and the price for the experience was worth every penny! Day one and two were jam-packed with animal sightings! One of the highlights of my trip was the boat ride on the first day! The food and accommodations were also fantastic! I couldn’t recommend this more!

Amazing Experience with Bugoli Adventures
I had an amazing gorilla trekking experience with Bugoli Adventures! I did the 2-Day Gorilla Trek in Bwindi, with pick up from Kigali. Michael, the owner of Bugoli Adventures, was very helpful and responsive in communicating and answering any questions I had prior to the trip. I also appreciate that he was able to secure me a gorilla trekking permit in less than a week prior to my expected trip, since I booked it late. On the day of the trip, my guide, Silver, picked me up from my hotel and was right on time. Silver was a great guide, and was a very friendly and genuine person. He was also very experienced and knowledgeable. The whole trip went smoothly. They booked a great lodge that provided all the meals during the trip. Additionally, they offered me the option to visit the Batwa pygmies the day before the trek, which I greatly appreciated. The gorilla trek itself (which is operated by Bwindi Forest Park Rangers) was amazing.
What sets Bugoli Adventures apart from other tour companies is its affordability for solo travelers such as myself. Given that the gorilla trekking permit itself costs $800, this is an already expensive tour at baseline. If you directly reach out to Michael/Bugoli Adventures instead of purchasing from GetYourGuide, you can negotiate the cost of the trip by changing some parameters, such as electing to stay at a cheaper hotel. The price I paid was amazing, and what I would have expected if I had split the trip with several people.
