Amazing experience
Despite a last-minute booking, John's responsiveness was outstanding. Everything was superbly managed. Our driver, Tchado, is a true professional and enabled us to see the Big Five on our very first outing. We even got to witness some hunting scenes up close... I highly recommend him.

Nairobi NP is amazing!
A wonderful day lead by an expert guide. As promised all park fees were included. Must say however that I was a little disappointed with both the elephant orphanage and the giraffe center (a 100’ long raised path that allowed us to fed the three giraffes). The national park was wonderful with a good assortment of animals easily observed.

Very good tour operator
I booked a 3-day, 2-night Masai Mara safari with Meterai Safaris and it was an amazing experience! The team is very friendly, attentive, responsive, and responsive. We were very well looked after, the camp was excellent, and the safari was magnificent! I would book again without hesitation!
A huge thank you to the entire Meterai Safaris team for making my dream come true.
I recommend them 100%!

FAST AND 100% RELIABLE
A great option for a safari, with prices to suit your needs. We spent 10 days in Kenya and Tanzania, and it was fantastic. You can choose a customized safari or book an organized tour. They offer different price options to suit your budget.

Peter is the best and friendliest Guide.
We booked a 3-day budget safari to the Masai Mara, and it was a truly memorable experience. Everything was well organized from start to finish. The team was flexible and considerate of our individual wishes — including a visit to a local Masai village we were interested in.
Our guide, Peter, took great care of us throughout the trip. He made sure we were comfortable, informed, and most importantly, happy.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for an affordable yet authentic safari adventure!

It was an amazing tour. I had so much fun.
I had such a great time.
You drove us around the park so that we could see many animals and also gave us lots of explanations about them.
It was an amazing tour.

Driver: unpuncture and racist behavior
My driver Sal** was late for the departure in the morning. I had to wait 25 minutes in the morning and two other guests even waited for an hour.
After the tour, on our way back to the drop off (individual lunch), the driver kept on insisted that I get off the car and walk even before arriving the final destination because there is traffic jam and he was unhappy with it. It was a 10 minutes walk. I was okay with walking but there were 3 guests out of 4, including me, who were going to the same destination.
So I told him nicely, even if I get off here, he has to go through all this traffic jam anyways, since two other people are also going to the same place and they are not willing to walk.
However he kept insisting only at me to get off the car because apparently I was the only Asian guest. He kept making gestures showing complaints, kept turning off/on the car engine, and asked “have you made up your mind to get off here?”.
He was clearly discriminative because he didn’t say anything at two other Kenyan guests who were heading to the same destination. I was very upset that the other Kenyan guests even apologized instead for his behavior on behalf of all the Kenyan people.
This has been my third safari tour in Kenya/ fifth in East Aftica and he has been the worst driver ever.
John, who was in charge of the booking was trying to be helpful and was apologetic when I called him about this issue. However, I would like to hear clear follow up measures on how you would deal with this issue and the driver.

Great nature experience with Chris!
This was our first time visiting Safari, and we cannot choose better. Our driver and guide in one person Chris got our completely trust from the very beginning. We believed him after those years of doing this job in every decision he made. With Chris you can be sure you will see all animals who are possible to see under the circumstances. He was very proffesional and kind. The only thing we would mention as negative is the lack of drinking water per person. One liter per day when you are whole day in Safari is not enough. But of course you can buy your own water in camp.
