Just Amazing đ
I contacted them at the very last minute before my trip to Kenya, and they organized everything very quickly. Everything went smoothly, and my safari with Gordon was perfect. I thank them for this incredible experience, as I had dreamed of going on safari in Kenya since I was a little girl, and they made it possible. A serious, reliable agency that listens and adapts to its clients.

An amazing knowledgeable guide and an overall unforgettable experience with animals & accommodation
Firstly all the communications before travelling were excellent and clear. Our guide was Eric and he was an incredibly knowledgeable young man, who not only gave us exceptional information about all the animals and birds, but also was very well informed about lots of social and cultural subjects in Kenya which made the drives very interesting. He always had the vehicle spotless for us and made lots of accommodations for my 9 year old - who loved him so much he made a Minecraft version of the car and Eric! We saw a huge range of animals, Eric was a great driver - we felt like we were on a true adventure yet felt safe the whole time. Both the Hunters Luxury Camp and Voi Safari lodge were amazing. Both stunning in their own ways. Hunters was beautiful with stunning camp rooms and great pool, Voi has this cool tunnel where you can get incredibly close to the animals at the watering hole. My son loved all the hyrax, monkeys and lizards around the place as well!
There was an ample selection of food options and we even had a picnic one of the longer days which was excellent. Service everywhere was friendly and relaxed but ultimately the scenery, flora and fauna stole the show. Eric stopped for every bird we spotted which my son loved and he had a story for everything we saw. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Excellent experience from start to finish
Our 6 day private safari with Mateo Travel and Adventure was an excellent experience right from the start. Patrick promptly responded to our initial request for information with a range of accommodations for each of the parks we wanted to visit. He answered all our questions quickly and we picked the combination that suited our budget. Once we confirmed the final proposal, everything went smoothly, from our initial pickup, the train ride to the first park, and meeting our guide.
Eric, our guide, was outstanding! He has great knowledge about the animals and his ability to spot them in the distance was amazing. He was also a very good and careful driver, both in the parks and on the highway back to Nairobi on our last day. Always good natured, calm and polite. We enjoyed chatting with him and learned so much not only about the parks but also about Kenya in general.
We appreciate how professional and organized Mateo Adventures is and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Eric and Patrick!

Fantastic Safari With an Amazing Guide!
Mateo Travel and Adventure delivered an excellent and wellâorganized tailor-made safari experience. The itinerary was clear, detailed, and thoughtfully plannedâfrom Amboseliâs stunning views of Kilimanjaro to the dramatic landscapes of Tsavo East, exactly as described in their proposal.
A special shoutâout to Vincent, our guide, who made the trip unforgettable! His friendliness, positive attitude, and deep knowledge of wildlife and the parks elevated every game drive. He always made sure we were in the right place at the right time, and his enthusiasm was contagious!
The accommodations were comfortable and perfectly located, just as outlined in the itinerary.

We had a wonderful Safari
We had a wonderful Safari. Patrick made sure we get the accomodation we selected or if already fully booked suggested alternatives. All went very smoothly. Our driver and guide Simon made every effort to make sure we see a lot of animals during our 5 day safari from Amboseli, Tsavo West and East. He is so passionate about animals and gave us good photo shoots. Thanks to Simon, thanks to whole Mateo Team. We had a great time!

Our guide, Simon, was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful throughout the trip. Everything was perfectly organized, the accommodations, train arrangements, and driver all worked seamlessly together, which made the journey completely stress-free.

An exceptional safari and unforgettable memories
We spent an absolutely incredible 6 days/5 nights with Matheo Travel Adventure, exploring Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Taita Hills, and Amboseli. This safari was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end.
We saw an impressive number of animals and experienced some truly magical moments. The landscapes were magnificent, and each day brought its own unique emotions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Top quality organisation and delivery
I completed a three-day safari with Mateo Adventure from Nairobi to Amboseli and then to Tsavo East. From Tsavo East we continued by train to Mombasa and then on to Diani Beach.
Our guide Eric was supposed to pick us up at 8 a.m. on the agreed day. He arrived as early as 6:30 (and waited nearby) to make sure he would be there on time! We then set off for Amboseli and reached the park without any problems. We checked into the selected lodge, where everything was perfectly prepared. Amboseli was an amazing experience, also thanks to Eric. He knew the park very well and, thanks to his professional approach and experience, he understood exactly what visitors need. Our experience was wonderfulâwe saw many animals, including lions. Both of our game drives in the park were truly exceptional.
On the third day we headed to Tsavo East. I greatly appreciated Ericâs driving skills as well as his overall professionalism.
At Tsavo East, the accommodation again went smoothly and without any complications, followed by another game drive. Once more, I want to highlight Ericâs abilitiesâhe really did his best to make sure we had the best possible experience. And indeed, we saw many animals again, including lions with small cubs.
On the last day, Eric dropped us off at the train station. The journey to Mombasa went smoothly, and at the station another representative from the agency was already waiting for us and took us without any issues to our final destination at Diani Beach.
I highly appreciate the professional communication and overall organization handled by Patrickâeverything worked perfectly. Many thanks to Eric as well; I truly value his approach, professionalism, and knowledge. We received exactly what we had ordered, and the selected accommodations were also excellent.

Our tour guide was incredible
My friend and I struggled to figure out where and how we should book a safari. We landed here, and found Mateo.
We reached out for quotes which were promptly provided - and though we considered 2 other companies, the professionalism of the quotes and of Patrick stood out! We picked Mateo and we are so glad that we did :)
Everything was simple - we chose the quote we liked best and Patrick made everything easy to book. Then, we were picked up at the airport by Simon, our guide. He was so kind and helpful - knowledgeable, professional⌠I canât say enough good things about these 2!
On the safari itself, we got to eat delicious food, see different parts of the country, and get close to tons of incredible animals. Simon did an awesome job finding the best spots and sharing information about the animals.
When we come back to Kenya, we will definitely use Mateo Travel and Adventure. Highly recommend :)
