Amazing
The trip was really good. Communication was great, I got answers to all my questions within few minutes and the tour was exactly to the quote.
Our guide Dominic was perfect, very nice and he explained so much to all animals and the area. He is also a very good driver, the was a lot of flooded paths and mudd but it was no problem for him
We had a great time and we will neuer forget the trip

Better than I could have imagined
I solicited itineraries from several other companies and found that only Simbaland Magic could take me to all of the locations I wanted to see, within my budget. Our guide Jonathan was knowledgeable and calm throughout our safari. We loved it more than we could have ever imagined and plan to come back for another safari in the future!

Maria was our first point of contact, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was always attentive, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire process. Her guidance and dedication were truly fundamental in making everything run smoothly from the start.

Among the many travel agencies, we chose Simbaland Magic Tours, which is the most correct and wise decision we have made in Safari, Tanzania. From our smooth communication with Maria in the early stage, to determine the travel plan, to when we landed at Kilimanjaro Airport, they warmly picked up the plane, until the perfect arrangement of the daily itinerary, each link is interlocked, and the connection is very good. The guide Dominic is very experienced and drives a good off-road vehicle in good condition. He led our team of 6 people to experience the four-day original wildness, thrilling, and unforgettable Safari, the first day. In Taranregi National Park, we saw large pieces of baobab trees, hordes of elephants and zebras, and the next day we saw the hordes of African lions, lazy leopards, In the Sarengeti Prairie, we saw a magnificent wildebeest and a group of zebras, the last day on the Ngorongoro crater, the most lucky and thrilling day, the crater is like the earth of Eden in the crater. , It's so beautiful, we saw a group of pink flamingos, a rare black rhino, and a lion walking around our car, leisurely, this piece of soil is the real home of wild animals. A wonderful safari trip
The 7-day safari itinerary was very well-arranged. The guide (Penda) was excellent and helped us spot many animals. The food and accommodation were also great. The value for money was very high. We are grateful for the warm service and hospitality of the staff(Maria and others).

The reason we selected Simbaland was their strong communication, anchored by their point person Maria. As soon as I submitted the bid on Safari Bookings she responded. She quickly prepared quotes and adjusted our itinerary until we had mapped out the perfect safari for us. She was helpful on accommodating our special travel arrangements due to time. As an experienced African traveler, I know things can always go wrong so wanted a company that was responsive. On our trip, the logistics flowed smoothly. We had no issues with the transport. The lodging selections in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro were incredible; beautiful venues and friendly staff. Due to the time of year, we were during the Great Migration so the animal viewing was almost overwhelming. We were able to see the Big 5. My only advice would be if possible to not fit Serengeti and Ngorongoro into a 3 day/2 night block. We had no choice and do not regret it as the sights were incredible, but it was a lot of driving from Arusha. If you have specific interests such as birding or photography, make sure to communicate those to Maria so she can assist with the best guide for your interests. Overall the value was quite good, competitively priced for the bracket, the lodging was excellent, and Maria continued to anchor a supportive staff.

Seems okay
Among the agencies we found, Maria was the one who have shown patience and we felt safe with her guidance and recommendation. She arranged our trip with details and able to cope with our requirements. All the stays during the trip were excellent, there was one miscommunication during one of the stay but solved immediately. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the camp sites in the middle of the safari. There was no insects in the camp, which was one of our main concerns before deciding to go to Tanzania.
The car was a bit old comparing with others but comfortable enough with cushion on the seats to cope with the bumpy road. Our driver/ guide Penda is experienced and led us to see most of the animals we expected. The trip would be perfect if he could have a better attitude. He seems like a rigid dad with no smile, maybe it's cultural difference. Anyway, I have tried my best during the 8 days trip. Still, it is a good trip, I would recommend Simbaland to others.

A professional and well-organized tour operator
We had an amazing experience on this safari tour! Everything was perfectly organized, and the communication and arrangements with Marie were excellent – she was always helpful, responsive, and made the whole process smooth and easy.
We were especially lucky to have Erik as our driver. His experience and sharp eye made a huge difference, and he also had a great sense of humor. Thanks to him, we truly enjoyed every moment of the safari. Highly recommended!

Great safari experienxe
We are a family of seven (all adults) who went on a one-week safari trip with Simbaland Magic Tours in Tanzania in January 2026. We had a wonderful and memorable experience.
The organizer showed great flexibility in designing a tour that matched our needs and wishes, which made the trip both convenient and very enjoyable for us. Throughout the booking process, communication was good - the organizer almost always replied quickly, regardless of the day or time.
During the trip itself, everything practical and logistical was handled smoothly by both the tour operator and our guide, which made the entire experience very relaxing for us.
The itinerary was great, as we visited several different national parks: Tarangire with its big Baobab trees, Ndutu where we saw many calves, Serengeti where we saw many predators, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. Each national park therefore offered something unique, which made the tour varied and thus even more interesting. We had many fantastic game drives with remarkable wildlife encounters. We were fortunate to see the Big 5 and many more animals in various settings. We also had an authentic visit to two local tribes. We had feared this would be a tourist trap, but this was in no way the case and we instead had a very interesting cultural experience.
The lodges we stayed at were excellent — clean, comfortable, and very well located. Two of them were inside the parks, with wildlife roaming nearby, which made the stay even more special. The food was good, with a wide variety of dishes and several vegetarian options.
Our guide, Ali, was outstanding and was a big part of making the trip special. He was very knowledgeable and explained the animals’ behavior in different situations. This made every sighting special and unique.
The only things which could be improved are the vehicle and communication upon arrival. The vehicle was somewhat old and outdated and experienced a few mechanical issues during the trip. For example, the cooler did not cool properly, and some of the doors had minor problems. The communication upon arrival was slightly unclear, which led to a few misunderstandings — these were, however, resolved quickly.
Despite these minor shortcomings, we are very happy with our experience with Simbaland Magic Tours. The service was consistently good, and we came home with many unique and memorable experiences at a very reasonable price. I can definitely recommend them to others considering a safari in Tanzania.

Absolutely incredible. Mica our guide and our chef went above and beyond for us. We saw all BIG 5!
The team was very patient and supportive, going above and beyond for us. I highly recommend Simbaland and making sure you get Mica as a guide! We will have memories for the rest of our lives and will never forget. Tip Mica big! He deserves it.
Note: Be ready for a bumpy ride - it's just a part of the deal. Also be prepared for sleeping in tents and do what is necessary to make yourself comfortable. I also recommend being VERY clear on what you need for food. They will go above and beyond for you, just make sure you tell them clearly what your needs are.
