Amazing experience on a 6 Day Safari
We had an amazing experience on our 6 Day safari! Everything was planned perfectly and we were extremely comfortable the entire time.
Our guide Gilbert was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the wildlife and we were very lucky to have him as our guide for the trip.
We would 100% recommend Gilbert and Zepisa African Safaris!!

Best safari ever
left in October for my birthday for a safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was the most beautiful experience of my life.
I was assisted by Gilbert, who customized my experience based on my wishes and needs, making the trip perfect for me. I asked to depart from Mwanza so that I could visit Lake Victoria, and to end with a day on Kilimanjaro. He welcomed my ideas with enthusiasm and created an optimal itinerary.
He also organized a surprise birthday party for me!!
I saw so many animals: in addition to the classic giraffes, elephants, and lions, I saw cheetahs, leopards, and even a rhinoceros, completing the Big Five!
He is an experienced and professional guide, but also great company for solo travelers.
The vehicle we traveled in was comfortable and safe.
Compared to other companies I contacted, the prices were the lowest. I was also able to pay easily by bank transfer.
I enjoyed the experience so much that I decided to organize another safari with Zepisa in Ruaha, which was equally spectacular. You won’t be disappointed! 🦁🌍

Wonderful experience in Mikumi and Ruaha
Our African safari adventure with Zepisa African Safaris in Mikumi National Park and Ruaha National Park was truly the trip of a lifetime! Traveling as two families — 10 people in total — everything was perfectly organized and seamless from Nyemo to the very end. From the airport pickup with two jeeps to the final farewell, every detail was handled flawlessly.
In Mikumi, we were amazed by the incredible wildlife sightings right from the start — lions lounging under bushes, giraffes crossing in front of our vehicles, and elephants roaming freely. Ruaha completely stole our hearts with its wild, untouched beauty and breathtaking landscapes. The game drives there felt exclusive and intimate, and we were lucky enough to see nine lions with two little cubs eating a giraffe, as well as large herds of elephants with calves, giraffes, zebras, and thousands of other animals.
Our guides, Davis and Abi, were not only funny and great company, but also exceptionally knowledgeable and patient. They were wonderful with both adults and children, making the experience educational, engaging, and exciting for everyone.
Sharing this journey together as two families made it even more special. We returned home with unforgettable memories, thousands of photos, and stories we will cherish forever. We couldn’t recommend this safari experience more highly — it was simply magical!

A real-life《LION KING》
It is a highly cost-effective travel agency that offered us a very favorable price. The guide assigned to us named Gilbert, was a highly professional and instructive teacher. He would have us look up in books the names of the animals we saw, thereby deepening our impressions, and he also introduced the habits of different animals. He took us to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephant herds up close. During meals, he introduced us to the Big Five of Africa, the Ugly Five, and so on. He was very sincere, never late, and we were very lucky to have him as our guide.

Operator excellent 5 star but guide in our case poor 1 star
We booked a luxury Safari in Tanzania, and Nyemo was dry helpful and efficient in planning and organizing our trip. Very carefully planned our itinerary to visit a set of luxury lodges and it was a good value. The camps and lodges beautiful and the wildlife experience great!
Disappointed though in the guide and the vehicle which was in poor condition. The biggest concern was that the seatbelts were broken, and not usable. This made us very uncomfortable being that we were traveling in remote areas far from medical care and safety and prevention of injury so important. The vehicle also had electrical problems from the day we were picked up necessitating midway through the trip a stop at a garage for half a day and lost safari time.
The driver also was unfamiliar with any of the camps we had chosen, and in every instance was lost trying to find the next camp delaying our arrival by as much as one or two hours each time we changed camps. We chose luxury camps so we could also enjoy the camp ambience at end of day, but the delayed arrival left us feeling rushed.
I believe this experience must be an exception since in all the other reviews, the guides are outstanding. Also I would have thought there would’ve been some follow up from the company at the completion of our tour, but we were never contacted.

At the same time, we sincerely regret that some aspects of your experience did not meet the high standards we aim to provide. Guest comfort and safety are extremely important to us. Regarding the safari vehicle, we would like to clarify that our vehicles follow the standard safari specifications used by most tour operators in Tanzania. These are specially designed 4x4 safari vehicles suitable for the rough terrain of national parks. While they may not always be brand-new vehicles, they meet the same professional safari standards used across the industry. All of our vehicles are regularly checked to ensure they are safe and reliable for wildlife safaris.
We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected technical stop and any delays during transfers between camps. Safari areas are remote and sometimes challenging to navigate, but we understand how important it is to arrive on time to fully enjoy the camp experience.
Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we will use it to continue improving our service. Our goal is always to ensure every guest enjoys a safe, well-organized, and truly unforgettable safari with Zepisa African Safaris.

Wonderful and fun experience!
Our experience with Zepisa Safari was great! From the moment we were picked up at the airport and during all the safari we felt very taken care of and most importantly, we had so much fun!
Special mention to Omar, who was such a great guide and driver. He was always open to accommodating our needs and preferences during the safari, and we learned so much about the wildlife with him.

Great operator, we really enjoyed our safari trip!
We made a safari booking with Zepisa that took us to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The guide, Gilbert, was friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave us space to enjoy the experience without constant interruption, and was sensitive to our needs. Both the guide and operator were professional and flexible throughout the experience.

Once-in-a-lifetime experience in Serengeti National Park
I spent 3 days in the Serengeti, and it was an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience. My friends and I had a private tour with a great guide who had in-depth knowledge about the animals. His expertise made our tour more exciting and meaningful. We even joked that we wanted a 1-hour lecture every night because listening to him talk about animals was so fascinating.
We didn’t upgrade our accommodation(Taji House), but if we had been informed that there was no hot water, we definitely would have. Apart from that, the place was worth the price. Every meal was satisfying, and the morning view was simply wonderful.
Overall, I highly recommend Zepisa!

Maximum reliability and accuracy.
My safari was fantastic, I saw amazing animals!
They understood what I wanted and organized the safari accordingly. The animals were important to me, I didn't ask for luxury, so I got exactly from Zepisa what I asked for. They didn't offer the lowest price among several other companies, but it was probably the best value for money. Communication was good via email, and Nyemo typically responded quickly to my questions.
The organization was perfect and Omaru was an outstanding guide.
Which doesn't matter much in retrospect, but it does help improve the service:
1. Just before departure I asked for a final itinerary, which was not up to date, it was the same one I had received months earlier.
2. Unfortunately Lake Manyara is nowhere near what it was a few years ago. I should have been informed about this.
Apart from small inconveniences of Taji House everything went very well. If I were to go again, I would ask Zepisa Tours to organize it again!
