Christopher was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible!
When we booked our Tanzanian honeymoon with Christopher and his son Warren at I Dream of Africa, we shared a general idea of what we hoped to see and do while on safari. They took that vision and created the perfect itinerary for us, and continued to offer flexibility and great communication throughout.
Each evening, we enjoyed incredible lodgings, stunning scenery, and delicious and authentic food. During the day, we headed out on game drives where, despite navigating tricky dirt roads (where others got stuck), Christopher always seemed to be the first to spot animals hidden in the distance, giving us opportunities to be alone with nature (and to take great photos!) and away from many other tours. He also seemed to know someone at each and every stop we made, which was helpful in the network-driven safari guide world. Christopher was extremely respectful of our time, allowing us to truly enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.
We asked endless questions about the landscapes and wildlife, and Christopher never fell short of an answer. His deep knowledge of nature was matched only by his kindness and hospitality. Thanks to Christopher’s 30 years of experience in the safari business, our trip was nothing short of perfect.
Lastly, Christopher and Warren were very flexible with us. We spent several days in Zanzibar after our safari, and they generously and safely held on to our safari luggage while we were gone, then picked us up from the airport and even drove us to a tourist spot before we flew home!
If that’s not enough to convince you, here’s one more reason: many safari companies in Tanzania are Western-owned and profit heavily from Africa’s natural beauty, without truly benefitting the local people. Christopher runs a small, family-owned business with his son Warren, supporting his family and local Tanzanians rather than funneling money out of the community.

Excellent, reliable, friendly
We are a young couple from Germany and started our honeymoon with a 9-day safari in Tanzania with the guide and tour organizer I Dream of Africa. We would simply like to recommend this small, family-run travel company from Tanzania.
Christopher put together the trip individually according to our wishes, contact via WhatsApp (+255 754 461 594) was great. He speaks perfect English. We took a day trip to Kilimanjaro and to the Hadza/Datoga tribes and otherwise visited various national parks. Due to Christopher's extensive experience (almost 25 years), we had extremely good animal sightings (Big5, leopard hunting scene, fights between lions, a group of lions sharing a dead zebra, etc.). We were happy that Christopher always treated nature and animals with respect. He offers various accommodation options, but we decided to camp in the national parks, for which Christopher brought the high-quality equipment. We were able to hear the animals at night, went on long observation drives and enjoyed the food prepared by our personal "camp doctor" and cook Jophet. Although we can be picky when it comes to food, we were impressed every day. The two of them made an incredible effort to ensure that we had the best time. The price-performance ratio was really good.
Because we are very grateful for these wonderful experiences, we would like to recommend Christopher's Safari to you. With so many European companies, it is difficult to advertise as a Tanzanian tour operator, but this is the only way the money goes directly to the tour operators in the country. The one to choose in Tanzania!
I DREAM OF AFRICA, what a lovely phrase! Just the name of a company, but THE company to choose for a safari in Tanzania.
Christopher, the guide and local owner of this small company, is highly experienced, competent and very friendly.
He drives very well and safely, and knows all the tricks for seeing wild animals.
Thanks to him, we spent a fabulous day discovering the wonderful animals and landscapes in the Taranguire park.
His experience enabled us to see giraffes, elephants, meerkats, warthogs, monkeys and the icing on the cake was to see a leopard, cheetahs and lions. Unforgettable!

Once you take a safari with Christopher, you will never look at another option! BEST GUIDE EVER!
We have been on safari 3 times, each one with Christopher in Northern Tanzania. He is genuinely the BEST GUIDE and MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE animal and plant person I have ever met. Christopher finds the elusive animals far sooner and more intuitively than any other guide in the national parks and conservation areas. He flawlessly knows his flora and fauna as well as the history and culture and geography of his homeland. This is truly impressive. And as a privately and locally-owned operator, he continues to foster relationships with other amazing local businesses and organizations. He not only is doing the work to make our vacations truly unforgettable, he is helping the entire local community to thrive. We have never been disappointed by any place or person to whom he has introduced us. We also are always astounded and have shear amazement from all we get to experience thru his bespoke safari plans- all thoughtfully designed and organized to do A LOT but never feel rushed. Tanzania native Christopher shares his knowledge and love of Tanzania with his clients. Thoughtful, organized, patient and experienced, Christopher created a custom 12 day tour for us that achieved our goals of wanting to experience both a high-end lodging experience as well as in-the-park tent camp experiences. We never imagined we would see the number, and different kinds, of animals we did. Due to Christopher's experience, he knew when something was about to happen and twice we were able to view lions stalking prey. He could also spot animals we would never have seen without him, like leopards in trees. Christopher and the other tour guides he uses, which includes his son Warren, were a pleasure to spend our days and nights with (our group of 9 used two trucks).

Perfect safari with brilliant guides!
We, (3 couples from Austria) really had a fantastic and almost unbelievable safari for 2 weeks with the Agency "I Dream of Africa".
Our guides Ombeni & Warren had organized everything perfectly and were able to give us an answer to every question we had.
All accommodations (lodges and tented camps) were perfectly selected.
Every day they gave us incredible photo opportunities and amazing impressions of the national parks in northern Tanzania.

Dreamlike Safari with I Dream of Africa
„I dream of Africa“ is a family-run and local company. We did a private guided safari with Christopher and we couldn‘t imagine a better way to spend our honeymoon!
The organisation and communication in preparation of the safari with his son Warren was really easy and courteous. Christopher picked us up at the airport in Arusha and we started right away towards the first national parc. Christopher is a safe driver, speaks perfect english and knows everything about Tanzania, it‘s culture and people, it‘s animals and nature. He explained a lot, answered all our questions but also let us look around unhurriedly and enjoy the incredible views and sounds of the nature around us. He always knew where to go to find so many animals. And once on the ground we had all the time we needed to watch the animals and take pictures, he never hustled from place to place. One time we watched a whole family of elefants cross the street right in front of us. And while most of the other cars went on to the next spot, Christopher just pulled back a little bit and stopped again, just to see an other bunch of elefants crossing the other part of the street.
The lodges they booked for us were really beautiful and the food was great!
The whole safari was totally worth the price, we had the best time and will never forget this beautiful tour!

Couldn't have been better - we recommend them to everyone we know!
For our honeymoon, we went on an 11 day safari with Christopher from I Dream of Africa. From the moment he picked us up from the airport with a huge smile, we knew this was going to be the trip of a lifetime!
Christopher is such a kind, charismatic person who has an immense respect for the animals. In contrast to some of the other safari vehicle we saw, we spent a lot of time sitting with animals and seeing their day to day lives. It was honour to be in their presense and understand what living in the wild truly means. He is very knowledgable about the animals and the areas, answering our 100s of questions and sharing fun facts along the way.
Our accommodations were fantastic. We loved the luxury tents inside the Serengeti, where you can hear lions roaring nearby through the night.
The food was delicious. Fresh fruit, crepes and omelettes for breakfast, a bagged lunch for the road and a beautiful dinner with plenty of vegetarian options.
The itinerary was perfectly planned. Every park had something unique to offer! Seeing the Great Migration and wildebeests crossing the Mara river was incredible. In contrast we loved the Baobab trees and serenity of the elephants in Tarangire.
Overall, everything was beyond our wildest dreams.
