Amazing
Well, we’ve had a wonderful safari in some absolutely amazing places. The best part of all was our guide, David, who showed us everything. He was incredibly patient with us and managed to show us all of the Big Five, including a leopard. We even saw a leopard walking through the trees, which is incredibly difficult to spot, and we also witnessed the wildebeest migration.
And the ugly Five were also really funny and entertaining. It has been an unforgettable experience. The lodges we stayed in were spectacular, and I honestly have nothing but good things to say about this safari.
I would also like to mention that my communication regarding the booking of the safari was with from the office. In the beginning, the communication was very good. I asked him for a quote, and he sent it to me. We read all the terms and conditions carefully, and it is true that the quote clearly states that there may be last-minute changes.
However, I did feel that there could have been more communication. For example, two days before arriving for the safari, we still hadn’t heard anything from him so I had to contact him myself to ask whether everything was ready. He told me that everything was fine.
I was quite surprised when we arrived to find out that our itinerary was supposed to start in masái mara, then go to finish in Amboseli. When we started safari we had a surprise because It started in Amboseli y finished in masái mara. Nobody told us anything of This. This caused some disruption to our trip because we had booked our flights based on the original itinerary, thinking we would be in Amboseli rather than the Masai Mara at that point.
Nevertheless, David, being such a wonderful person and such a great guide, did everything he could to make sure we got to our flight. He had to get up very early as well, and we really appreciate everything he did to make that possible.
So, I have to say that I wasn’t completely happy with the lack of communication from the office
I also have some concerns regarding the payment. We initially paid a deposit, and according to the terms and conditions, the remaining balance was supposed to be paid at the end of the safari. So I was very surprised when, on the very same day that our safari was starting, the person of the office told us that we had to pay the remaining balance.
We were outside our home country, we bank with a particular bank, and it was actually quite difficult for us to make the remaining payment while we were abroad. I don’t really understand why the full balance for a safari has to be paid before the safari even begins. Personally, I would expect the final payment to be made once the service has been completed, or perhaps the day before. That part of the payment policy was something I didn’t really understand.
I also believe that there should be much more communication between the office and the client. When you are paying a significant amount of money for a trip, you don’t know exactly where you are going, you don’t know the people you are going to meet, and you are booking everything from your home country. Naturally, you have some doubts and uncertainty. You are communicating with an office that is abroad, in another country, and you don’t really know what to expect.
So, that is one thing I felt was missing: more communication and reassurance from the office.
The person of the office has always been very kind and friendly with me on WhatsApp, but I still don’t quite understand this payment policy. I’m sorry, but that is something I feel could definitely be improved.
The BEST of the safari David ....the car... The Lodge... And the animals

Wonderful Safari! David our guide went above and beyond to accommodate for me & my partner.
Our recent safari in Kenya was an unforgettable experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide, David.
Unfortunately, our trip got off to a stressful start when my partner's luggage didn't arrive. As soon as we met David, he immediately went out of his way to help us, making sure we stopped at every possible shopping centre so she could buy the essential items she needed, as her luggage wasn't going to arrive during our 3-day safari. His kindness and willingness to help turned a difficult situation into something we didn't have to worry about.
David was exceptionally knowledgeable about Kenya, its wildlife, and the national parks. His passion for the animals really shone through, and thanks to his expertise we were lucky enough to see so many incredible animals up close. Throughout the safari, he made us feel completely safe, answered all of our questions, and kept us entertained with his great sense of humour. He truly made the experience one we'll never forget.
We'd also like to thank Nicholas, who picked us up from the airport. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering advice and support regarding the lost luggage with Kenya Airways. His kindness and reassurance were greatly appreciated after a long journey.
Thank you both for making what could have been a stressful start turn into such an amazing adventure. We couldn't have asked for better people to look after us and would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a safari in Kenya!
Happy memories
I’m very pleased with Unscripted Safaris. Our guide, Jeremy, was highly knowledgeable and experienced. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife up close, from the Great Migration and a tower of giraffes walking right in front of our jeep to sleepy lions, rhinos, and so much more. Our accommodations in both national parks were also excellent. Overall, it was an unforgettable safari experience that left me eager to return to Kenya for another trip!
Fun and knowledgeable
My wife and I had a great experience with David as our driver, and a trainee called Ben accompanying him. We took a guided tour of Lake Nakuru and a boat ride at Lake Naivasha.
David was very prompt and helpful in guiding us and taught us about all the animals we encountered. He had a fun sense of humor and we felt safe and trusted his expertise.

Exceptional!
3-day, 2 Nights Maasai Mara Safari (Royal River Zebra Camp)
Communication: Communication with Lewis was mostly easy, reliable and fairly quick. He accommodated all of my requests without issues. We even got a complementary visit to the Giraffe Center.
Transport: We were taken to Mara by a normal car with a kind and friendly driver (Nicholas), we didn't know any details beforehand. He was an excellent driver but the roads to Mara are horrible - the ride took ages and it was quite exhausting; I would highly recommend taking the 4x4 wheel jeep! On the way back we were taken with the Safari Jeep with our guide and the difference was extreme (took us 2h less).
Guide: Our guide David was exceptional! Funny, clever, kind and highly competent! He easily accommodated all of our wishes (safari times, animals we liked to see) and showed us awesome hidden gems. He could answer all of our questions, always tried to get us the best spots at crowded places and communicated a lot with other guides and rangers to offer us a variety of sightings. We saw all of the animals imaginable (Leopard, Cheetah, Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Hippos, Crocodiles...) - only one missing was a Rhino which is very hard to find. We even did a short walking tour with a separate guide on the Mara River to see the Hippo Families and the crocodiles up close. Sunrise and Sunset game drives were incredible! On our way back to Nairobi we even stoped to have some Nyama Choma for lunch. We got along quite very well, it nearly felt like traveling with a friend! :)
Accommodation: We booked Zebra Plains Mara Camp which belongs to a company that has 8 different camps in close proximity. However, we were upgraded to Royal River Zebra Camp - it was unbelievable. This camp only hosts 25 people in total and is a true gem. Its close to a river so we also had the chance to spot animals right from the lodge. We saw a buffalo sleeping and a hippo grassing in the morning. We sadly missed the giraffes and the cheetah because we were out on a drive. We had an incredible "room" (it was basically an apartment). Spacious, calm, clean - an outdoor bathtub, an outdoor shower, a small cabana. The staff was also amazing - chatty, helpful and friendly at all times. Food is a set menu but there is a variety of different options and they were all very tasty!
Overall we couldn't be happier!!

Fantastic experience with Unscripted Safaris
I had an outstanding experience with Unscripted Safaris on their Nairobi safari tour. From start to finish, everything was well organized, seamless, and enjoyable.
A special thank you to Davis, who was an exceptional guide. He was friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing information about the wildlife. His expertise made the experience both educational and fun, and he went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable visit.
The airport pickup and hotel drop-off were smooth and convenient, and the entire tour felt personalized and stress-free.
An out-of-this-world experience thanks to David! 1000% recommended
Our time in Masai Mara was truly incredible, literally from another planet! A huge part of that was our guide, David. His dedication and attention to detail were wonderful; he went above and beyond every single second to make sure we had the absolute best time. He truly gave us one of the greatest experiences of our lives. I recommend him and Unscripted Safaris a thousand percent!
Our operator and driver was David. It was great. He knew all the tricks to get the best views
Our 1-day stay felt like a week long adventure, all thanks to our driver, David. He was fantastic, friendly and highly attentive. He knew all the tricks to maximize our time and ensured we saw every animal possible.
The Little Zebra hotel was top. The staff was incredibly kind, the location is beautiful and you can even spot crocodiles right from the terrace tables while you relax. 10/10 experience
