Great tour round Addis Ababa
Personalised day tour around Addis with Kenaw. He was great -- took me to some amazing food places, as well as the sights I wanted to see (cathedral, National Museum, memorial, Entoto park). The whole tour was tailored to what I wanted to do. Great information and very friendly. Felt like I was being taken around by a friend, not a tour guide! Would recommend to anyone looking for a guide in Addis and Ethiopia in general.

Very friendly and kind
It was my first visit to Ethiopia. Very impressive to see around the historical area in Ethiopia. Additionally, a guide and a driver were friendly and I really enjoyed entire tour with them.
Kena is great tour guide.
We enjoyed a wonderful tour of the National Museum, Entoto, and a walking tour of Mercato. We also enjoyed the palace of Menelik II, very peaceful, and we had a delicious lunch on the way back to town. We also went to Shiromeda market for the best Ethiopian fabrics. Kena explained a lot of the culture and history as well. Great day seeing the sights.

Great experience going to Merkato with Kenaw. He is very responsible and knows area and local merchants so can give you great advice where and what to buy for local prices.

Beyond Expecations
I began booking my tour of Lalibella and Danakil, Ethiopia in December of 2025. Mr. Kenaw Ayalew’s communication was quick and thorough, answering any and all questions I may have had. Being a female that travels solo, having someone who makes asking questions feel welcome and not a burden is truly awesome. Mr. Ayalew also made me feel like I was talking to a friend as he constantly asked about my health and asked follow up questions for scenarios where I had to tend to the aspects of daily life non related to booking my tour. Also, Ethiopia has been experiencing a fuel shortage crisis which caused delays to the Danakil portion of my tour. Mr. Ayalew went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to enjoy Danakil. Seriously, if you’re traveling to Ethiopia, do not look any further than On The Go Ethiopia: you’re in good hands from start to finish!
