Bavuma is handson with our trip
My African safari was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Every part of the trip felt thoughtfully planned and personalized to my interests, making it much more than just a vacation— big thanks to Joshua! The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and local culture while ensuring every game drive was exciting and memorable. Our guide in Kenya, Ian, was very fluent in english and whatever i ask him about the wildlife in Masai Mara, he has very satisfying answers and has a very keen eye in spotting animals. Ludo, our guide in Serengeti is friendly and somewhat funny. He makes the dusty and bumpy road bearable. Seeing animals in their natural habitat was breathtaking, and each day brought new adventures and unforgettable moments. The accommodations were comfortable, the hospitality was exceptional, and the attention to detail made the entire journey seamless. We, too, explored and enjoyed the beautiful zanzibar beaches and had a very relaxing day or two. I returned home with amazing memories, stunning photos, and a deeper appreciation for Africa's incredible landscapes and wildlife. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic, unique, and unforgettable adventure. A once in a lifetime trip anyone should have!
Unforgettably Amazing Experience
Where do I begin? For this to have been nature, I felt like it was too good to be true. When I was a kid, Lion King was my favorite movie & I felt like I was living in it. So many lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, and more! I’m very thankful for an experience that I will never forget. Our guide Tarimo was very helpful, punctual, and knowledgeable. I felt well taken care of and safe during this experience. I can’t say enough good things about it all!

Amazing safari through Tanzania
We got to see all the big five and see not just multiple parks, but stayed in some very lovely hotels. Tarimo, our safari guide, was exceptional and we loved getting to know him and his knowledge over a 5 day safari. Also loved we got to incorporate a couple days at Mt Kilimanjaro! Highly recommend
We contacted Bavuma after a warm recommendation we received from a traveler who went on their honeymoon. Bavuma organized our entire trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar, including choosing hotels and the itinerary. When we arrived in Tanzania, we met the company's team who picked us up from the airport and drove us to the hotel on the first night. They are a team of friendly people with whom we immediately became friends. The next day, we went on a safari in a dedicated Toyota vehicle, accompanied by a driver/guide with extensive knowledge and experience in the safari area. We managed to meet most of the types of animals that live in the safari area and spend the nights sleeping in excellent quality accommodation. At the end of the safari trip, the tour guide drove us to the airport, and from there we flew to Zanzibar. At the airport, one of the company's employees was waiting for us, who drove us to the hotel and accompanied us throughout our stay in Zanzibar. There is no doubt that if I repeat such a trip, I will do so with the help and through Bavuma.

Our experience with Bavuma Wild Quest was exceptional from start to finish. What stood out even before the safari began was the amount of care and attention that went into planning the trip. The team provided numerous itinerary, accommodation, and activity options, allowing us to customize the experience according to our interests, budget, and travel style. They were always responsive, patient, and willing to answer questions, making the planning process smooth and enjoyable.
The safari itself exceeded all expectations. Our guide was knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about Tanzania’s wildlife and ecosystems. Thanks to his expertise, we enjoyed incredible sightings of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and many other animals. Every game drive was exciting, and we learned so much throughout the journey.
The accommodations selected by Bavuma Wild Quest were excellent, and all logistics were handled seamlessly. We never had to worry about transfers, park entries, or schedules because everything was perfectly organized.
What impressed us even more was that their service extended beyond the safari. They arranged all of our Zanzibar travel plans, including flights, transfers, accommodations, and activities, making the transition from safari to beach vacation completely stress-free. Their recommendations in Zanzibar were outstanding, especially the quad bike excursion, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. It was a fantastic way to explore parts of the island that we otherwise would not have seen.
Bavuma Wild Quest delivered an unforgettable Tanzania experience with outstanding customer service, expert planning, and excellent local knowledge. Heart touching experience!!
Between the rugged savannahs of Tanzania and the golden sunsets, Bavuma Wild Quest has touched our hearts. Bavuma's team not only provided a tour, they introduced us to the spirit of Africa. The sight of thousands of animals swarming in the vast wilderness of Serengeti and changing the color of the sky is still a thorn in the eye.
Every moment was carefully arranged, the guide was a wealth of knowledge. Here one does not have to become a tourist - one can become a true adventurer and servant of nature.
Bavuma Wild Quest has left a piece of Africa in our hearts forever.

We found a family in Tanzania
To start of this review, I would say, my experience with Bavuma is beyond 5 stars. I booked him despite not knowing this company and despite chat got suggesting other companies with more longer experiences. Mr Bavuma's careful and attentive explanation through WhatsApp and his detailing in his quotation made me like his approach compared to others. He allowed every changes I made without once questioning me.
Even when I almost canceled my trip due to the War in middle east as my flight was canceled , he did not push me to change another flight, he advised on flight availabilities ie Ethiopian airlines. It was a good flight.
when arrived I was welcomed by Ludovicko. Another Gem in Bavuma's company. He is perhaps the best guide we ever had. We were like a family for the 11 days. He treated my son ( 6 years old) like his own son. He took the effort to get a bandage after my son fell. He was caring and kept checking on him. My son still sends his voice notes and asks how is uncle Ludovicko.
He makes sure everything is attended to.
our journey was awesome..
even when I decided to extend my tour to Zanzibar on my own , mr Bavuma and Ludovicko did not jus leave us, they made sure they spoke to airlines to get our tickets changed, all done with no any extra charges. he even made sure we landed safely in Zanzibar , checked on us daily while there. Even checked on us after we are back in Malaysia.
to summarise , my family found a family in Tanzania.
We miss Tanzania and we miss Bavuma and Ludovicko.

One lifetime experience
We had a wonderful experience with this agency from the start of planning this trip till the end, and I’m sure other travelers will appreciate the level of service they provide. From start to finish, the communication was smooth, professional, and reliable, which made planning the trip stress-free.
The overall value for money was excellent. The food was good, the lodges were comfortable, and everything was well-organized throughout the journey.
A special mention to our guide, Ludovick, who was truly exceptional. He is highly experienced, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at navigating the Serengeti roads. His professionalism and ability to anticipate our needs made the trip even more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had the best possible experience.
What made it even more special was that my son felt like he was living a real-life documentary almost like a 'National Geographic' experience. It was truly unforgettable for him.
Overall, it was a memorable safari, and if we have the chance, we would definitely do it again. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable adventure.
