Fantastic and very well organized safari.
We had a wonderful safari from Arusha via Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti to Mwanza. Our guide, Karim, was amazing. He did his utmost to let us see the wildlife. In addition, he is simply a very nice guide who also tells a lot about his country.

Fantastic Safari Experience
This was my first Safari and a memorable one - a perfect blend of stunning landscapes and animal sightings.
All details of the trip were taken care off and a special shout out to our guide, Patrick who was good company and very knowledgeable about the parks and animals. Patrick was both patient and enthusiastic about making sure we sighted the big five.
The accomodations were clean and comfortable and the staff at the camps were very helpful. Overall the food was good.
Highly recommend SIA given our experience.
Prepare for bumpy, dusty dirt roads, which are all part of the authentic adventure (our phones showed close to 8-10 thousand steps a day with us hardly getting out of the vehicle🙂)

Everyone taken care of - Great Safari experience.
This was a great experience. Everything is taken care of including meals, lodging and all the permits.
Most importantly they go the extra mile literally, to make sure you see the animals you came to see.
Special shout out to Patrick for driving us all around the Serengeti, giving us trivia about the animals, and helping us sight the elusive leopards, cheetahs and rhinos.
This was a unique and truly memorable trip for us.

Fantastic planning with SIA and Safari experience
I was extremely anxious about dealing with a company that wasn't in my country, because it's such an expensive affair but three of us had an amazing time with them.
Nuhu was very patient throughout the planning process as I kept changing countries and parks and days and camps!
They were on time to pick us in Arusha and our guide for the 6 day trip - Patrick was really great.
We were lucky to have him because he had a great sense of humour and kept us in good spirits while telling us amazing facts about the country, the parks, the animals.
I'm very glad I ended up going with SIA after doing some rounds of communication with the other guys. Like I said interacting with Nuhu was just so lovely.
Thank you for making this a memorable trip for us!

Unforgettable memories with positive and negative sides
Our safari experience was absolutely wonderful. I will never forget the time we spent with our fantastic guide Charles. The food and accommodation both lived up to our expectations perfectly.
Unfortunately, our stay in Zanzibar was a terrible letdown. Tour manager Nuhu was often hard to communicate with. We even had to argue over lunch and dinner meals that were supposed to be covered by our travel package. If you book trips with this operator, make sure you get written confirmation of every included detail, especially dining arrangements.
On top of that, our Zanzibar guide Mussa was extremely unreliable. He kept taking personal phone calls while behind the wheel, which felt very unsafe.

It's a good travel ,I think I will miss it.
I think this is a cost -effective trip. They also communications fluently in English, although my English is not very good. Although our flights are always delayed, Charles has been waiting for us, and Nuhu has been keeping in touch with us on WeChat, It's so secure. Charles seriously took us to find animals, allowing us to see a lot of animals, such as the lion family, the elephant family, the hippo family, etc., and also saw the endangered animal black rhinoceros!

Charles takes good cares of us
English is their main language, but also they provide the language service of other countries like Chinese, Germany, French etc. All the people here are friendly to us. This is an amazing adventure.

An adventurous tour operator that offers great activities, along with excellent communication and se
We had an amazing holiday in Tanzania and Zanzibar with the four of us. We booked our trip through Somewhere in Africa and everything was organised very well from start to finish. It was wonderful to have everything arranged so smoothly, because it allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the trip without worrying about planning or logistics during the holiday.
The absolute highlight of our trip was the safari. It was an unforgettable experience to explore the national parks and see so many animals in the wild. Our guide was excellent: very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and clearly dedicated to helping us spot as many different animals as possible. Thanks to his experience and sharp eye, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife, which made the safari truly special.
The accommodations during the safari were also great. Each place was comfortable, well taken care of, and it was very nice to be able to relax by the swimming pool after a day full of game drives.
Communication with Somewhere in Africa was very pleasant throughout the entire process. The team was always helpful, responsive and willing to think along with us to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. What we also really liked is that you can book many different types of experiences through them, not just safari. They offer a wide range of activities, which makes it easy to create a very varied and personalised trip.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and created wonderful memories. We would definitely recommend Somewhere in Africa to anyone looking to travel to Tanzania and Zanzibar!
