Great Andasibe tour with friendly tour guide
The communication with the operator was easy and very responsive. The car we got was as described, arrived on time with a very professional driver (which proved himself as super driver on the road to Mantadia Park ) our English speaking guide was very smart with vest knowledge and explained a lot about everything from history through geography botanics and wildlife, and spared us no details. They were also very responsive to special requests for stops and such.

Great experience, excellent value!
We had a wonderful time on our 4 night 5 day tour. Our trip started with a half day tour in Antananarivo before flying to Morondava for 2 nights. While in Morondava we did a night and day walk at Kirindy forest and spent ample time at Allée des Baobabs. We then flew back to Antananarivo and drove to Andasibe for night and day walks in the forests and wildlife parks. Everything about our trip was seamless and easy. All of our guides were knowledgeable and on time. It was also very easy to modify our itinerary to fit our exact interests. We especially appreciated that this tour included the cost of domestic flights and everything was booked for us. We’d definitely recommend booking with Friendly Tour Guides!

We worked with Danielos at Friendly Tour Guide Madagascar to plan a bespoke 14-day itinerary for our family of five, including our three children (ages 17, 12, and 10). From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful, responsive, and attentive, taking the time to create an itinerary that perfectly matched what we wanted to experience in Madagascar.
Everything was exceptionally well organised. Danielos selected wonderful local guides for each part of our journey, and every single one was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing their corner of this amazing country. He also took care of all our transport and accommodation, making the entire trip completely stress-free.

We met up with Tony to discuss before our tour and he was always available any time during. This gave a trusting feeling. From start to finish, this tour was an unforgettable experience. When enquiring about planning this trip ,Tony was very responsive, informative and. answered all our questions as we went along .When my suitcase didn't arrive in Madagascar Tony sorted it for me and negotiated with the airline on my behalf, going above and beyond and was very much appreciated
Our guides were all knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the whole trip both fun and informative. The itinerary was perfectly balanced — we saw all the major highlights without ever feeling rushed, and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos, ask questions, and just soak up the atmosphere.
The transportation was comfortable, everything ran smoothly and on time, and as it was a private tour we were able to spend as little or as much time at each place as we chose. Every stop had something unique to offer, and the insider stories and local tips really brought the culture to life.
It’s rare to find a tour that gets every detail right, but this one truly did, guides were on time , transfers were smooth, everything was flexible to our wishes. Hugh thanks to Tony, Sidney, Princee and Nico. The drivers were all awesome and we always felt safe despite some roads been very African massage- bumpy ! We left with amazing memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for the country. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience. We would do it again in a heartbeat!

Definitely recommend
I highly recommend the Friendly Tour Guide Mada. The best cars I have seen on Madagascar, very clean, comfortable and modern. Drivers and tour guide are professionals! Very polite and helpful. Except 3 spots written in the description, expect visit to a very nice European restaurant with an amazing view! We are very happy, that we found this reliable tour operator. Thank you for everything ☺️

A Perfect Escape from Tana
I went on a day trip with Tony and a colleague, and it was a fantastic experience to escape Tana after a long week of work. Tony is a friendly and knowledgeable guide.
I also did the nightlight tour which was a lot of fun!
