Trip of a lifetime
A family group of 8, we were picked up in Maun airport and spent 5 amazing days through Botswana parks and finished in Victoria Falls.
It felt like we were living a National Geographic episode. Had elephants, a hippo and hyenas wander through the campsite! Phillimon had an encyclopediac knowledge and was such an interesting teacher.
One special moment was when we saw a leopard cross the road and up into a tree, there was an elephant close by. Next thing an Impala ran past then a herd of zebras being chased by wild dogs! Just an incredible experience.
Camping was top notch with great food, comfortable beds and interesting company. Just a bit noisy at night!
Would 100% recommend Phillamon and the Africa Homeland Mobile Safari team, nothing was a problem and it was definitely a trip of a lifetime

Knowledgeable, respectful and accommodating
Our group spent 3 days and 4 nights on safari with Africa Homeland Mobile Safaris. Our guide was super knowledgeable and respectful of the animals in their natural environment. It was an incredible experience being able to see the animals up close and to explore Botswana. We saw some unfortgettable sights! Our guide even helped us with our transfer into Zimbabwe at the end. His crew were also lovely, setting up camp for us each day, and the food was tasty!

Amazing. Very knowledgeable, friendly and accomadating
Was amazing to see all the animals so close and we were very pleased to see soooo many different types of animals and learn lots about each.
The tour guide was great, talked clearly and knew his stuff, whenever we had any questions about the animals.

This 6-day safari was an adventure far better than expected
We had done safaris before but the thought of sleeping in tents in the wilderness did make us a bit nervous. In the end, it turned out better than expected and it was worth the risk.
Our guide Philimon was excellent at track reading which really helped that we saw all the animals that we wanted to. Not only did we want to see lions, but also a lioness with cubs. And we did, with 4 cubs right next to us. We were also right next to elephants swimming throgh the Chobe river totally submerged with only their trunks coming up once in a while.
The tents are in good condition and one can stand up in them. The best part is a private toilet area behind the tent which can be used and night. The food was very good and different every day. Congratulations for making fresh bread every day over a fire.
We did a 6-day safari from Okavanga Delta to Victoria Falls and can really recommend it.
Best Safari Ever
What an absolutely unforgettable experience! We spent six incredible days on safari, staying at three different camps, and every single part of the journey was truly exceptional. Without a doubt, this was one of the best trips and adventures of my life.
Everything was perfectly organised, and the service from the entire team was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we felt so well taken care of throughout the whole trip. Every evening, we enjoyed a delicious three course meal, which was the perfect end to each exciting day.
The time we spent on the jeep and on the boat was simply out of this world. Every day brought new adventures, unforgettable wildlife encounters, and moments that felt almost surreal.
A very special thank you to Philimon. He is exactly the kind of safari guide you would imagine seeing in a movie. He seems to see and hear absolutely everything and has an incredible ability to spot animals that no one else would even notice. He genuinely made sure that we had the best possible experience and went above and beyond to make sure we saw as much as possible.
This was a truly phenomenal and adventurous trip from beginning to end and an experience I will never forget. Thank you for making this journey so special and for creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Impeccable service from start to finish. Philemon was attentive, reliable, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable, making every part of the experience seamless and enjoyable. I recently booked a sunset cruise twice with Tumie and Phillimon, and it was a truly beautiful experience both times. Being out on the water, watching the animals up close, and enjoying the sunset made everything feel special and memorable. Tumie and Phillimon were extremely organized, kind, and genuinely helpful throughout the trip. They made sure I was comfortable and that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Even though the second day I booked a safari was quite last minute, they went out of their way to make it happen. We joined Phil for an 8-day mobile safari in Botswana. During the safari, we were fortunate enough to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, numerous giraffes, impalas, and elephants, as well as several animals that are considered rare sightings. Phil greatly enriched the experience by sharing his knowledge and providing useful reference materials throughout the trip.
Thanks to Chef Bongo’s delicious meals and the support of his assistant Jakop, our safari felt surprisingly comfortable and enjoyable despite being a camping-style adventure.

Perfect!
What an incredible experience! This camping safari was the perfect balance of adventure, wildlife, and camaraderie. Waking up to stunning sunrises, falling asleep under a sky full of stars, and seeing amazing wildlife in their natural habitat made every day memorable. We spotted leopards and cheetahs too!
The guides were knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about sharing their love for Africa. The campsites were well chosen, the food was great, and everything was organized smoothly despite being in remote locations. We covered Chobe, Savuti, Khwai, Okavango delta and Salt pans! One of the absolute highlights was sleeping under the stars in the salt pans—surrounded by complete silence and one of the most spectacular night skies I’ve ever seen. It was a truly magical experience and something I’ll never forget. Definitely recommended to have the tour with Phil!
