Professional and passionated
The offer and your description from Mackos was professional and detailed. Much better than any other offers we have seen. Brian took good care for this part.
We were very lucky to have Sebastian as our tour guide. Not only did he took excellently care and drove very safely - given the hectic traffic not an easy task. During the whole trip we enjoyed his storytelling and knowledge about the tsavo park animals. He was able to manage all our wishes to see the various animals, which nobody can guarantee. I vouch for him and recommend mackos, Brian and specifically Sebastian. We spent 3 wonderful days in tsavo east and west starting from Mombasa.

Safari with Sebastian & Brian
The safari was incredible. The guides gave us plenty of information about the animals and took us right up close to them. We were lucky enough to see elephants, leopards, lions, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and many others... We will cherish the wonderful memories of these two days.

Great
we went to tsavo east and west for 2nights/3days. They changed the order of national parks, so we saw tsavo west first, but it wasnt much of a problem. We got back to our hotel sooner that way. Omar was a great driver and guide, he saw many animals even from afar and made sure we saw as many animals as we could.
Excellent private three day safari
Great safari from start to finish.
Saltlick safari lodge was amazing and a highlight of our tour.
Sebastian our guide, was such a patient and skilled driver in the reserves, but especially on the Kenyan highways.
Great communication from the company. Pricing was good and well worth the money for a private tour.

Reliable
We had an interesting safari to Tsavo East. I really enjoyed it. Our driver, Sebastian was informed about the wildlife. It was not just a drive but a learning experience.

Very professional, friendly, well-organized, safe
We booked a private safari with 2 people from Diani to Tsavo east for 1 day. We wanted to have a jeep to ourselves, not with a big group in a minivan (which you see a lot of, often offered cheaper by other safari operators). Very professional communication about the itinerary and payment. Sebastian was right on time for the pick-up, very safe drive to the park, with cold water in the jeep and a clean toilet break on the way to buy some breakfast/snacks. We were very lucky in seeing all animals within just 2 hours! Even saw a lion hunt zebra right in front of us. Sebastian knew all the best spots, was very knowledgeable about the animals and often was the first one to arrive at the scene. He was in contact with the other park guides so other safari groups also got a chance to see the difficult to spot leopard & giraffe. Lunch was a delicious luxurious buffet, very clean toilets and overlooking a watering hole with monkeys, elephants, springbok. We enjoyed chatting about Kenyan culture with Sebastian on the drive back and learned a lot about villages we saw on the way. Would definitely recommend Mackos & Sebastian.

Four Days That Felt Like a Living Nature Documentary
Our safari through Tsavo West, Tsavo East, and Amboseli National Parks was nothing short of breathtaking. In just four days, we encountered elephants, giraffes, lions, giraffes, and many other animals in their natural habitat, with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop.
From the very first contact, communication with the tour operator Mackos and our main contact Brian was excellent – fast, clear, and reliable. Our driver and guide Sebastian was outstanding: calm, knowledgeable, and always focused on our safety and comfort. His instinct for wildlife and the best viewpoints made every day special.
The vehicle may not have been brand new, but it was very reliable and perfectly suited for the safari. Considering the overall experience, the value for money was excellent. We would choose this exact tour again without hesitation. It truly exceeded all our expectations.
