11 day midrange group shared safari
Overall our experience with Inspired Feet was very good. We did a lot of research prior to choosing an operator and Fiona gave the overall best vibes. After choosing her we were not disappointed as she frequently checked in on us to ask us if we needed anything or if the trip was satisfactory. Since it was a group shared safari, you sometimes have to change guides when crossing borders and when the logistics became difficult Fiona was super available and was able to quickly sort out any problems. The Maasai Mara and Amboseli in Kenya, as well as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro were standout trips and we spotted the big 5 both in Tanzania and Kenya. The lodges that she chose were very comfortable and professional.
If you are looking for a super attentive and professional host, Fiona is one of the best you can find for a reasonable price and we highly recommend booking with her!

Midrange 14 day Kenya and Tanzania safari
My wife and I were interested in booking a safari. We got quotes from several operators but went with Inspired Feet because they pulled back the curtain and showed the value, or lack if value for certain activities. Fiona was incredibly responsive before we put down the deposit.
During the entire process before we left for our trip Fiona was so responsive that I wondered when she slept. Her responsiveness was comforting throughout the planning of and the actual safari. It is hard to describe the logistics behind a 14 day safari to anyone that has not done one. Inspired Feet and Fiona inspired confidence that everything would be ok.
It is important that anyone considering a safari understand that if you want the best lodge, food and service it is available, but you are going to pay for that level of service. If you want a budget experience you can camp out in tents with basic, no frills amenities. We chose the midrange and we consistently pleased with our accommodations throughout our safari. Inspired Feet helped us understand the difference between budget and midrange. We felt we got great value for the money. We could not have planned a better trip had we had infinite time to research everything ourselves.
If I have one piece of advice, that Inspired Feet helped us with, is to calibrate your expectations. If you want a high end resort then expect to pay for a high end resort. We chose a midrange because we are too old to sleep in a tent. That does not mean that we expected Western hotel standards in Africa, but we were consistently impressed by the choices that Inspired Feet made for us.
Last thing as you consider a safari. The animals are the same whether you stay at a $3,000 USD a night resort or sleep in a tent with a foam pad. Inspired Feet set us up with some of the best guides available. The guides gave us an incredible experience each time we went out with them. If you do a group safari you cannot choose who is in your safari vehicle with you, but even if you are stuck with Instagram queens and others who’s level of entitlement borders on the extreme, a good guide can make a safari a great experience.

An Amazing Shared Safari Experience as a Solo Female Traveler
As a first-time solo female traveler, I was a little nervous before the trip, especially about the details and arrangements of the safari. I’m very grateful to Fiona for her timely responses, patience, and help with arranging the itinerary. Her assistance gave me much more confidence before and during the trip.
The safari itself was an amazing experience. I was lucky enough to see the Big Five, as well as many other incredible animals and unforgettable moments in the wild. Beyond the wildlife, I also had the opportunity to meet interesting people from different countries, which made the journey even more special.
Thank you, Fiona and Inspired Feet Safaris, for helping make my first solo safari such a memorable and wonderful experience. I will definitely cherish the memories from Kenya. 🦁🐘🦒❤️

Amazing adventure
Since the moment of reservation, contact with Fiona was excellent. Answers for my questions came without delays.
I've chosen 10-days Safari in Kenya and Tanzania. Safari was really well organised, our drivers-guides were very helpful and competent (especially Musa in Kenya).
It happened that some accomodation had been changed, but always for the same or even better standard.
Overall, I can strongly recommend this trip.

We can't recommend Inspired Feet Safaris highly enough. Fiona's organisational skills were phenomenal both upfront & behind the scenes. Her attention to detail was incredible, everything has been thought of and accounted for. She was incredibly prompt, efficient & helpful in responding to any queries we had prior to our safari. She was also available & proactive proactive in sorting out any issues we had enroute while on the safari.
The actual itinerary was fabulous, covering a diverse range of habitats, which in turn, ensured we saw a vast array of animals & birds. The itinerary is organised so there is sufficient time at each desination for the wildlife sightings too. Our guide in Kenya, Newton was marvellous, so enthusiastic, patient and keen for us to be happy with our experience.
The hotels and camps were all clean and the staff friendly, helpful and polite. There were always generous portions of wholesome food for breakfast, lunch & dinner, though the menu was a little repetitive in Kenya. Our personal chef for 4 days in Tanzania cooked up some amazing creations for us.

I can’t say enough great things about Fiona and her company Inspired Feet. Fiona planned an amazing itinerary for my family. She is extremely organized, answered all questions promptly and helped us navigate through the intricacies of traveling in Africa across country borders. Whenever we ran into something unexpected during our trip, Fiona was always there to help us get back on track.
Her itinerary is very detailed so that we always knew what to expect. Hotels/lodging were were uniformly good to excellent and our guides were incredible, especially Wilson who guided us around the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli.
She is very flexible and is a master at logistics. We were all very impressed by her planning and problem-solving skills. I highly recommend her company to anyone planning a trip to East Africa, especially to people who want to work with a local company with a personal touch and not a big mass market company.

Perfect safari itinerary with excellent support
My wife and I went for a 14 day Kenya Tanzania safari with 8 days in Kenya and 6 days in Tanzania in the month of August.
Overall, it was excellent with different national parks offering unique sightings. Kenya's Masai Mara NP with the many varieties of animals sighted including giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, wharthogs, hippos, cheetahs, vultures, along with migration over the Mara river. The latter needed patience, waiting for 2 hrs but worth it. Lake Naivasha NP for its walking safari; and Lake Nakuru NP for rhinos and hippos.
Tanzania's Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro NP had fewer animals due to drier climate but we sighted lions, hippos and elephants; along with a leopard devouring its prey perched on a tree.
Overall, having a combo Kenya and Tanzania safari helped to complete our safari experience in sighting the Big 5 and Ugly 5! Many thanks to Fiona Grace from Inspired Feet in providing this detailed and complete itinerary. Her prompt and clear responses to my different queries helped clarify and enhance our safari experience.

Perfect!
Everything went perfectly. From the moment we booked, they were attentive to our questions. The hotels were much better than we expected.
Wilson, our first guide/driver, was always ahead of everyone else to see the animals, and we were able to see them up close. He was a very kind and responsible driver.
Then we switched to Nicol, "the best"—a very good driver, super professional, and very knowledgeable about animals.
In short: it was a fantastic vacation, and we can't wait to go on another safari with Inspired Feet.
