Professional, flexible and good value
The team at Amafrick Getaways went above and beyond from the very start. They were personable and friendly, checking-in on us regualrly with great communication, whilst not being pushing. We collected several quotes from many Kenyan based safari operators and they came up top for value when doing direct comparisons of other operations using the same accommodation options. Overall we had a great and smooth experience. We had a professional and knowledgeable driver, who we an experienced safari guide and taught us so much on our trip. THANK YOU! would highly recommend.

A superb operator, found great animal sightings but respected the wildlife.
We booked a three-day private safari for four persons with them. We saw hippos, crocodiles, several cheetahs, a leopard, elephant babies.... Great driver with more than 15 years of experience. He knew where to find the animals but at the same time gave them space or at least tried not to disturb them too much. Also, the company had the flexibility to get us to a sensory garden and tea farm experience, which was not part of the organized safari and he also handled the negotiations with the rangers effortlessly.

Great Communication
Very pleased with our 3 day safari to the Masai Mara. All communication prior to and during the trip was very timely, professional and helpful. We only had one full day in the park but we got to see everything we wanted - lions, elephants, hippos, zebra, even a cheetah and much more.

Good, well organized and team consistency
Big shout out to the Amafrick team. The pickup was sharp at 7:00 AM—no delays, which is rare. Having the van all to ourselves for the three days made a huge difference for team bonding. Kereita was a blast, but the focus we had during the sessions at Brackenhurst was the real winner. Great job Regina and Sheldon.

I highly recommend Amafrik Getaways for corporate retreats. The choice of Kereita adventure and Brackenhurst for team development showed alot of thought and planning.

Excellent communication and flexible
I booked them for 3 days. They provided transfer from my accommodation in Nairobi to Mara Serena Lodge in Masai Mara, a full day game drive and transfer back to Nairobi. The lodge is located around 56 Km inside Masai mara. So not a close location. It all translated in to a lot of driving and communication with company.
I collected multiple quote, although there were a couple of quotes that were 50 to 100 dollars cheaper than them but I selected them based on their prompt response, courtesy, willingness to accommodate our requests and detailed itinerary. The driver Moses was great. He picked us up on-time, was courteous throughout the journey and made sure to spot as much wild life as possible. He followed local laws and park rules. And was deligient in taking rest room stops, informing us of plan ahead of time and helping us set expectations. I would 100% hire them for all future trips. The company also made sure to take our formal consent before posting anything on social media.
