Meddy’s knowlege, skill and commitment to guests made our experience highly valuable
Our experience was Beyond Travel was extremely positive. Due to our travel plans we were not able to confirm our safari until very last minute and Meddy and the team were committed to making it work for us. We did 3 days gorilla and chimpanzees tracking and it suited our plans best. Accomodation and food delivery were all impressive. This was a once in a lifetime experience. We also had issues with our Visa for Uganda and the team were able to expedite approval process for us. Highly recommend!

Best tour experience
I did the 3 day gorilla trek and it was one of the best experiences ever. From day one beyond travel was accommodating and responsive. The booking experience was very smooth and easy with the team being very understanding. The actual tour itself was absolutely incredible. Everything was thought of the accommodations were sensational. Meddy’s driving was very safe and he was very informative answering any questions or queries we had. This one in a life time trip was truly an amazing experience thanks to beyond travel. I couldn’t recommend enough.

Our 3 day gorilla trek tour with Beyond Travel was such an amazing trip. Ahmed was very attentive and willing to assist with any questions we had from the moment we reached out about the tour. His communication and organisation were perfect.
Our guide/driver Noah was such a good guide and a pleasure to travel with for 3 days. Always laughing, sharing stories and information. Nothing was too big of an ask for him.
The tour itself was one of the most authentic and pure experiences we have ever encountered in our travels. From driving through local regions in Rwanda and Uganda. Taking in the everyday life of locals to the gorilla experience itself. Nothing is staged, you trek in the jungle to find your groups assigned gorilla family. Your guide can inform the trekking rangers whether you want a short, intermediate or long trek to the gorillas. We chose intermediate and were trekking for an hour. Once found you have one hour and have to wear a face mask.
Overall a wonderful experience. Before the tour we only thought of Uganda to see gorillas. After the tour, we realise there is so much more to see in Uganda and it would be wonderful to return and do a longer tour with Beyond Travel.

Stress Free All Inclusive Experience
I had an absolutely wonderful experience on my gorilla trekking tour (starting from Kigali to Bwindi and back with a 1 night at Lake Bunyoni). From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, safe, responsive, and so warm and welcoming. As a solo female traveler, feeling safe and well looked after was especially important to me, and I always felt that I was in very capable hands with my excellent driver, Chris. He’s the best.
Communication was quick and easy throughout via WhatsApp, which made the whole experience stress free. My permit was booked almost immediately and everything relating to it was handled.
A special highlight was Milele Lodge at Lake Bunyonyi. It was absolutely stunning! And the staff and food there were unbelievably good. I was even given the option to add an overnight stay at the last minute, which was convenient and I also got to choose my accommodation from some great options. I also appreciated being given the choice between staying at Lake Bunyonyi or closer to Bwindi in the forest, allowing me to tailor the trip to what suited me best.
The entire experience was seamless, flexible, and well organized- although my only suggestion would be to ensure there are some snacks or a light lunch available to take on the trek since waiting to have lunch at the lodge afterward takes several hours. I would highly recommend this gorilla trekking tour, especially to other solo travelers looking for a safe, flexible, and professional experience.

This was honestly one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. The Uganda gorilla trekking experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, the guides were professional and helpful, and getting to see the gorillas in their natural habitat was truly unforgettable.
The value for money was excellent. Considering the organization, service, guides, transportation, and the once-in-a-lifetime experience itself, I felt that every part of the trip was worth it.
A special thank you to Chris, our tour operator, who made the entire experience even better. He was professional, friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly. You could really tell that he cared about making sure we had the best possible experience.

Well-organised and friendly

Excellent communication and organization throughout the tour
I recently joined Beyond Travel for a 3-day trip to Nyungwe National Park, and it was an experience I'll always remember. From the moment the trip started, everything was well organized, which allowed me to simply relax and enjoy the journey.
Nyungwe itself is breathtaking, and having a knowledgeable guide made the experience even better. I really enjoyed learning about the rainforest, the wildlife, and the different places we visited. The canopy walk was definitely a highlight, and the scenery throughout the trip was absolutely stunning.
The transportation was comfortable, the itinerary was well planned, and the team was friendly, professional, and always happy to help. Their attention to detail made the entire trip smooth and enjoyable.
