We just finished an incredible safari experience in Tanzania, and it wouldn't have been the same without our phenomenal guide, Humphrey Richard Mbaga!Humphrey is a true professional. His wildlife spotting skills are legendary—he can find deeply camouflaged leopards and track lions with ease. More importantly, he is an exceptionally safe and skilled driver, navigating the roughest terrain and mud comfortably. He has a profound respect for nature and deep knowledge of animal behavior, which made our trip both educational and thrilling.He went above and beyond to ensure our safety, comfort, and happiness throughout the journey. Cheap and excellent quality!
Great value for money! The food was tasty, and the whole experience was made even better by our very friendly guide, Armani, and the young cook. Both were welcoming and made the safari really enjoyable. Highly recommended! And don’t forget to Tipp, they really happy about it.

Our 3-day safari with Avocet Tanzania Safaris was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the beginning, communication was clear, friendly, and reliable, and everything was very well organized.
A special thank you to our amazing team, Humphrey and chef Tony. Humphrey was an excellent driver and guide — extremely knowledgeable about the parks, animals, and their behavior. He always knew where to go and found the best spots for us to see wildlife up close, while making sure we were safe at all times. He was always in a great mood, caring, patient, and genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience.
Tony was also fantastic and prepared delicious meals throughout the safari. Having such a friendly and professional team made the whole experience even more special.
We saw so many incredible animals and had amazing encounters that we will never forget. The service, organization, and value for money were excellent, and we always felt well taken care of.

Humphrey was the best driver you could ever have with you for a safari trip!
Our safari trip was great and couldn’t be better.
Humphrey was our driver, driving great and carefully on these bumpy roads of the safari. He made this experience great because of his great mood and knowledge of everything we asked about the safari, animal, place and accommodation.
We did see all the big five and a lot more during our three day safari.
The camps were nice, the tents and the bathroom clear.

Excellent
We did a 3 days safari in Serengeti and a ngorongoro. We saw all the big five and the trip was amazing, mostly thank to our excellent guide Humphrey, who was very well prepared about the story and the places where to find animals, other than a very careful rider.
Also the food and the whole organization was excellent.

Incredible experience - well organised and incredible safari guide Fidelis!
Our 4-day, 3-night safari with Avocet Tanzania Safaris was genuinely one of the highlights of our entire trip to Tanzania. We visited Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations from beginning to end.
Our guide, Fidelis, was absolutely superb. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, funny and genuinely passionate about what he does. His knowledge of the wildlife and the parks was outstanding, and he always seemed to know exactly where to go. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, whether we wanted to stop for photographs, spend longer watching an animal or ask yet another question! He made the whole safari feel relaxed, personal and incredibly enjoyable.
We were extremely lucky with the wildlife and saw all of the Big Five, several of them on multiple occasions. Some of the encounters were absolutely unforgettable, and Fidelis played a huge part in making sure we had the best possible experience.
There were six guests in our vehicle — ourselves and two other couples — and it worked perfectly. There was plenty of room, everyone had a great view, and we all got along brilliantly.
The accommodation throughout was excellent, but the Luxury Sightseeing Tented Lodges were a particular highlight. Staying out in such beautiful surroundings after a full day on safari was an experience in itself. The food was also fantastic throughout the trip — fresh, delicious and very well prepared, which was especially impressive considering some of the locations.
For the quality of the safari, accommodation, food, guiding and overall experience, we thought it represented fantastic value for money.
If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, we couldn’t recommend Avocet Tanzania Safaris highly enough — and if you have the opportunity to have Fidelis as your guide, you’re in exceptionally good hands. An unforgettable four days and an experience we’ll be talking about for years to come!
