Absolutely Amazing company
Absolutely amazing company! From start to end of our 2 day safari, the professionalism of the staff were 5 star. A member of staff met us the evening before for briefing, and was waiting for us at our accommodation on return. It was a lovely touch, that they provided us with T shirts & hats! Along with a bottle of wine/beers/cola & orange juice. For our safari. We seen all the big 5 plus many more wonderful animals. I would highly recommend booking with Joyful.

We had an unforgettable safari experience with our guide Miraji! He is an incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and passionate guide, and it was clear from the beginning that he has many years of experience. His 15 years in the field really make a difference, and we learned so much thanks to his explanations and expertise.
Miraji took the time to explain everything we saw, giving us interesting and detailed information about each animal and their behavior. He was very patient and never rushed us, always making sure we had enough time to enjoy and observe the animals properly. He knew exactly where to go and when to stop, which made every sighting feel special and unique.
We truly appreciated his kindness, professionalism, and attention throughout the entire safari. He made us feel comfortable and made this experience even more enjoyable and memorable.
Everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. We have nothing negative to say and would happily choose Miraji again for another safari. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced, friendly, and passionate guide. Thank you, Miraji, for making this adventure so special!

We had an amazing experience with our guide Miraji! He is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife. You can really feel his 15 years of experience.
He takes the time to explain everything about each animal and always makes sure to stop so we can fully enjoy every sighting. He was patient, attentive, and made the safari even more special.

The experience was really fantastic! The food was surprisingly really amazing (for cooking on a mountain - no idea how they did it). The operator was very communicative. The guides were incredibly experienced (over 300 trips up Mt. Kilimanjaro) and taught us a lot of Kiswahili on our trip!

Beyond our expectations
We had an incredible experience climbing Kilimanjaro with Joyful Safaris on the 8-day Lemosho Route. From the very beginning, everything was exceptionally well organized. The team took care of every practical detail, making us feel safe, well prepared, and supported throughout the entire journey.
A special thank you to our guide, Samuel, and our assistant guide, Nikson. Together with the rest of the crew, they did everything possible to make our climb as comfortable and enjoyable as it could be. Their professionalism, encouragement, and positive attitude made a challenging adventure feel much more manageable.
What impressed us the most was the dedication of the entire team. Every single person—from the guides and porters to the camp staff—worked incredibly hard, always with a smile and a genuine desire to help. Their kindness, attention to detail, and service mindset were truly exceptional and made us feel cared for every step of the way.
We would also like to give special recognition to the chef. We were amazed by the quality, variety, and taste of the meals he prepared every day, especially considering they were cooked at altitudes of over 3,000 meters. It was far beyond anything we expected and played an important role in keeping us motivated throughout the trek.
One moment that we will never forget was how the entire crew went the extra mile to celebrate my birthday on the mountain. They surprised me with a homemade birthday cake and gathered to sing for me, creating a truly special memory in such an extraordinary place. It perfectly reflected the warmth, thoughtfulness, and genuine care that the whole team showed throughout the expedition.
Unfortunately, we had to turn around at approximately 5,000 meters due to altitude-related challenges. However, this was in no way a reflection of the team’s efforts. On the contrary, we were extremely impressed by their professionalism and their unwavering commitment to our safety. As they repeatedly reminded us: “Safety and health above everything.” They made the right decisions, monitored us closely, and ensured that we always felt safe and supported.
Although we didn’t reach the summit, we still consider this an unforgettable experience, thanks to the outstanding team at Joyful Safaris. If you’re looking for a Kilimanjaro operator that genuinely cares about its clients, is highly organized, and puts safety first without compromising on service, we can wholeheartedly recommend Joyful Safaris.

We had an unforgettable 4-day private safari with Joyful Safaris, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Our itinerary included one day in Tarangire National Park, two days in Serengeti National Park, and one day in the Ngorongoro Crater. Everything was perfectly organized from the moment we were picked up until the end of the trip. We always felt well taken care of, and the entire journey was seamless and stress-free.
A special thank you to our guide, James. He was outstanding throughout the safari. He listened carefully to what we wanted to experience, shared his extensive knowledge about the wildlife and nature, and worked incredibly hard to make sure we had the best possible sightings. His dedication and determination to help us see the Big Five were truly impressive, and thanks to his expertise, we achieved exactly that.
James always made sure we were in the right place at the right time, while never making us feel rushed. His passion for wildlife, professionalism, and friendly personality made every game drive both exciting and enjoyable.

Helpful, attentive, passionate and of course, joyful!
My family and I had a wonderful 5 day safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. From the beginning Joyful Safaris were incredibly good at communicating and answered all my questions including providing a full digital brief of what our trip would include and involve. Naite was always reachable during our safari and coordinated everything for us so we had a very easy and laidback trip. The tour was brilliant and we saw many different national parks, there were long drives between some of them but then we would spend as much time as possible in each of the parks. We saw so much, including the big 5, and had a superb guide driver that really looked after us and knew all the best spots to look for animals. The accommodation was nicely varied and we enjoyed each spot whether a lodge, glamping, or camping. I would throughly recommend for your trip they will arrange it all for you!

The best!!!

Incredible 5 day Safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. JOHN was an amazing guide, he was so knowledgeable, funny and very easy to get along with and really added to the trip. The accommodation was top quality throughout, As was the food. We saw all the main animals and would recommend this trip to anyone!
