Unforgettable Kenyan Safari with Eliteways Travel & Safaris!
We recently returned from a wonderful safari trip to Kenya in September booked with Eliteways Travel & Safaris, we had a fantastic experience. The team at Eliteways was extremely friendly and managed our group seamlessly from start to finish.
A special shoutout goes to our guide, Sospeter! The long game drives could have been tiring, but having such a knowledgeable and engaging guide made all the difference. Sospeter set proper expectations, helped spot wildlife along the way, and shared insightful facts about the animals and local environment.
Accommodations & Highlights Breakdown:
• Vehicle & Drive Experience: The rugged vehicle was as comfortable as possible for long days on the road and allowed us to see almost every angle around the vehicle as we moved.
• Standout Lodging: The Tamarind Tree Hotel in Nairobi and the Swahili Beach Resort both provided outstanding service and were beautiful properties.
• Bush Lodges: The sleeping quarters in the bush lodges were clean and adequate. However, the menus at two of the lodges were not very extensive and struggled to cater well to dietary restrictions.
• Minor Hitch: Our one-night stay at Travelers Beach Hotel was sub-par, but we’ve passed this feedback to Eliteways so they can adjust their hotel rotations for future guests.
It was a memorable and highly enjoyable trip. We would definitely recommend Eliteways Travel & Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Unforgettable 16-Day Journey Across Kenya with an Outstanding Team!
We recently completed an incredible 16-day tour across Kenya with Eliteways Travel & Safaris, and overall, it was a truly wonderful experience! Our itinerary took us from Nairobi (including Nairobi National Park and the National Museum) to Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, the Maasai Mara, Mombasa, and Diani Beach.
Seamless Planning & Warm Hospitality
A special thanks to Susan, who coordinated our itinerary. She was an absolute pleasure to work with over weeks of going back and forth to fine-tune every detail and build the perfect trip for us. Meeting her in person was a delight!
Although we had a slight hiccup with our initial airport meet-and-greet, Eliteways rectified it as quickly and smoothly as possible given the early morning hour. Mistakes happen, and we greatly appreciated how promptly they handled it. In Nairobi, the hotels and restaurants were great, with Ankole Grill being our absolute favorite meal!
The Highlight: Our Incredible Driver & Guide, Sospeter
What made this trip so special was Sospeter, who accompanied us across the entire country for 16 days. He was exceptionally professional, flexible, highly knowledgeable, and personable. Sospeter took a genuine interest in getting to know us, which made spending over two weeks together feel comfortable and relaxed rather than stiff. His patience during our park visits was amazing, and his enthusiasm made us feel like he was seeing every animal for the first time right alongside us. He truly elevated our safari experience!
Constructive Feedback for Eliteways
While we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and highly recommend Eliteways, we wanted to share two pieces of gentle feedback for future itineraries:
1. Dietary Expectations in the Bush: For travelers with non-meat or non-dairy diets, options in the bush lodges tend to lean heavily toward meat dishes or standard Indian cuisine, with very few plain vegetable, fish, or plant-based choices. While this is understandable given the remote locations, it would be helpful for Eliteways to set clearer expectations upfront rather than assuring guests that all dietary needs will be effortlessly catered to.
2. Hotel Selection (Mombasa): We strongly suggest removing Travelers Beach Resort in Mombasa from your roster. The property feels dated, with damp smells, visible stains on furnishings, and rust in the bathrooms. The staff was unwelcoming, the buffet layout is inconveniently tucked away, and the spa setup requires guests to walk through public hotel corridors in towels. Given how wonderful the rest of our trip was, this hotel fell far below the standard of the rest of the tour.
Final Verdict
Despite these minor points, the thoroughness of the itinerary, the natural beauty of Kenya, and above all, the incredible expertise and warmth of Susan and Sospeter made this an unforgettable vacation. We would happily travel with Eliteways Travel & Safaris again and gladly recommend them to anyone planning a safari!

Great experience with this transport company! The driver picked me up from my home in Nairobi and took me to Naivasha for some personal errands and brought me safely back home. He was punctual, drove safely, and the car was clean and comfortable. He was also friendly and great to chat with throughout the trip. I would definitely use this company again. Highly recommend!

Great tour operator! Well organised and very enjoyable.
Excellent experience from start to finish! Communication before the trip was very good, and everything was arranged smoothly and on time. The pickup was punctual, and the entire trip was very well organised.
The AA Lodge in Amboseli was fantastic, with a beautiful setting, great service and excellent food.
A special mention goes to my guide, who was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of interesting information and knew exactly where to find wildlife, including several large elephant herds. As I was particularly interested in birdwatching, he also made an effort to focus on birds and helped me spot and identify several species. We spotted also some rare animals like gerenuks, dik-diks and more.
I had an absolutely wonderful time in Amboseli and would definitely recommend this safari experience!

At the beginning three was some stress, as we the Agent was not sure to get tickey to the orphanage center and the driver was 30 minutes late.... Finally all worked well. During safari I saw all kind of animals, including lions, zebras, rhino etc... the visit to the orphanage center to baby elephants and rhinos was great. As indicated , twice I had to tip guides (10$). Overall a nice day in Nairobi!

Susan from Elite ways was AMAZING ❤️ after some confusion with our driver due to people having different Itineraries, Susan personally came to meet us, arranged a driver and joined us for the afternoon to continue our excursion!
It was such a great experience, and the service provided was absolutely spot on!

I chose Eliteways Travel and Safaris because of their high altitude ratings and numerous positive reviews on this site, and they certainly did not disappoint.
From the very beginning, my coordinator, Susan, answered all of my questions quickly and accurately. Her efficiency gave me the confidence to wire the full tour payment in advance.
I had initially booked a two-day group-joining tour to Amboseli. However, right before the trip, the other participants failed to complete their payments. Instead of canceling, the company turned it into a private tour for me with just myself and the guide/driver—at no extra charge! Being able to have a 6-to-7-passenger jeep all to myself for the same price was an incredibly lucky and generous experience.
Because it became a private tour, I was able to enjoy the safari entirely at my own pace, which made me completely satisfied. While the guide seemed a bit distracted by his phone while driving, it didn’t take away from the overall amazing experience. Additionally, Aa lodge Amboseli was wonderful, the food and room were excellent, the ambience was incredible so I had a very relaxing stay.
Eliteways Travel and Safaris truly lived up to expectations. They are a reliable and trustworthy company that you can choose with peace of mind. I highly recommend them!

We stayed at Sunguta Safari Camp — lovely place with very good service, just no alcohol available.
