Fantastic experience with Tanzania-based tour operator!
We chose Wild Horizon Safaris because we were looking for a reliable, local tour operator to make sure we get the best Tanzanian experience and that the money goes to the local communities.
We were not disappointed! We had fantastic 8 days in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. No day was like the day before. Our guide Steven knew exactly where to take us and spotted animals we would have never seen by ourselves (including the big 5). He also told us a lot about their habitat and behaviour!
Moreover, he was just a wonderful person with good vibes who made our stay in Tanzania unforgettable.
Some minor setbacks on the administrative side have been handled very professional and creative and we have always felt very well taken care of! Since they are not one of the big tour operators, they came up with very individual solutions.
We would always chose Wild Horizon Safaris again and highly recommend them!
Asante sana!

Excellent
I had a great experience with Wild Horizon Safaris! Everything was well organized and exactly as described. Booking was super easy, even though I only booked the day before. Our guide was excellent, and communication with the organizers was clear and smooth from start to finish.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience in Mikumi! 🐘🦒🦓
Our experience at Mikumi National Park was absolutely amazing! We would like to thank the entire team for their kindness, professionalism, excellent organization, and the wonderful treatment we received throughout the day.
We enjoyed every moment of the safari and were lucky enough to see so many animals in their natural habitat, which made the experience even more special. Everything was well organized, and we felt comfortable and well taken care of from beginning to end.
Without a doubt, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Tanzania, and we highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Zanzibar who wants to go on a safari.
Thank you so much for making our day in Mikumi so special and unforgettable! We would definitely recommend you! ❤️🐘🌍

We had a wonderful time seeing all big 5 animals in Tanzania. We had a chance to visit the breathtaking Serengeti National Park, Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater in May 2026. Everything was organized and the wildlife and scenery were absolutely unforgettable

The best tour guide we could have asked for!
Abu and the team with Wild Horizon Safaris were top tier. No matter what question or request I had at any time the entire team was prepared to answer. Their knowledge about the amazing animals we saw or culture we learned about was deep and authentic. The cars were in great condition and the popped top was such a fun way to see everything while not getting blasted by dust the entire time. I couldn’t recommend this group more!!
