Emmanuel was an experienced guide. He knew the loops to travel to see the Big 5
This has been the trip of a lifetime. As a solo traveler in Africa for 2 weeks. I felt safe and everything accommodated for. We talked every morning about our day and every night about our next adventure. They provided plenty of water and snacks. He helped me with check in and check out. The service was excellent and the knowledge of the game drives and animals. We saw the big 5. It was so exciting. We counted about 50 lions through our 9 day game drives. 4 leopards, 3 cheetahs and 2 babies. 1 serval cat. This is nature as Emmanuel would say. Every day was a new adventure. We saw a plethora of animals. It was amazing. We also prayed before each game drive. Starting the day in prayer for safety and gratitude. I went with the luxury safari trip and all the accommodations were excellent.

Very easy to work with!
The Tour company and my guide, Emmanuel, were excellent! While I was working with them to get a quote and talk about a few adjustments, they were very communicative and let me know what was going on during each step of the process. Emmanuel was a wonderful guide! Clearly loves what he does, his country, and the animals of course! It's important for me to feel safe as a solo female traveler, and the company was gracious enough to accept me solo traveler at a reasonable cost.

A fabulous safari experience!
We had such an incredible safari with our amazing guide, Joseph Temba!
Joseph was friendly, funny, extremely knowledgeable and so easygoing. He made us feel comfortable from the very beginning, and we genuinely enjoyed all the fun, goofy conversations and laughs we shared throughout the trip. He really made the whole experience that much more memorable!
We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, which was an absolute highlight! Joseph was fantastic at positioning the vehicle to get the best possible views and perfect photo opportunities. His knowledge of the animals and the surrounding areas was impressive, and we learnt so much along the way.
The entire safari was really well organised, the accommodation was great, and the food was delicious, even the packed lunch boxes were something we looked forward to each day!

Wonderful safari – an unforgettable experience!
We had a wonderful safari with Get Together Adventures and can highly recommend them. Everything was very well organized, from our first contact to the warm welcome in Arusha.
We visited Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara and were very lucky to see all of the Big Five. We especially loved having a private safari just for the two of us, as we could decide where we wanted to stay longer and watch the animals without any rush.
Our guide Emmanuel was fantastic – friendly, patient and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and nature. The selected lodges were very good and we really enjoyed the food as well.
A big thank you to Emmanuel, Saviliniy and the whole Get Together Adventures team for the warm and personal service and for making our first safari in Tanzania such a memorable experience.

A very attentive and professional organisation that created for us an unforgettable safari adventure
Get Together Adventures are a very professional and friendly group of people. Rogath was our initial contact and he put together a holiday package to suit our requirements. He was attentive at every step of the process and responded very quickly to every request for information. He even organised a trip to a doctor for one of our party who needed some medical attention at the start of our trip. Our tour guide was Emmanuel Makundi. He is an excellent guide - full of knowledge about the animals and birds that we encountered. He worked hard to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. His enthusiasm for his job is infectious and he is a joy to spend time with. We could not have been better looked after on our Tanzanian safari.

Exceptional Safari Guide – An unforgettable experience
We were very nervous booking a safari direct with a company in Tanzania, however Get Together Adventures made the whole process very easy! They would respond to my emails and questions almost immediately and were incredibly helpful and reassuring.
Our safari guide Emmanuel was absolutely incredible. His knowledge of the wildlife and the landscapes of Tanzania were second to none. Every animal we encountered came with fascinating insights – from behaviour and conservation to how each species fits into the wider ecosystem. His passion for the country truly elevated the entire experience.
Beyond being incredibly informative, Emmanual spoke perfect English, he was also warm, patient and clearly dedicated to giving us the best possible experience. His ability to spot animals from impossible distances was unbelievable, and every sighting felt special because of the stories and knowledge he shared.
Not only was the guiding exceptional, but the vehicle itself made the safari even more enjoyable. It was immaculate, comfortable and perfectly equipped for long days in the bush including air conditioning which made the drives between parks so much more comfortable during the hot days. The pop-up roof gave us amazing visibility for wildlife viewing and the fridge was always stocked with ice-cold drinks. We had plenty of snacks, charging points for our devices, and even reliable Wi-Fi, which made it easy to capture and share moments throughout the day.
If you are planning a safari in Tanzania and want a guide who is knowledgeable, passionate and truly exceptional, I could recommend Get Together Adventures more highly, we certainly will book again!

Amazing Tanzania experience with checking everything off the list we wanted!
My wife and I had our Africa safari experience with Get Together adventures and it was fantastic! We arrived in Nairobi (first time in Africa, we are from the USA) to check out the city and nurse our jet lag. Then Get Together arranged a flight from Nairobi to Arusha and dropped off at a luxury resort. We then had a fantastic tour guide named Joseph be our personal driver and guide for eight days from Arusha > Tarangire NP > Central Serengeti NP > Northern Serengeti NP > Ngorongoro crater > Arusha. We got to see everything we wanted and more! Mara river crossings, the big five, etc. Joseph was a great driver and it was obvious when we saw how he drove/navigated compared to other providers whilst we were in the parks. Joseph knew the right places to go, who to communicate with in the bush, and how to get around the parks to see what we wanted and help us check off the boxes we wanted. We also asked him some side quests in villages and he had no issue accommodating. My wife had her birthday during our safari and Get Together arranged something special at one of our resort stays. I would HIGHLY recommend Get Together, Joseph, and all staff we interacted with. I’m writing this as we will be dropped off at the Arusha airport tomorrow and chapter two of our Get Together adventure starts with a flight to Zanzibar, which they arranged everything from flight to Zanzibar, stays, tour, and drop off at the airport to head back to the USA. Look for my review after the next chapter!

Emmanuel was the perfect guide and we could not have asked for a better person to join us!
Get Together Adventures gave us the trip of a lifetime, and I don’t say that lightly — this was our honeymoon, and they made every single day of it effortless.
Start with the wildlife. We saw all of the Big Five: leopards, lions, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo. Then hyenas, gazelles, and more species than I can list here. The highlight was an aardwolf, which almost nobody gets to see — our guide Emmanuel spotted it and knew immediately what we were looking at.
Emmanuel is the reason this trip was what it was. His knowledge is genuinely extraordinary: animal behavior, birds, ecology, culture, history. He read the bush better than we thought possible and always seemed to know exactly where to be and when. Beyond that, he’s warm, funny, and endlessly patient. We could not have asked for a better guide.
The logistics were flawless from the moment we landed. Airport transfers, every game drive, every lodge from Lake Duluti onward — all seamless, all on time, with zero stress on our end. That’s not easy to pull off over two weeks in Tanzania, and they made it look easy.
We would do this again in a heartbeat. If you’re considering a safari, book with Get Together Adventures and ask for Emmanuel.

Fantastic week-long great migration experience
I recently returned from a week-long safari as a solo traveler and photographer, and it exceeded my expectations in every way.
From the very beginning, the office was fantastic to work with. They responded quickly to every message and were incredibly helpful in accommodating all my customization requests. The lodges they arranged were consistently good quality throughout the trip.
The vehicle itself was like-new and in excellent condition. It came equipped with cold refreshments, snacks, and even internet access — but as a photographer, what I appreciated most were the bean bags!
A huge part of what made this trip special was my guide, Makundi. He was punctual every single day and flexible whenever I wanted to adjust plans or chase a particular shot. Beyond that, he's simply an excellent driver and clearly very experienced in the field — his knowledge of both animals and plants was impressive, and I loved the facts and fun facts he shared along the way. He knows the parks inside and out, and it was obvious he's well-liked and respected among the other guides too. Some of my favorite moments were the storytelling during dinners, the bush lunch and coffee breaks, giving the days a nice rhythm.
What really stood out, though, was how much Makundi cared — not just about me as a client, but about the vehicle too. When one of the windows malfunctioned, he addressed it right away and got it fixed. He also cleaned the car every single day, which spoke to his overall attention to detail and pride in his work.
Overall, this was an outstanding safari experience, and I'd highly recommend both the company and Makundi as a guide to anyone planning a trip — especially photographers who'll appreciate the thoughtful touches like the bean bags or internet in the car.
