An Unforgettable 9-Day Safari — Extraordinary Wildlife, Culture, and People!
Our nine-day adventure with Tanzania Timeless Safaris far exceeded anything we could have imagined! Our group of six, including my 83-year-old mother, returned home with incredible memories, wonderful stories, and a deep appreciation for the beautiful country of Tanzania and the people who made our experience so special.
We explored Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater, experiencing some of the most breathtaking landscapes and wildlife encounters imaginable.
We saw **all of the Big Five**, but that was only the beginning! We watched a mother lion with her cubs, cheetahs feeding on a fresh kill, and magnificent male lions and elephant families walking right beside our safari vehicle. We encountered giraffes, zebras, hyenas, antelope, meerkats, and herds of wildebeest. At times, the animals were so close it hardly seemed real. We even had opportunities to walk near giraffes and zebras.
There is simply nothing like seeing these magnificent animals living freely in their natural habitat. Every day brought something different, and we were continually amazed by how much we experienced.
But what truly made our safari exceptional was our team.
Amin, our lead guide, was outstanding. We learned that he is a highly sought-after guide, particularly for his expertise in birding, and we quickly understood why. His knowledge of the wildlife and environment, combined with his genuine enthusiasm and dedication, made our experience so much richer. Amin took personal responsibility for making sure we had a wonderful safari, and we felt incredibly fortunate to have him leading our adventure.
Paschal, our guide and driver, was equally wonderful. He expertly navigated the crazy roads and safari terrain, helped us enjoy remarkable wildlife encounters, and was a steady, capable, and friendly presence throughout our journey. Spending so many days together, we came to appreciate not only his skill but also the care he took with our group.
When Amin couldn't accompany us for the final days, Richard, the owner of Tanzania Timeless Safaris, personally joined us alongside Paschal.
Those days added a whole new dimension to our trip. We shopped in local markets, visited a local school, experienced hands-on traditional coffee making, enjoyed a walking safari, and visited a Maasai village. These experiences allowed us to see more of everyday life in Tanzania, meet local people, and gain a greater appreciation for the country's culture and traditions. They were a wonderful complement to our days in the national parks.
There's also a remarkable story behind how we came to travel with Tanzania Timeless Safaris.
We had originally booked through another company, but when we arrived in Tanzania, we learned that our accommodations and safari arrangements had not been paid for. Richard and Amin, who had been asked to serve as our local contacts, discovered the problem before our arrival. Despite the circumstances, they were there to meet us at the airport late at night, helped us get safely to our accommodations, explained what was happening, and immediately went to work finding a solution.
Richard somehow managed to arrange an entirely new nine-day adventure for our group on incredibly short notice.
I share this because it speaks volumes about the character of these men. When faced with a difficult situation they hadn't created, they stepped forward, treated us with honesty and kindness, and made sure we had an extraordinary experience.
The wildlife was spectacular, the scenery breathtaking, and the cultural experiences unforgettable. But what truly set this adventure apart was the people.
Richard, Amin, and Paschal gave us so much more than a wonderful vacation. They gave us an experience that we will remember and talk about for the rest of our lives.
If you're considering an African safari, I cannot recommend Tanzania Timeless Safaris highly enough. From the incredible wildlife encounters to the thoughtful personal attention and genuine hospitality, our nine days exceeded every expectation.

I also really appreciated how safety-conscious the team was throughout the experience. They made sure we stayed safely inside the vehicle and maintained a safe distance from the animals at all times. It made the experience feel secure while still allowing us to enjoy being so close to wildlife.

Richard, the owner of Timeless Safari, was incredibly responsive, responsible, accommodating, and genuinely made us feel like everything was taken care of. From planning the trip to the smallest details during our stay, we never had to worry about a thing.
All our accommodations were up to the mark, and our two safari jeep drivers, Aayo and Jacob, quickly became a part of our group. They were fantastic, knowledgeable, patient, and made every safari even more special.
As jains, vegetarians and vegans, we had a few food restrictions, but these were handled so thoughtfully throughout the trip.
They stays at Serengeti National Park were appropriate as per the location & made the experience even more special.
And the experiences… WOW! We danced with locals, saw the Big Five, witnessed the Great Migration, made new friends, laughed endlessly, and most importantly, just felt HAPPY!
