I want to highly recommend Emmy Safaris & Tours. We booked a 3-day safari with them covering Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the local tribes.
Right from the start, their communication was excellent. Prior to our arrival, they kept in direct touch, answered all our questions promptly, and were incredibly accommodating with all of our requests. They took care of everything seamlesslyâincluding all internal flights, round-trip transfers from our hotel in Zanzibar, meals, and an unforgettable safari experience.
Our guide, Nick, was wonderfulâfriendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He managed to spot all of the Big Four for us on this trip, and even spotted a cheetah, which is quite rare in Tarangire!

I wholeheartedly recommend Emmyâs safari service; beyond offering fair and competitive prices, the experience was outstanding. We were a family of four; they handled our hotel pick-up and drop-off and even looked after our belongings, as we were returning to a hotel in a different area. The guide was professional, and our visit to the Maasai tribe was a highlightâthey put on a full, elaborate performance, and we enjoyed it immensely. Emmy stayed in touch and looked after us throughout the entire journey. As a bonus, my birthday happened to fall on the night we were staying at the safari; Emmy arranged for the hotel to prepare a truly special cake and organize a festive, romantic celebratory mealâit really made my day.

Jambo! Our family of 4 had a fantastic time on safari. We did a 2 night, 3 day experience to include Tarangire, Ngorogoro, Lake Manyara and a visit to a Masai Mara village; food and drink on the safari was included (not drinks at hotel). Emmy Safaris also arranged our pick ups/ drop offs and the hotel either side of the safari. We stayed at Arusha Planet and Farm of Dreams - great staff, rooms, pool and massage! Our guide for our whole time there was Nick and he was fabulous; very informative and attentive. We had great fun and saw the big 5! It was amazing to see elephants intimidate a lioness and her cubs from a watering hole, a leopard lazing in a tree, baboons right next to us, hippos, black rhinos so close and a few majestic lions! These are only some of the animals and birds we saw. The visit to the Masai was an eye opener and interesting to learn about their traditions - my 18 year old son even had a jumping competition with their best jumper! We would recommend Emmy Safaris! We did a private 2-day safari with Emmy-Safaris in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater last week!
We had the very great person "Manuel" as our guide, who also spoke almost perfect German to our advantage!
We had two fantastic days with him, during which he read almost every wish from our lips.
We were even able to see all the Big 5 in both days and of course many more animals. We would definitely book with Emmy-Safaris again next time!

Fantastic
We had an absolutely incredible safari experience from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organised, and the team made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the entire trip.
Our guide Nick was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about wildlife. They went above and beyond to make sure we saw as many animals as possible while also teaching us about the ecosystem and local culture. Seeing elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras in their natural habitat was truly unforgettable.
The vehicle was comfortable and well maintained, and the pacing of the safari was perfect â we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the animals and the beautiful scenery. Every moment felt special and well thought out.
I would highly recommend this safari to anyone visiting the area. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and something we will never forget.

It was my first safari so I was a bit reluctant but the guys at Emmyâs tours they were brilliant from the first time we got in touch till they dropped at the airport at the end of my 2 day safari! Our tour driver Nik was well prepared and everything we asked it wasnât a problem for him spot on canât fault it at anything

Honeymoon of a Lifetime
Our safari with Emmy Safaris & Tours was nothing short of incredible. From the very first moment, the team was amazing in helping us design and adapt the safari to create our dream honeymoon experience. They were professional, caring, and attentive throughout the entire process, from planning to the very last day of our trip.
One of the highlights of our journey was our private chef, Omar. He blew us away with the most delicious, fresh meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner â every single day was something new and exciting. Watching other safari groups unpack basic lunch boxes with sandwiches made us so happy that we chose the right company. Even other guests at the camps came over to tell us how incredible our meals looked â and they were right! đłđĽ
Our guide and driver, Tony, was simply outstanding. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, incredible patience, and the way he always made us feel safe and cared for truly made our safari unforgettable. The overall safari itself was breathtaking. We did a 6-day private safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti, North Serengeti (to witness the Great Migration crossing the Mara River), and Ngorongoro Crater. Each place was stunning in its own way, and itâs hard to put into words â you simply have to experience it yourself.
⢠Tarangire amazed us with its elephants and unique landscapes.
⢠Serengeti was probably our favorite, especially getting so close to lions â just 2 meters away! My wife was moved to tears three times: first by a lioness with her three cubs, then a majestic male lion, and finally a pair of lions together. Seeing such powerful animals up close is something you never forget.
⢠Ngorongoro Crater was like stepping into another world, though we didnât spot the rhino this time â giving us the perfect excuse to return!
We saw 4 of the Big 5 and countless other animals. Even though we missed the rhino, we felt nothing but gratitude for what we did see.
I highly recommend going for a private safari rather than a shared one â it makes a huge difference in the experience. If you can, upgrade some of your stays so you can truly enjoy them by starting early and finishing early each day. Our upgraded stays were incredible, but even the standard accommodations arranged by Emmy Safaris were beautiful and close to nature.
Before booking, I spent a lot of time researching â comparing 50+ different safari companies. In the end, Emmy Safaris & Tours stood out not only for their excellent pricing but also because they genuinely listened and worked with my budget and expectations. They never pressured me to add extra days or upgrades but instead focused on creating the perfect trip for us.
Now, after seeing how other companies operated during our safari, I am 100,000% sure I made the right choice. Everything exceeded our expectations, and for that, we are truly grateful.
