Uganda safari Highlights with Gecko safaris = AMAZING
Gecko safaris provided prompt response when looking at booking the climb at Mount Rwenzoris and the wildlife tour in Uganda. Even after the booking was made, they provided a quick response when questions were provided. From start to finish there was nothing to be faulted.
Kenneth, our guide was extremely knowledgeable, safe and accommodating and made the whole experience fun, entertaining and educational.
The properties we stayed in were wonderful - the staff were extremely friendly and no request was ever too difficult.
Papaya Lodge was one of the most beautifully scenic places I've stayed at - the rooms had the most incredible view of the Lake and Valley and it was the most incredible view to wake up too.
Mweya safari lodge also provided a flawless and accommodating environment. The tented rooms were amazing from the spaciousness to the comfort, to the slippers! The lodge itself also had a large range of extra activities - the spa treatments are definitely recommended.
The National Parks we visited provided us with sightings of a large range of wildlife - the knowledge our guide Kenneth had was next level - what an amazing and enjoyable trip - something I will remember forever and happily recommend to anyone wanting to visit Uganda. Thanks Gecko safaris!

Amazing Amazing and successful safari in Uganda
We zeroed on Uganda specifically for the gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest because seeing these amazing relatives in their native environment, so close up is indescribable! At Lake Mburo, cantering through the bush with impala and zebra on the horseback riding safari in lake Mburo national park was very exhilarating! I also included a couple days in other national parks like Murchison falls,Kibale national park and kidepo valley national park. Excellent lodges with nice food and helpful employees.Our driver/guide (Peter) whi accompanied us the entire trip from gorillas,chimpanzee.wildlife,nature and cruising on the nile. He was amazing - very knowledgeable and entertaining. Gecko safaris will always be on our minds.

Our 7-day safari with Gecko safari was the absolute highlight of our time in Uganda and Rwanda! Jessy's passion for the animals and the park were felt at every turn - he's been guiding safaris for 14 years and was still just as excited as we were to find the animals and explore the park! We had Sam as our guide the last day of our tour and he was also fantastic - both incredibly knowledgeable and did all they could to show us a great trip filled with animals and beautiful views . Gecko safaris is highly recommended for any tour in Uganda,Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya.

Enjoyed our Luxury Africa Safari Gecko Safaris
Gecko Safaris did a great job to put together a wonderful 11 day itinerary in uganda for us. We have been to Africa before but always stayed in
Kenyan lodges. This time we wanted to spend more time in safari tents . We arrived into Uganda 2 days early to rest up after the long 22 hour flight from home. Monica arranged a pick up at the airport for us and an extra night stay at the Boma hotel which is only 10 minute drive from entebbe airport. Our guide Moses was so patient with us at each park when we would ask to stop so we could take photos and knew to turn the engine off so the vibrations wouldn't interfere. He was very knowledgeable about animals and birds. If he didn't have the answer he had some wonderful books on birds and animals the he would use to answer our questions. On our last day, as we stayed in Mihingo lodge which i strongly think that its the best lodge in Uganda. meals , service ,view of the park and horse riding i can not forget every moment at Mihingo , That morning we saw a leopard and zebras make the crossing very close to our tent.
