AMAZING VALUE, SEAMLESS SERVICE, KNOWLEDGABLE & FANTASTIC GUIDES!
5/5

This Company offered us one the best Safari experiences that we ever could have hoped for & it was far better than expectations. My friends and I decided to celebrate our 30th Birthdays on Safari and had an amazing time.

We were picked up at our hotel in Nairobi incredibly promptly (in fact they were early and told our room that that had arrived). We then drove to the Masai Mara, which is actually fine. It's around 5-6 hours drive but there are lots of stops and chances to stretch your legs. From there, we checked into the Sopa Lodge which was absolutely amazing (and the food was great!) before being whisked off for an evening game drive.

The first drive was great - the drivers all talk to each other which maximises the chance of seeing the animals! In our first 2 hours we saw Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants etc. We then went back, had some great food and drank some Tusker by the lodge fire. The rooms were also good value. The next morning - we had an early start and headed out onto Safari. We couldn't believe our luck and managed to see all of the big 5! It was one of the best days of my life for sure.

Because we had basically seen everything in the first day, we decided to see a Masai Village the next day - which was great. It was very insightful to see the village. Be careful though, you are expected to buy some of their merchandise. (I spent about £30 on a necklace, a bracelet and a lion figure. We were then dropped back.

I would highly recommend this service if you are looking for a super value, great company with the guides with great accommodation. There are more expensive options than this which I am sure are more luxurious, but this was absolutely perfect for us - and we like to think we have high standards. Our drivers Albert & Dennis were also great guys!

Good Experience
4/5

They offered good value and were great with responding back to emails. They answered all my questions promptly as well. The tour driver was nice and easy to communicate with. We stayed a kibo safari camp ambioselli. Camp was perfect, hot water, clean and as described. Only con is that the execution of all our requests wasnt perfect. I had asked for vegan and vegetarian meals. I had to ask for it again at every meal, both on the van and at the camp. The driver kindly purchased fruits for us but on the way back, the picnic lunch was awful, a small white bread sandwich with cucumber and tomato, cold fried potatoes, dry cake, 1 small apple and half a cup of coleslaw. Also, opt for their better vehicles at the higher price, the van doesnt drive as smoothly as the land cruisers. Game drives were good. Overall, I will use their services again, but I will make sure to communicate exactly what foods I want ahead of time.

Excellent start, medium finish
4/5

We started our safari at excellent pace; there were elephants, antelope, giraffe, cheetah, lions, baboons, zebra, buffalo, guinea fowl and many more, just within the first two hour tour! The second and third day were just as interesting, and we also saw a leopard up a tree. Our fourth day at Lake Nakuru was cut short at 11am, and although we got to see some white rhino in the morning, we were stuck in a pretty poor hotel all day, with nothing to do.

The accommodation and food were excellent, apart from the last accommodation at Lake Naivasha. Our towels weren't clean, bathroom door didn't close, mattress sank and our door locks were the same as our neighbours. They should seriously reconsider this accommodation, as it greatly affected the experience. There are plenty of wildlife at Nakuru and we'd much rather have stayed longer to see more of it.

The Masai village tour is interesting, but the men in the village are clearly bored of entertaining tourists every single morning.

James, our guide was very energetic for most of the journey and a very friendly guy. He was very knowledgeable and managed to find plenty of animals for us to see on our journey. We saw the 'Big 5', plus many more. He's an excellent driver and we always felt safe in his care.

Overall, we would definitely recommend this tour. It is very good value for money, but I would probably choose a four-day, rather than a five-day tour, next time.

Great Experience
5/5

We booked our Safari at Lenchada and had a great days experience. The camp was simple but quite okay for the price and the driver was very nice and made sure that we saw all of the animals. Dinner was a buffet of various local food and we really enjoyed. They even gave us an update on the car for a small extra fee.

Thank you for giving us such a lovely experience.

Best value for the money safari
5/5

Their price was lower than most safaries and we were apprehensive about quality. But we were completely surprised. A budget tent/lodge safari didn't feel budget quality. The parmanent tent had real beds and real bathroom with vanity, real toilet, and hot water. Also we had electricity for many hours in the evening. There were portable hurricane lamps for use in the middle of night. All meals were quite good that we didn't expect in a safari. Customer service at all levels were quite satisfactory. The driver Kikitu was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He is highly energetic and showed us as much as possible everyday. We saw all types of animals. Our best view was seeing a lion chase pack of zebras and getting a kill. It was exciting but hard to watch. But it's a circle of life and nature takes and gives at the same time. Our one major bad luck was not seeing the migration crossing the mara river. That day, there were none. I guess you have to be lucky. We have to go again and figure out how to make sure it happens. That means look for a safari that takes you to Masai Mara for more than one full day.
