TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Sirmichaels safaris purchases its restaurant services, accommodation and other services from different independent suppliers that are not subject to Sirmichaels Safaris’ control. All such entities are independent contractors. Nevertheless, we make sure that the suppliers we deal with have the necessary licenses under the laws of the land, and have the required Health & Safety Certificates.
Sirmichaels Safaris will ensure flawless operation of the safaris but is not legally responsible for delays in departure or interruption of tour arrangements as a result of acts of God, strikes, or any other causes beyond the control of Beacon Safaris.
Every attempt will be made to run as planned, although, alterations may take place after the final itinerary has been issued. Accommodation and arranged sightseeing activities are subject to change owing to unexpected circumstances or circumstances beyond Sirmichaels Safaris’ control.
Sirmichaels Safaris reserves the right to accept, decline or retain anyone as a passenger should such person’s health, mental condition or general deportment hinder the operation of the trip or the welfare or satisfaction of other tourists, at his/her own expense. Clients, who are disorderly or jeopardize the group or the travel experience, may be removed from the tour with no refund at their own expense.
Itineraries
Accommodations including arranged game drives or excursions are subject to change if hindered by unpredicted circumstances or circumstances beyond Sirmichaels Safaris’ control. Every attempt will be made to run itineraries as intended, but changes may take place after the final schedule has been issued. Sirmichaels Safaris also reserves the right to pull out an itinerary, or any part of it, to make changes to the itinerary as it deems desirable, if delays or events beyond its control apply.
Special Requests
Specific requests such as connecting or adjacent rooms, smoking rooms, bedding requests as well as special dietary requirement should be advised during booking. Please note that all attempt will be made to meet your special request, nevertheless, it cannot be guaranteed.
Prices and Arrangements
Quoted itinerary prices include planning, handling as well as operational charges, and are based on current tariffs, rates of exchange and taxes. Sirmichaels Safaris reserves the right to raise itinerary prices to cover increased taxes, tariffs, V.A.T and costs received after prices are published, and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. Sirmichaels Safaris is under no obligation to give a breakdown in costs involved in any itinerary.
Early Check in
Sirmichaels Safaris requests all hotels to provide this service when possible; nevertheless, check-in time as a rule is mid-afternoon at all accommodation facilities. Consideration of early check-in depends on availability.
Cancellation Charges
In case of written cancellation, the following fine of itinerary cost will be assessed based on the number of days prior to itinerary departure that the cancellation was received:
90-60 days prior 20% of the itinerary cost
59-30 days prior 50% of the itinerary cost
29 or less 100% 0f the itinerary cost.
Air Fares
International airfares are not included in the itinerary costs. Sirmichaels Safaris has special contracts with several airlines and can offer quotations from any entry point. All international and domestic air fares are subject to alteration and availability at the time of reservation.
Passports
It’s the traveller’s responsibility to make sure that all their passport and visa requirements are met. All travellers should be have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond their entry date.
Visas
Visas may be required for most passport holders. Nevertheless, it is recommended that you consult your local Consulate/Embassy on visa requirements.
Health
Health regulations for some countries visited may require proof of vaccination certificate; such certificates should be in your possession during the entire trip It is our suggestion that you consult your personal physician for additional information. Sirmichaels Safaris will not be held liable if you do not have appropriate vaccinations/inoculations.
Travel Insurance
We strongly advise that you purchase a travel insurance policy for the duration of your expedition in case there are any unpredicted circumstances such as delayed luggage, cancellation of flights leading to loss of tour time, loss of personal effects, medical expenses while on the tour, and other factors that may lead to the termination of your trip.
Rates
Unless otherwise indicated, all our rates are in United States Dollars and are per person sharing a double/twin room. Quoted itinerary costs are based on the rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes applicable at the time of preparing your itinerary. Sirmichaels Safaris reserves the right to increase itinerary costs to cover any increase in Park Entrance Fees, Air Fares, Taxes, and fluctuations in foreign exchange currency.
Itinerary Cost Exclusion
Your holiday cost does not include: air transportation (unless specifically stated as included), visa fees; any vaccination (If required); health certificates; airport taxes and country departure taxes (if applicable); all items of a personal nature; drinks, beverages and meals not specified; gratuity to tour escorts and driver guides; excess baggage charges; insurance; excursions not included on the itinerary; laundry; room service and any other items/services not listed on your confirmed itinerary.
