It is assumed by reading this document and passage that the client(s) understand the potential risk involved in activities of a safari nature and as well as understanding that African Unique Safaris and Tours ltd. cannot be held liable for any unfortunate weather events, natural disasters or domestic or political upheavals in locations visited.
The below are African Unique Safaris and Tours ltd Terms and Conditions which are mirrored by the accommodation partners we use. As your booking agent we apply the same terms and conditions that are enforced on us. All cancellations should be made in writing and cancellation charges are calculated on the total value of the booking. African Unique Safaris will always try and work in good faith with our clients should unfortunate situations occur, but are restricted to accommodation partners cancellation policies, availability and good faith.
• Automatic release on Hold Bookings – All hold bookings exceeding their 14 day expiry date will automatically be released without further notice from our reservations team. If you need an extension on your hold booking please contact reservations@africanuniquesafaris.com and we would be happy to extend your booking for another 7 days.
• All Boating Activities are subject to water levels (high or low).
• Children below 15 years of age are required to share a room with an adult.
• Visa’s – Please note that Visas for clients can be purchased on arrival at International Airport, Uganda or online prior to your visit at: https://visas.immigration.go.ug
PAYMENTS CONDITIONS
• The initial payment of 40% of the full sale price quoted is required to reserve all accommodations, inclusion flights and transfers and inclusion activities. Availability is not guaranteed until the payment is received. Upon payment African Unique Safaris and Tours will provide you with the bank details, you will receive formal confirmation from African Unique Safaris and Tours who will forward the accommodation confirmation within 72 hours. Transfer fees from your bank are not included and Bank of Kigali and Equity Bank will only receive payment of US dollars.
FIT – PAYMENTS TERMS
Payment of each reservation shall be made as follows when booked more than thirty-one (31) days from date of arrival:
• A non-refundable 20% deposit upon acceptance of reservations is to be received by African Unique Safaris from the Operator within fourteen (14) days from date of confirmation; failure to do so could result in automatic cancellation of the reservation being held.
• The balance is due not less than the thirty (30) days prior to arrival.
