1. Places to visit to visit? – In Uganda the main areas you can visit are mainly the national parks, historical sites, markets and nature
2. Activities involved? – Forest/bush walks, boat cruises, scenic walks, game drives, scenic walks, birding and fishing.
3. How do I get there? – By land mainly in fully insured 4 x 4 customised vehicles, designed to suit your requirements when traveling to the various destinations, and We also offer air transport, which is mainly charter of 2-5 seater planes where applicable.
4. What type of accommodation is available – Accommodation ranges from up market, budget and basic, all categories can be found in the areas of your visit.
5. What weather would I expect? – Uganda has two seasons – the rain season which ranges from Mar – May and Sept – Nov, and the dry season from Dec – Feb and June – Aug.
6. What is services should I expect on this trip? – Experienced driver/guide services, accommodation & meals, transportation.
7. Can I suggest a private itinerary? – Yes you can, and we can tailor you trip according to your requirement.
8. What is included in the price – Depending on your itinerary, activities as per places of visit, accommodation, transport & tour guide services.
9. Any restrictions that I should be aware of? – These include, all children under age of 18 years should be accompanied by an adult, and these are NOT allowed to go for gorilla treks, Any traveler found to be suffering from a communicable disease such as a common cold or cough, influenza or diarrhea may be barred by park authorities from tracking gorillas and chimpanzees to avoid passing the infection on to the primates. If you report your condition in advance to you guide, you have be able to claim for a refund for your gorilla permit.
10. In case I am traveling alone? – We try as much to add up the tour with other clients, so make your trip more affordable, but just incase we are not able to others then the single supplement rates do apply.
11. What are the penalties for canceling my trip? Cancellations received will be subject to the following forfeit of tour cost:
50-60 days 10% of tour cost
40-50 days 20% of tour cost
20-40 days 30% of tour cost
0-20 days 100% of tour cost
Cancellation fees are based on the date your written notification is received at our booking office.
12. What guarantee do I have that the trip will run? Your trip will run for as long as we have the minimum required numbers, should this not happen the company reserves the write to cancel the trip or suggest to you any other option deemed suitable at the time. Communication will be made at least 60 days prior to your date of departure.
13. Do I need a Visa? Most of the nationalities need visas to Uganda, and the DRC, some exceptions for Rwanda. Visas are $30 for Uganda and DRC and $60 for Rwanda.

Reservations
A non-refundable deposit of 20% per person of the full amount is due when booking. The booking fee is accepted as part of the inclusive tour price and will only be * refunded should the application not be recommended.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received will be subject to the following forfeit of tour cost:

Responsibility
All information presented here within is correct at the time of presentation, changes may occur beyond our control. Escape Tours & Safaris are acting on behalf of their principals and will not accept liability for any result of the failure of such principals to fulfill their obligations, whether in relation to travel arrangements, accommodation or otherwise.
Escape Tours & Safaris, does not accept any responsibility for any damages, injury or otherwise sustained directly or indirectly by a client in consequence of any act of omission or commission by Escape tours & safaris. However arising, by the client undertaking the tour/trip contemplated in the contract.
Escape tours & safaris, will not be held responsible for any delays, costs incurred due to delays caused by airline rescheduling, e\mechanical breakdown, acts of God, or any reason.
Escape Tours & Safaris and its principals, any have to alter an itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances – without notice to the client, and provided the itinerary that was booked, the client shall not be entitled to cancel the contract.
Insurance & Documents
Travel insurance for all Escape tours& Safaris tours is compulsory, and it is the client’s responsibly to arrange cancellation insurance.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure his/her travel documents are valid, and all the necessary visas, and health and other certificates are obtained.
Tour Price
Escape Tours & Safaris reserves the right to increase the tour price due to any unforeseen increases in airline tariffs, fuel costs, game reserves or park entry fees, or fluctuation of exchange rates etc.
Booking form
The client must sign a booking form when the booking is made, completion of the form is an acknowledgement that the client has read, understood and accepted the full terms & conditions
