Terms and Conditions for Clada Safari Bliss
1. Booking and Reservations
Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only after Clada Safari Bliss receives a written confirmation request and the required initial deposit.
Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total safari cost is required at the time of booking to secure reservations for accommodation, transport, and park entry permits. Balance of payment is required 60 days prior to departure or on the date stipulated on the invoice. If the reservation is made within 60 days of the departure date of the tour, full payment for the tour is required.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total tour price based on the date written notice is received:
3. Alterations and Itinerary Changes
Changes by Client: Any request to amend dates, itineraries, or accommodations after booking confirmation will be subject to availability and may incur administrative or vendor adjustment fees.
Changes by Clada Safari Bliss: While every effort is made to adhere to planned itineraries, Clada Safari Bliss reserves the right to modify routes, accommodations, or transport arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather, road conditions, park regulations, or safety concerns. Equivalent alternative arrangements will be provided wherever possible.
4. Pricing and Rates
All prices are quoted in USD (or local currency as agreed upon) and are based on exchange rates, park entry fees, hotel tariffs, and government taxes current at the time of quotation.
Clada Safari Bliss reserves the right to adjust prices in the event of unforeseen increases in government taxes, national park fees, fuel surcharges, or currency fluctuations prior to final payment.
5. Inclusions and Exclusions
Inclusions: Accommodation and meals as specified in the itinerary, ground transportation in dedicated safari vehicles, services of a professional driver/guide, park entrance fees, and bottled water during game drives.
Exclusions: International or regional airfares (unless explicitly included in the package), visa fees, travel and medical insurance, tips/gratuities, personal expenses (laundry, alcoholic beverages, phone calls), and optional activities not detailed in the itinerary.
6. Medical Conditions, Fitness, and Travel Insurance
Health Requirements: Guests must notify Clada Safari Bliss of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, disabilities, or physical limitations prior to booking.
Mandatory Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel, medical, emergency evacuation, and cancellation insurance is strongly required for all clients. Clada Safari Bliss is not responsible for medical expenses or losses incurred due to inadequate insurance coverage.
7. Liability and Disclaimers
Inherent Risks: Safaris involve travel in remote areas and interaction with wild animals, which carries inherent risks. Participating in any safari activity is at the client’s own risk.
Limitation of Liability: Clada Safari Bliss acts solely as an agent for hotels, lodges, transport providers, and activity vendors. Clada Safari Bliss shall not be held liable for personal injury, death, property loss, damage, delay, or expense resulting from acts of nature, civil unrest, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, or negligence by third-party suppliers.
8. Code of Conduct and Environmental Respect
Guests are required to strictly follow instructions given by safari guides and park officials.
Off-road driving, feeding wildlife, littering, making excessive noise, or provoking animals is strictly prohibited to ensure safety and wildlife conservation.
9. Force Majeure
Clada Safari Bliss shall not be liable for failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations under these terms if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, epidemics/pandemics, or civil unrest.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the operating country (e.g., Kenya/Tanzania/Uganda), and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
