Experience Safaris – Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payment
A deposit of 30% of the total cost is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the start of the safari.
Bookings made less than 30 days prior to departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or online payment as agreed.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are subject to the following charges:
More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus bank charges.
15–30 days before departure: 50% refund.
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
No refunds will be given for unused services, early departures, or no-shows.
3. Alterations and Changes
Experience Safaris reserves the right to alter the itinerary or accommodation if necessary due to weather, safety, availability, or other operational reasons.
Any changes requested by the client after confirmation may incur additional charges.
4. Travel Insurance
Clients are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, cancellation, curtailment, and baggage loss.
Experience Safaris does not provide insurance and will not be held liable for uninsured losses.
5. Health and Safety
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are medically fit and have all necessary vaccinations.
Clients must comply with all health and safety regulations and follow instructions from safari guides and staff.
We are not liable for injuries, illnesses, or death that occur due to negligence or failure to follow safety instructions.
6. Wildlife and Nature
Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
Guests must understand that they are traveling in wilderness areas and must act responsibly at all times.
7. Passports, Visas, and Entry Requirements
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and all necessary visas or permits for travel.
Experience Safaris is not responsible for missed departures or denied entries due to incorrect documentation.
8. Liability Disclaimer
While we take all reasonable precautions, Experience Safaris shall not be held liable for loss, damage, injury, or death resulting from any act or omission of any third party, government, or force majeure event.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the safari.
9. Complaints
Complaints must be reported to the guide or tour manager immediately. If unresolved, they must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the safari’s end.
We will investigate and respond within 30 days.
10. Use of Images
Experience Safaris may use photos or videos taken during the safari for promotional purposes. If you do not consent, please inform us in writing before the tour.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Any disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation or, if necessary, through local legal proceedings.
