General Notes & Conditions:
• All rates quoted in this agreement apply to all booking types. Rates are quoted in United States Dollars (USD$) and include all local taxes and service charges.
• All prices are based on costs at the time of publication and are subject to change. Easter, Christmas & Peak/high Season supplements apply in select hotels.
• Connecting rooms, adjacent rooms are not guaranteed & subject to availability at the time of confirmation as per hotel’s discretion.
• In the event of any appreciation of the Kenya Shilling of over 5% vis-à-vis the currency in which the contract is drawn or any changes in government taxes, training levy or service charge, Holidays & Beyond Ltd reserves the right to adjust these rates accordingly, from the date of such changes and/or any variations.
• Please take good note that upon check in, some hotels might need credit card/cash for guarantee of incidental expenses
• Minor program changes are sometimes necessary, depending on road/Weather conditions, room availability and circumstance at that time.
• Child means less than 12 years old. Child 12 years and over will be charged as adult. Children sharing with paying adults 0-3 years – free (Maximum 2 per room)
• Any unutilized services are non-refundable
Booking Terms
• Peak/high, Easter and Festive seasons: A 50% deposit is payable on confirmation of booking and the balance is due 45 days prior to arrival
• Shoulder Season: A 30% deposit is payable on confirmation of booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival
• Low Season: A 30% deposit is payable on confirmation of booking and the balance is due 15 days prior to arrival
• Cash payments are strictly prohibited. Where credit cards are used, we impose a 3.9% charge as bank suffices charges.
• Last minute cheque payments are not permitted, allow 5-7 workings days for clearance prior to arrival
• Bookings will automatically be cancelled if balance payment is not received as per the payment policy and Cancellation and No-Show clause will apply.
• A service voucher will only be issued after receipt 100% payment.
• Holidays & Beyond Ltd will not be liable to its clients for any act of God or force majeure that disrupts a client(s) itinerary, any planned activities or experience at or between partner camps, if this results in the camp(s) inability to deliver the contracted services
• Kindly note International Travel, Flight packages, Festive season, Easter season, and last-minute Bookings may require 100% full payment.
Cancellation policy:
• Cancellation will be subject to specific hotel booked cancellation policy.
• Most hotels may extend a credit note where sufficient notice is given (preferably 21 days prior).
• Last-minute cancellations (less than 7 days) accrue 100% fees.
General Cancellation and Reduction in Number Policy:
• Between 28 and 21 days prior to date of stay 50% of the total cost will be charged. Between 21 and 14 days prior to date of stay 70% of the total cost will be charged. Between 07 and a No Show, 100% of the total cost will be charged.
