Prices;
Prices include all expenses as outlined in the itineraries/invoice.
Transport;
Transportation shall be provided as agreed upon.
1. Tour Van:
• Tour vans typically have seating for around 8 to 9 passengers, including the driver - guide. • These vans are designed with comfort in mind, offering ample legroom and space for passengers to move around during the journey.
• Storage space in tour vans can vary, but they usually have room for luggage and personal belongings for all passengers, provided they pack lightly with soft bags and avoid hard suitcases.
2. Land Cruiser:
• Land Cruisers used for safaris often have a seating capacity of around 7 to 8 passengers, including the driver - guide.
• These vehicles are more compact than tour vans but are well-suited for off-road adventures, thanks to their rugged construction and 4-wheel drive capabilities.
• While Land Cruisers may have slightly less interior space than tour vans, they typically have ample storage capacity for luggage and equipment, especially when passengers pack lightly with soft bags and avoid hard suitcases.
It's important for travelers to consider their group size and comfort preferences when choosing between a tour van and a Land Cruiser for their safari adventure. Both options offer unique advantages and can provide an unforgettable experience in Kenya's wilderness. Please be aware that tour vans and Land Cruisers used for safari adventures are typically non-air-conditioned, providing an authentic safari experience amidst the natural elements of the African wilderness.
Bookings;
A deposit of a minimum of 50% of the cost of the safari shall be required for bookings to be confirmed and reserved prior to the date of the safari, depending on the availability of rooms and vehicles. International travelers must make their reservations at least 3 months to the day or travel and clear their balances at least 1 month before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
Payments;
All safaris must be fully paid for before the commencement of the safari. All travelers must pay their deposits and balances only to the authorized company accounts; any payment out of these accounts must be authorized in writing and approved by the company management via official company communication channels. The company will not be liable to payments, offers, and agreements outside the official accounts by persons other than the company directors. Company currency exchange rates apply at all times.
Safari orientations;
Unless the safari is private, clients will share the safari facilities with others. Clients are therefore advised to be good-natured and enjoy being with others. Be prepared to encounter customs and habits, which may be different from your own, and forms part of the adventure.
Changes in itineraries;
The sequence of itineraries is normally adhered to, but the company reserves the right to make alterations occasioned by weather, road works, high season congestion or any other unforeseen circumstances. Any alterations by the clients to the agreed itineraries should be done in the office.
The company shall not be held liable for any complaint arising out of changes made between the client and the safari guide out of the office. All changes must be informed to the office.
Cancellation and postponements;
In case a booking is cancelled or postponed, the following cancellation fees shall apply;
Domestic/Resident travelers
2 weeks before date of travel - 100% refund less transaction charges.
Less than 2 weeks before date of travel – 50% refund less transaction charges
No show and less than 1 weeks before date of travel - No refund
International travelers
2 months before date of travel - 100% refund less transaction charges
2 months to the date of travel - 50% refund less transaction charges
No show and less than 1 month to the date of travel - No refund
In addition to the Safari Boyz cancellation policies mentioned above, please note that the cancellation policies of the hotels or accommodations booked for your safari will also apply as per their respective terms and conditions. It's essential to familiarize yourself with the cancellation policies of both Safari Boyz and your chosen accommodations to understand any potential fees or penalties associated with changes to your travel plans.
