Liz Explore Tours & Safaris – Terms & Conditions
1. Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as communicated by Liz Explore Tours & Safaris.
2. Deposits and Payments
A deposit may be required to secure accommodation, flights, transfers, park fees, excursions, and other travel services. Full payment must be received before the commencement of the tour unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing.
Deposits are non-refundable once payments have been made to hotels, lodges, camps, airlines, parks, transport providers, or other suppliers on the client’s behalf.
Refunds, where applicable, will be subject to the cancellation policies of the respective suppliers. Liz Explore Tours & Safaris reserves the right to deduct all unrecoverable costs already incurred, including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, flight tickets, park fees, bank charges, and administrative expenses.
4. Amendments by the Client
Requests for changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may attract additional charges imposed by suppliers.
5. Changes by Liz Explore Tours & Safaris
While every effort will be made to operate tours as advertised, Liz Explore Tours & Safaris reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodation, transport arrangements, routes, or activities when necessary due to operational requirements, weather conditions, government regulations, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.
6. Travel Documents
Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that they possess valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, travel insurance, and any other documentation required for travel to their destination.
Liz Explore Tours & Safaris shall not be held liable for any costs, losses, or denied travel arising from incomplete or invalid travel documents.
7. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers. Insurance should cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, personal accidents, trip cancellation, travel delays, and loss of personal belongings.
8. Accommodation and Transportation
Accommodation, flights, transfers, and other travel services are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective suppliers. Liz Explore Tours & Safaris acts as an intermediary in arranging such services.
9. Liability
Liz Explore Tours & Safaris acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, lodges, camps, transport providers, and other service providers.
We shall not be liable for injury, illness, death, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or additional expenses arising from acts or omissions of third-party suppliers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. Force Majeure
Liz Explore Tours & Safaris shall not be liable for failure to perform any obligation due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, floods, droughts, pandemics, epidemics, strikes, civil unrest, terrorism, government restrictions, border closures, airline disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
11. Client Conduct
Clients are expected to comply with local laws, park regulations, hotel policies, and instructions given by guides, drivers, and tour representatives.
Any behavior that endangers others, damages property, or disrupts services may result in termination of the tour without refund.
12. Pricing
All prices are subject to change without prior notice until a booking has been confirmed and payment received. Quotations are based on rates available at the time of quoting.
13. Complaints
Any complaints arising during a tour should be reported immediately to Liz Explore Tours & Safaris to allow an opportunity for prompt resolution.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya.
15. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of a deposit, full payment, or participation in any tour arranged by Liz Explore Tours & Safaris constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
